@glibbz1550 Actually, it looked like it but if you see the replay the receiver didn't actually have possession of the ball until he was behind the first down marker.
@rizwanmahmoodster I know I was just about to say that looked exactly like Manningham. The camera angle at 0:22 looked like the exact same spot Manningham made the catch and the footwork looks exactly the same.
if peyton goes to the jets or dolphins... the afc east is going to be all sorts of interseting, I don't think the patriots wanna play him twice a year, or even 3 times (post season matchups) he will give you guys a whole lot of trouble
as a giants fan, I think people have forgotten the greatness of this guy, i mean you can just see it in the throws he makes how great peyton is. Wherever he goes, they'll be lucky to have him.
The only time that the steelers ever got cheated on was when they played the colts. The refs in this stadium are incredible! New England gets fucked by the zebras in Indianapolis every time. Only if my Raiders had these refs!
@Mike88DK The one for the Colts is Bob Lamey. Whenever the Colts are playing, he does the commentating for them. 97.1. Great guy! Great commentator. The other one is probably one for the Patriots.
And people still have the balls to say this guy ain't clutch? its no coincidence or luck he's behind 3 of the greatest comebacks in NFL history including the 2006 AFC Championship game. And its not like he's done them against shabby teams. Some regard the 2003 BUCS as arguably the best defensive unit of all time and he put up 28 points against them in the 4th quarter. Go figure.....
They make it look like u have the game, like u can finally relax because ur team is about to win, but then the colts come up with the win and ur like "How did that just happen?"
Peyton needs to stay in Indy, they need to work it out, he needs to remain the face of that franchise, they went 2-14 without him, its evident they need him
@TheOnlyzFrAzZ lol I hope they don't get him, I like the Cowboys, and the Redskins have been our punching bag for years now (Cowboys have won 6 of the last 7 meetings). @VennieDue His feet crossed the first down marker but the ball never did. In order to get the first down the ball has to cross the plane not the body.
fuck all yal niggas that dont like the colts the the best team in the NFL even though we had a bad season we back in there next year payton is the best and ant no dout about that
I'm a pats fan and this hurts to watch but Peyton is a special player and i hope he comes back. And didn't the colts have an even better comeback against Tampa?
Two great quarterbacks (Tom Brady & Peyton Manning), two tough receivers (Randy Moss & Reggie Wayne), two fast runningbacks (Lawrence Maroney & Joseph Addai).
Both QB's are amazingly good but in my opinion Manning is better. In my opinion Brady has always been on the better team, better o line, defense, etc, and now the newest argument is that Brady's team goes 11-5 wtihout him Manning's team goes 2-14. Now does that mean that Brady isn't good, hell no he is one of the best all time. If I had to do a top 5 QB ranking of all time manning would be 2 or 3 and Brady would probably be 4 or 5.
@richgannonrocks Great analysis of 2 all-time great QBs. I agree with you entirely, except that it is difficult to put them in the 2 and 3 slots. In recent history, it's so easy to think of the greats that we've been so used to seeing in today's game. But when it comes to all-time greatest, it's easy to forget just how great Johnny Unitas, Joe Montana, and John Elway were in their day. It could be measured with career stats, championships, leadership, 4th quarter comebacks, all of the above
@TRChamp08 That's a very good point and i agree completely, i think you have to measure QB's by if they put up good numbers in the regular season, if they do well in the playoffs, is it the team thats good or the QB that makes them good (To make if fair for great QB's who struggled on bad teams), do you beat good teams in the playoffs and regular season, and of course are you clutch when it matters most. What's your list of the top 5 QB's of all time?
@richgannonrocks Good talks here with you. It's nice to talk football with someone who knows the game well. My all-time greatest QB is Rich "loose" Gannon..LOL Just kidding. But he was on my Fantasy team for 3 or 4 years, and he did indeed rock! My all-time elite 8 is "Great" QB list is of course arguable, but is based on the points that we both have made. #1 Johnny Unitas #2 Joe Montana #3 Tom Brady #4 John Elway # 5 Peyton Manning #6 Roger Staubach #7 Fran Tarkenton #8 Sammy Baugh
@richgannonrocks Good list for sure! I didn't mean to exclude Dan Marino, because if that guy ever had a running game and a great defense, he would have won Super Bowls. Much like with Peyton Manning; if he had Marshall Faulk and a great defense, he would have won more Super Bowls than just the 1 that he has. Len Dawson definitely deserves recognition as one of the all-time greats too. Terry Bradshaw has 4 Super Bowls, but it was the Steelers teams moreso than Bradshaw's greatness.
