When Marie was talking about, "Everybody does it", and "If you saw a girl in fishnets at 11 PM at broadway, would you think she was a hooker?", the audience was all disagreeing, I highly doubt those people in the audience doesn't judge, or think "that girl's a hooker", they were only lying to make those girls feel bad, because that's what society would tell them is correct.
The big girl does have a point...I'm a big girl. It's not about judging people about being heavy, like she said be tasteful. I don't want to see a big woman wearing a mini skirt and a half shirt. No judgement on weight, it just bothers her that she has to see it. So i see where she is coming from somewhat.
I hate the fact that she's trying to justify why each of them are judging so harshly. I have dealt with anorexia for three years, and I think the most triggering event that caused it was when someone told me that I didn’t need to eat another cookie. Ok i just have to say if i was on that show i would make more harsh comments on the women who were judging the other ladies and see how it feels to get hurt. You know what...I like the curvy chick. Everyone does judge everyone else whether it be about accents, assets, ppl from certain areas, etc. Everyone does have something that they would find unappealing. But I don't agree with her way of judging with insults and hurtful statements.

I am sad for these women. I think that people who are quick to judge others by the way they look could be potentially missing out on getting to know some of the greatest people (and potential friends!) they may ever meet. That big girl, or the one with the large nose - either one could be the nicest, most loyal and supportive friend in the world and the "haters" would be the ones missing out because their own judgements would prevent them from getting to know her.
I don't know why girls are so much more judgmental than guys. The guy at the very beginning was just so authentic and so genuine, and he spoke the truth.

Guys have pressure, too, to have the abs and the muscles and whatnot, but it's not mandatory and an average-looking guy could still get the pretty girls based on personality. Girls however, have to look "perfect" all the time; big boobs, little waist, big butt, perfect skin and hair. That's all you see as the ideal in the media, so we compare ourselves to them constantly, trying to find some similarity

But the everyday public doesn't know that, so when we see flaws in ourselves, we take it as not being up to the standard, and it hurts. Then when we see another girl who has what we feel we're lacking, we take it out on them by tearing down the flaws we can find, thereby making them self-conscious too. It's a vicious cycle, really.

Can society please stop using the term 'curvy' for big women? I am curvy by the true definition and it drives me crazy. When I was younger and used to read seventeen magazine there would be style guides for big girls labeled as curvy. What about the truly curvy girls? We are forgotten. My personal opinion is; everyone judges everyone, and the most important thing is that you're satisfied with yourself. I've been sick for over a year, and like that girl, I ate a lot because I was so miserable. I got really overweight, and was repulsed by myself. Now I've lost all the weight I gained and more, and even though I'm not skinny-skinny, I am slim. I've got curves, but I'm not chubby even. If anyone wants to call me fat; do that. It won't affect me, because I'm proud over my looks :)

I used to judge people. Up front I'm not going to lie. I have PCOS, and I gained a lot of weight because of that. I never overate, i was always active, but the syndrome did that to me anyway. I was judged all through middle school, I wont eat at school anymore, and I wont consume over 500 cals a day. BECAUSE of judgmental people. I lost all the weight and I look healthy, but physiologically, those people fucked me up. THINK about what you say and what it can do to people

@labellavienna There is no comparison there. Of course she judges the girls on ANTM, because that's what they are there for. It's a competition. They expect to be criticized, and it's all for their careers. I'm sure Tyra doesn't go around judging people on the street for their appearance.

My personal opinion is; everyone judges everyone, and the most important thing is that you're satisfied with yourself. I've been sick for over a year, and like that girl, I ate a lot because I was so miserable. I got really overweight, and was repulsed by myself. Now I've lost all the weight I gained and more, and even though I'm not skinny-skinny, I am slim. I've got curves, but I'm not chubby even. If anyone wants to call me fat; do that. It won't affect me, because I'm proud over my looks :)

I used to judge people. Up front I'm not going to lie. I was bullied and treated like shit I was so insecure (even though countless people told me I was beautiful or pretty) I put other girls down so I could feel better about myself. But it doesn't... at the end they don't know who they r effecting and hurting so they really need to put their selves in the other persons shoes and stop... because it not hard if I could do it they could too

I do not blame the panel for being so mean & judgmental, & I admire Tyra & the team in bringing up such topic and put it into a show. Everyone judges. This is part of human nature to spot areas that need to be improved so we can work on it. But the difference is we just keep it to ourselves & do not spill it out directly to the person. Honestly, I think what we have in our minds can be even more hurtful than what this panel said at times.

These girls are insecure and like to project it on others. A girl at school named Chandler always makes fun of others. Other girls make her feel inferior. She knows the girls she is talking about are pretty, but because she is insecure and thinks lowly of herself she calls them ugly. In reality she would cry if they confronted her about it. She's hurting because she was probably made fun of as a child but that's not an excuse to hurt others. She is scared of my maturity & confidence. Hater! ;D

I have PCOS, and I gained a lot of weight because of that. I never overate, i was always active, but the syndrome did that to me anyway. I was judged all through middle school, I wont eat at school anymore, and I wont consume over 500 cals a day. BECAUSE of judgmental people. I lost all the weight and I look healthy, but physiologically, those people fucked me up. THINK about what you say and what it can do to people

I've gained over 100 lbs in 6 yrs b/c "I" let myself go. Not b/c of getting married, not b/c of my son, but b/c I put myself at the bottom of the totem pole for others. Now that I'm going to be a mother of 2 soon I have no time to be overweight b/c that will affect my children. Not for appearances, but b/c I'm overweight b/c I'm unhealthy & lazy. I'm not going to lie. People need to stop lying & blaming others for their misfortune. Do something about it if it hurts so bad.

What is interesting to me is that all of the girls on that stage are in pain...but the two groups each took a different approach to deal with that pain. The girls on the right, make it a point to try their hardest not to judge others like they were judged because they remember the pain....but the girls on the left, were hurt and they embrace the kind of thinking that hurt them...and they hurt others and they make people be like the kind of people they hate...and they make people like themselves.
