  • Metalfish its really called Longboat and you just have an exscuisess you were little too late for answer back .but i am icelandic so i really know it not american or brithis

  • Actually, it is called a Drakkor and a longship. Longboats were used for fishing and merchanting. I was instructed by a long time viking on the high council that anything with a dragon on the prow was NOT to be called a longboat. :)

  • Thanks Lars, we had a great time. The wind and waves just made it all the more exciting to be out sailing. And remember guys, real vikings don't say "wheeee!" when going over a wave! LOL