@letsgobuffalobills I'm a Giants fan who happens to be one of the Bills biggest defenders after they lost 4 straight Super Bowls. At the Youtube site "Super Bowl XXV Part 14 1991 (Full Game)" you'll see my full comment. There I told the idiot who mocked the Bills "Any team that can make it to the Super Bowl 4 straight years deserves some credit." That being said, they owned the AFC east at that time. But my opinion is unchanged. Give Marino a Thurman Thomas and a "D" and he would have rings
@richgannonrocks Ha Ha! That's funny I was going to say that you're like my clone also. We do think very much alike. Just to share something interesting; I once worked with a guy who was just like Archie Bunker..very opinionated and stubborn. He measured greatness on Championships won, only! He shot down Marino, Tarkenton, Dan Fouts, Bert Jones, Jim Kelly, Archie Manning, and Kenny Anderson. I said to him that Mark Rypien, Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson and Jeff Hostetler are no way better.
@TRChamp08 That's very true I mean championships are important but they certainly don't measure everything in a QB like you said those four jerk-offs won superbowls but they were never that great, you can even argue the same for terry bradshaw.
@richgannonrocks Don't listen to that "SHSeaglenews" Your all-time elite 8 is great list is about as good as it can get. When I did mine, I knew that it's arguable. Although I have Manning behind Brady only because of Brady being 3-1 in Super Bowl wins and a better head to head record, Manning could be placed higher than Brady because of stats and other reasons. Plus, as great as Tom Brady has been, Joe Montana and Johnny Unitas have plenty of credentials for being placed higher than Brady.
@richgannonrocks im sorry but i disagree, first off MVPs tell everything so obviosly manning wins. superbowl wins are for the team, so thats means almost nothing. Plus montana had a pretty good weapon in jerry rice. Wayne may look like one but its mostly peyton, i mean just look now, wayne did nothing this season
@jamatune22 wayne did plenty with orlovski just painter couldn't throw at all and painter played half the season after orlovski took over any td that was made was orvovski to wayne but i agree peyton made the team
@JimmyRiver311 Montana has one of the better accomplishments in that he threw 0 interceptions in 4 Superbowls, holds the record for most postseason touchdowns, and I believe he also has the record of most post season games (12) of having at least a 100.00 passer rating.
How did the Patriots waste less than 20 seconds when they got the ball back up 6 with 2:23 to go? What were they doing, trying to pass the ball? Just run and eat the clock!
@jd6735 I agree with you 100%. The Colts have had one of the worst run defenses in football for several years now. They should have been running late in the game. The decision to pass instead of run was even more of a coaching blunder than the 4th and 2 gamble. All I hear about with the Colts D is Mathis and Freeney are dominant pass rushers and cause turnovers. Well while they're going for the sack, the middle is exposed to the run. Just ask guys like Darren Sproles and Arian Foster.
@Drybones195 My point was that you can't knock Peyton for having terrible teams. Peyton and Brady are both top 5 QBs all time but Brady had significantly more success because the Patriots are a considerably better organization than the Colts. The Patriots do a great job in talent evaluation, FA signings, and have excellent personnel. The Colts on the other hand usually miss on picks (Glenn, Gonzalez, Brown, etc.), never get key FAs, and have a terrible coaching staff.
