Freefall, by definition, means no structural resistance AT ALL. So why is it that Richard Gage and his cronies do not talk abut the distributions of steel and concrete in the towers. Don't skyscrapers have to hold themselves up? Doesn't gravity work the same way all over the planet. Shouldn't the distributions be pretty similar among all really tall buildings?

By "gravitational" destruction below I obviously refer to the claim that parts of the building destroyed other parts. Such destruction would have taken time and thereby would not have progressed in free fall, during which no destruction can take place. Simple physics, which conforms to controlled demolition, in which some (obviously, not all) of a building's floors are removed by explosives. In the case of WTC 7, the number of removed floors appears to have been 8.
Regardless of the origin of the office fires - fires that, according to NIST's earlier report (as shown by chrissarns below) had burned out well before the onset of the destruction in the area where NIST later claimed the heat started the collapse - no random fires can result in a perfect controlled demolition. Simple question to OCT believers: what can cause a 2.25 second freefall over the span of 8 floors, as acknowledged by NIST, considering that "gravitatioonal" destruction takes time?
The fire that supposedly started the collapse had burned out over an hour before the collapse. NIST stated in their 2004 preliminary report on pg 26, that they had a photo showing that the fire on floor 12 had burned out by about 4:45 pm. @ ctcole77 Most of Hanjour's instructors said he was a horrible pilot. Though he had "some ability", even professional pilots have said they couldn't perform the maneuvre to hit the building at near ground level with the speed observed. Same with WTC maneuvers: a number of professional pilots tried that in a flight simulator and almost always failed (the towers were narrow targets considering the recorded speeds). P.S. No wonder: it matches a highly skilled controlled demolition; the research material was destroyed before investigation began; and NIST had to acknowledge a 2.25-second freefall, meaning that there was ZERO structural resistance in the span of 8 floors. @ctcole77 First, google "People with demolition expertise questioning 9/11". Lots of demo professionals agree that what matches a highly skilled controlled demo can only be one. No wires needed for controlled demolition nowadays (duh!), and WTC occupants HAVE testified about strange construction in the weeks before 9/11. Planes: probably remotely controlled (maneuvres exceeded professional pilots' skills). Northwoods was a PLAN; e.g. Operation Gladio and Gulf of Tonkin were actual false flags.

Don't forget that the final official explanation for WTC 7 says that fires alone were enough to level it to a compact piece of debris, floor by floor into its footprint. (as in a perfect controlled demolition)

Building 7 came down without being hit, that was ignored. If you see the core columns at the bottom after the demoltion, their cut at an angle which is how columns are cut during a demolition to bring the building down. littlefires on 2 floors wernt hot enough to melt the structure of building 7 and bring it down in that way, freefalling into its footprint. The OS says that steel was weakened by heat, not "melted", 7's footprint doesn't include the Verizon Building or the roof of Fiterman Hall, which were across the street from it in two separate directions, it's only freefall if you ignore the E. Penthouse, and even trained metallurgists can't recognize molten iron by sight.

Thermite burns slowly and chaotically, and the bad guys would need split-second timing. That leaves explosives, which would be loud enough to cause hearing damage as far as a half-mile away. There were survivors IN the towers who didn't hear it.

Most of them cannot be answered by any truther, on account of being physically impossible, yet the "truth-seekers" won't even try. @WarCrime911 Starting with the fact that thermite-or thermate, or nano-thermite-is unreliable, conspicuous, and relatively slow, and any explosives strong enough to do the job would cause blast injuries. There were people *inside* the towers who didn't hear said explosions, and were pretty much safe. Also, said explosives would be audible up to a mile. That's thousands of people and just about every news camera with a mike on the scene, and a good way off.

For the buildings to collapse like that the core columns must of been cut simultaneously, under the wreckage the core colums were cut which they shouldnt have been if the government were right, they were cut at an angle which is how they are cut during demoltions and molten iron was on them which is made by thermite.
The other thing that is hilarious here, is that every time he is asked about how impossible it is for explosives to be planted beforehand, how he doesn't have a real answer and simply says: "there were elevator renovations going on in the time period leading up to the attacks", which doesn't mean that Al-Qaeda couldn't have penetrated the vulnerable buildings and planted explosives. The other thing, is that it would have taken individual explosives, literally weighing tons to accomplish this.

If Richard Gage and others say the buildings were brought down by controlled demolition then they are reaching that conclusion without the investigation they are asking for. They are also reaching that conclusion without the data they would need to come to that conclusion, i.e an examination of the buildings before they collapsed, data they would insist on getting if they were asked to sign off on the buildings being safe.

Why would the buildings 1,2 and 3 (3 not even being hit by a plane) collapse through the path of greatest resistance at near free fall into its own footprint. Freefall, by definition, means no structural resistance AT ALL. By "gravitational" destruction below I obviously refer to the claim that parts of the building destroyed other parts. Such destruction would have taken time and thereby would not have progressed in free fall, during which no destruction can take place. Simple physics, which conforms to controlled demolition, in which some (obviously, not all) of a building's floors are removed by explosives. In the case of WTC 7, the number of removed floors appears to have been 8.

