  • Shmuley's ideas make sense. If you take away the money, tv, and computers, what's left? Can the children experience comfort by having family dinners and having stories read to them? Can Mom and Dad be happy with each other? Does each one think his/her spouse is attractive? Do the parents/children learn from each other?

    If you want to see the worst scenario, watch ABOUT SCHMIDT with Jack Nicholson. He plays a guy who has never made any effort to enjoy family life, finds that he has nothing left.