@Drybones195 Peyton also had to play with Brandon Stokely, Marcus Pollard, Javarris James, Donald Brown, Blair White, Anthony Gonzalez, Garcon (who is definately not a great player by any means), Walters, a terrible O Line (Having one good player doesn't make it good), a bottom 5 run defense for 9 out of 10 years and a bottom 10 pass defense for 8 out of 10 years. Every team has a few of good players. Not every team has as many bad players to coincide with the good like the Colts
@DGNManiac008 ever heard of a team called the Cincinnati Bengals? how many good players have they had? the colts are one of the more talented teams in the league
@Drybones195 When they win only 2 games despite losing just 1 player and having everyone else healthy (Garcon, Collie, Addai, and the O Line were all there and Clark missed 6 fewer games), it is clear that they are not one of the more talented teams. Freeney and Mathis look unbeatable when they have a lead and just have to run the passer but when they're playing from behind, they become average. Peyton makes everyone look better and that's why you think that team is so talented.
@Drybones195 If the Colts have so many quality players that you so kindly listed for us, how did they win only 2 games? Freeneyr, Mathis, Wayne, Clark, Collie, Garcon, Saturday plus Angerer who played better than Brackett composed the same corps of skill players that were in the super bowl 2 years ago. Even if Peyton was worth 5 wins they still should have won 6 or so games. They didn't because the entire team is not that good. They look good because Peyton covered up their flaws
@Drybones195 No expected those guys to lead them to the playoffs but when the skill players are not injured that team should at least win 5-7 games if they have the talent that you think they have.
@Drybones195 yeah tell aaron rodgers and dree bress that they had the most stats and the highest qb rating but fell short of the playoffs once your in the playoffs records ratings and stats dont mean shit
how many people do you think left home when it was 4 minutes left and the patriots were up and then got home and freaked out because the colts won? it happened to me :x
@mscffp Absolutely! It's not even like there's the slightest question about it. Other better comebacks than this Colts comeback are: 1980 49ers trailing the Saints 35-7, and winning 38-35. 1972 Cowboys trailing the 49ers 28-13 with barely more than 3 mins. to play, and winning 30-28. In 2000, the Jets down 30-7 to Miami at start of 4th quarter, and winning 40-37 in OT. The 2003 Colts down 35-14 to TB with 5 mins. left, and winning 38-35 in OT. Any Colts fan has to know that one is better
@TRChamp08 i dont disagree that this might not be the best comeback ever but to say that any colts fan knows the tampa bay comeback is better is insane. This was an afc championship game against our arch rival new england, it was the largest deficit overcome in an afc championship game and sent us to the superbowl, how is the tampa bay game better?
@pwnsince92 First off, this video is not the AFC Championship Game from 2006. But now that you've mentioned that, I'll say that emotions run high in a game of that magnitude. The Colts overcame a 21-3 halftime deficit to win 38-34. A huge comeback indeed in a game that sent them to the Super Bowl. That one is better than this video of the 2009 game. But what I said about the Tampa Bay game was to say that they scored 3 TDS in the final 5 mins. against the league's #1 defense, and won in OT.
I wish people would quit saying manning is the colts i don't think he is the colts I think he makes them way better but I just think the reason they arent winning is because the second string sucks ass
@KindOfimportant1100 Yes, they didn't have a good backup. However, for years Manning's passing has neatly disguised one of the worst run defenses in the NFL, an average pass D, and a less than spectacular running game. The truth has been for several years, the COLTS haven't been that good. Manning's passing has won games by scores like 38-31 and 35-24. By outgunning opponents, it's padding their wins, otherwise they'd be an 8-8 team. Why only 1 Super Bowl ring? Bad D, mediocre running.
Jesus christ. Reggie on that last touchdown got away with one of the most obvious push-offs I've ever seen, and this is coming from a guy that DESPISES the patriots.
haha i remember the next day there was all kinds of speculation on ESPN as to what Belichick was thinking going for it on 4th and 2 and how it was disrespectful the Patriot D.
@awrawrr yeah some of the throws Manning makes are unreal, like that last pass to Wayne, the game-winning touchdown...right on the money, plus he does so much at the line, he is the Colts, no doubt, and definitely his own coordinator
wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo mannnings the man pand s bro u say diff u do not know footballl he always had no defense at all barely a run game and p manning does it all day ,,,,,,,THATS WHT HES BETTER THAN GAYDY

Len Dawson definitely deserves recognition as one of the all-time greats too. Terry Bradshaw has 4 Super Bowls, but it was the Steelers teams moreso than Bradshaw's greatness.
TRChamp08 1 month ago
@TRChamp08 Keep this in mind...there is only ONE reason why Marino only went to ONE Super Bowl....that would be ... The Buffalo Bills.
Buffalo ENDED the rest of Miami's attempts in the playoffs.
letsgobuffalobills 1 month ago
@letsgobuffalobills I'm a Giants fan who happens to be one of the Bills biggest defenders after they lost 4 straight Super Bowls. At the Youtube site "Super Bowl XXV Part 14 1991 (Full Game)" you'll see my full comment. There I told the idiot who mocked the Bills "Any team that can make it to the Super Bowl 4 straight years deserves some credit." That being said, they owned the AFC east at that time. But my opinion is unchanged. Give Marino a Thurman Thomas and a "D" and he would have rings

@TRChamp08 Damn dude youre like my clone haha that's what I always say
richgannonrocks 1 month ago
@richgannonrocks Ha Ha! That's funny I was going to say that you're like my clone also. We do think very much alike. Just to share something interesting; I once worked with a guy who was just like Archie Bunker..very opinionated and stubborn. He measured greatness on Championships won, only! He shot down Marino, Tarkenton, Dan Fouts, Bert Jones, Jim Kelly, Archie Manning, and Kenny Anderson. I said to him that Mark Rypien, Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson and Jeff Hostetler are no way better.
TRChamp08 1 month ago
@TRChamp08 That's very true I mean championships are important but they certainly don't measure everything in a QB like you said those four jerk-offs won superbowls but they were never that great, you can even argue the same for terry bradshaw.
richgannonrocks 1 month ago
@richgannonrocks are you high how can you put peyton at #2? or anyone else in front of Brady for that matter
SHSeaglenews 1 month ago
@richgannonrocks Don't listen to that "SHSeaglenews" Your all-time elite 8 is great list is about as good as it can get. When I did mine, I knew that it's arguable. Although I have Manning behind Brady only because of Brady being 3-1 in Super Bowl wins and a better head to head record, Manning could be placed higher than Brady because of stats and other reasons. Plus, as great as Tom Brady has been, Joe Montana and Johnny Unitas have plenty of credentials for being placed higher than Brady.
TRChamp08 1 month ago
@richgannonrocks im sorry but i disagree, first off MVPs tell everything so obviosly manning wins. superbowl wins are for the team, so thats means almost nothing. Plus montana had a pretty good weapon in jerry rice. Wayne may look like one but its mostly peyton, i mean just look now, wayne did nothing this season
jamatune22 1 month ago
@jamatune22 wayne did plenty with orlovski just painter couldn't throw at all and painter played half the season after orlovski took over any td that was made was orvovski to wayne but i agree peyton made the team

@JimmyRiver311 Montana has one of the better accomplishments in that he threw 0 interceptions in 4 Superbowls, holds the record for most postseason touchdowns, and I believe he also has the record of most post season games (12) of having at least a 100.00 passer rating.
ToshiroMifuneSan 1 month ago
both qbs are unreal bout both defenses are total turds. there have been countless better games any given Sunday.
OettingerCroat 1 month ago
How did the Patriots waste less than 20 seconds when they got the ball back up 6 with 2:23 to go? What were they doing, trying to pass the ball? Just run and eat the clock!
jd6735 1 month ago
@jd6735 I agree with you 100%. The Colts have had one of the worst run defenses in football for several years now. They should have been running late in the game. The decision to pass instead of run was even more of a coaching blunder than the 4th and 2 gamble. All I hear about with the Colts D is Mathis and Freeney are dominant pass rushers and cause turnovers. Well while they're going for the sack, the middle is exposed to the run. Just ask guys like Darren Sproles and Arian Foster.

DGNManiac008 4 weeks ago
@DGNManiac008 Brady = 3 rings, 5 super bowl appearances
Manning = 1 super bowl win, 2 appearances
Anyways, you tell me, what gets you to the Super Bowl, QB rating or wins?
Drybones195 4 weeks ago
@Drybones195 My point was that you can't knock Peyton for having terrible teams. Peyton and Brady are both top 5 QBs all time but Brady had significantly more success because the Patriots are a considerably better organization than the Colts. The Patriots do a great job in talent evaluation, FA signings, and have excellent personnel. The Colts on the other hand usually miss on picks (Glenn, Gonzalez, Brown, etc.), never get key FAs, and have a terrible coaching staff.
DGNManiac008 4 weeks ago
@DGNManiac008 Dallas Clark, Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Pierre Garcon, Dwight Freeney, Robert Mathis, Kelvin Hayden, Jeff Saturday.
The Colts have PLENTY of talent, your argument is INVALID.
Drybones195 4 weeks ago
@Drybones195 Peyton also had to play with Brandon Stokely, Marcus Pollard, Javarris James, Donald Brown, Blair White, Anthony Gonzalez, Garcon (who is definately not a great player by any means), Walters, a terrible O Line (Having one good player doesn't make it good), a bottom 5 run defense for 9 out of 10 years and a bottom 10 pass defense for 8 out of 10 years. Every team has a few of good players. Not every team has as many bad players to coincide with the good like the Colts
DGNManiac008 4 weeks ago
@DGNManiac008 ever heard of a team called the Cincinnati Bengals? how many good players have they had? the colts are one of the more talented teams in the league
Drybones195 4 weeks ago
@Drybones195 When they win only 2 games despite losing just 1 player and having everyone else healthy (Garcon, Collie, Addai, and the O Line were all there and Clark missed 6 fewer games), it is clear that they are not one of the more talented teams. Freeney and Mathis look unbeatable when they have a lead and just have to run the passer but when they're playing from behind, they become average. Peyton makes everyone look better and that's why you think that team is so talented.
DGNManiac008 4 weeks ago
@DGNManiac008 you tell me, who was taking snaps for the colts?
they had no LEGIT backup QB. If the offense cant score points and goes three and out and gives the defense bad field position, the defense suffers.
Drybones195 4 weeks ago
@Drybones195 If the Colts have so many quality players that you so kindly listed for us, how did they win only 2 games? Freeneyr, Mathis, Wayne, Clark, Collie, Garcon, Saturday plus Angerer who played better than Brackett composed the same corps of skill players that were in the super bowl 2 years ago. Even if Peyton was worth 5 wins they still should have won 6 or so games. They didn't because the entire team is not that good. They look good because Peyton covered up their flaws
DGNManiac008 4 weeks ago
@DGNManiac008 When Kerry Collns, Dan Orlovsky, and Curtis Painter are taking snaps for your team, you're not going to win many games.
Drybones195 3 weeks ago
@Drybones195 No expected those guys to lead them to the playoffs but when the skill players are not injured that team should at least win 5-7 games if they have the talent that you think they have.
DGNManiac008 3 weeks ago
@DGNManiac008 when the offense cant produce, the defense suffers
Drybones195 3 weeks ago

Far from the best comeback ever. Check the 1993 Buffalo Bills vs Houston Oilers. That is the documented BEST comeback.
mscffp 1 month ago
TRChamp08 1 month ago
@TRChamp08 i dont disagree that this might not be the best comeback ever but to say that any colts fan knows the tampa bay comeback is better is insane. This was an afc championship game against our arch rival new england, it was the largest deficit overcome in an afc championship game and sent us to the superbowl, how is the tampa bay game better?
pwnsince92 1 month ago

KindOfimportant1100 2 months ago
@KindOfimportant1100 Yes, they didn't have a good backup. However, for years Manning's passing has neatly disguised one of the worst run defenses in the NFL, an average pass D, and a less than spectacular running game. The truth has been for several years, the COLTS haven't been that good. Manning's passing has won games by scores like 38-31 and 35-24. By outgunning opponents, it's padding their wins, otherwise they'd be an 8-8 team. Why only 1 Super Bowl ring? Bad D, mediocre running.
TRChamp08 2 months ago
Jesus christ. Reggie on that last touchdown got away with one of the most obvious push-offs I've ever seen, and this is coming from a guy that DESPISES the patriots.