Regardless of the origin of the office fires - fires that, according to NIST's earlier report (as shown by chrissarns below) had burned out well before the onset of the destruction in the area where NIST later claimed the heat started the collapse - no random fires can result in a perfect controlled demolition. The fire that supposedly started the collapse had burned out over an hour before the collapse. NIST stated in their 2004 preliminary report on pg 26, that they had a photo showing that the fire on floor 12 had burned out by about 4:45 pm. Though he had "some ability", even professional pilots have said they couldn't perform the maneuvre to hit the building at near ground level with the speed observed. Same with WTC maneuvers: a number of professional pilots tried that in a flight simulator and almost always failed (the towers were narrow targets considering the recorded speeds). P.S. The recent Siena poll shows about half of New Yorkers wanting a new investigation into WTC 7. No wonder: it matches a highly skilled controlled demolition; the research material was destroyed before investigation began; and NIST had to acknowledge a 2.25-second freefall, meaning that there was ZERO structural resistance in the span of 8 floors. Zero resistance means NO crushing of structures, which a "natural" collapse would require. In a CD, SOME of the floors are always removed by explosives.

@ctcole77 First, google "People with demolition expertise questioning 9/11". Lots of demo professionals agree that what matches a highly skilled controlled demo can only be one. No wires needed for controlled demolition nowadays (duh!), and WTC occupants HAVE testified about strange construction in the weeks before 9/11. Planes: probably remotely controlled (maneuvres exceeded professional pilots' skills). Northwoods was a PLAN; e.g. Operation Gladio and Gulf of Tonkin were actual false flags.

Google "People with demolition expertise questioning 9/11". Don't forget that the final official explanation for WTC 7 says that fires alone were enough to level it to a compact piece of debris, floor by floor into its footprint. (as in a perfect controlled demolition)

But no random damage - be that from office fires or from debris - could ever mimic a perfect controlled demolition. Otherwise we'd not need the VERY expensive services of CD companies. Setting up fires, optionally complemented by random damage to one facade, would do the trick.

@ctcole77 Random damage to a building cannot produce what matches a perfect controlled demo. Moreover, in its final 2008 report NIST explained WTC 7's demise by office fires alone. The alleged, but never clearly documented, south side damage and the diesel fuel were forgotten. NIST claimed that the fires caused an "unprecedented event": thermal expansion of a central column - no 79 - which failed, after which all the other 80 columns also suddenly failed (NIST doesn't explain how that happened).

If you see the core columns at the bottom after the demoltion, their cut at an angle which is how columns are cut during a demolition to bring the building down. littlefires on 2 floors wernt hot enough to melt the structure of building 7 and bring it down in that way, freefalling into its footprint. The OS says that steel was weakened by heat, not "melted", 7's footprint doesn't include the Verizon Building or the roof of Fiterman Hall, which were across the street from it in two separate directions, it's only freefall if you ignore the E. Penthouse, and even trained metallurgists can't recognize molten iron by sight.

For the buildings to collapse like that the core columns must of been cut simultaneously, under the wreckage the core colums were cut which they shouldnt have been if the government were right, they were cut at an angle which is how they are cut during demoltions and molten iron was on them which is made by thermite.

The other thing that is hilarious here, is that every time he is asked about how impossible it is for explosives to be planted beforehand, how he doesn't have a real answer and simply says: "there were elevator renovations going on in the time period leading up to the attacks", which doesn't mean that Al-Qaeda couldn't have penetrated the vulnerable buildings and planted explosives. The metallurgy showed the steel failed from a "Rapid Erosion event" (Not melted, not explosives.. FIRE!!). The chief of the FDNY was standing in front of it when it went. No detonations.. no explosions it simply dropped. And they were ready for it..

@TylerDurdenMakesSoap You do!!! Go and watch NOVA'S how the towers collapsed. When the top portion of the building lets go the core columns remain standing (go check it out!!). And the building does not fail at the core. It fails at the outer wall. A line of flooring is yanking on the outer wall and buckling it inward (almost a foot). It fails all at once and you can see this in videos. Once the flooring is gone the outer wall crumples like cardboard.

It is great to see a main stream news station running a segment on this, thanks TVNZ. All this movement needs is more exposure by the media. Without even looking at the inevitability of who's responsible, how come it is so difficult for the media to present these scientific facts? You have over 1400 architects and engineers, as well as chemists, controlled demolition experts all supplying evidence that the buildings could only be brought down by controlled demolition, not by fire.

They would put a bid for the work and go through an extensive negotiation with the Port Authority, with ever clause of the contract being scrutinised. Richard Gage seems to think that people just turn up with hardhats and overalls and do an elevator upgrade. The fact that these people were there doing this >>

@cwlldoran work actually points away from the idea of anyone being able to plant explosives in the building- unless Mr. Gage is saying that the workers from this company were planting explosives while they were upgrading the lift system. The steel from the building was examined by numerous experts during the investigation. There was an aircraft hanger full of pieces of steel from the WTC towers in JFK for years after 911 and a judge had to sign off on thier release.

Evidence has been supplied by the 1,412 verified architectural and engineering professionals of Architects and Engineers for 9/11 truth of controlled demolition. The science does not lie. This evidence warrants a truly independent investigation in which then they can then deal with how the explosives got into the building. Why select this one component to argue as it is not one of AE911Truth arguments, merely a possibility.

@matPolaschek Mr. Gage was asked how the explosives could be placed in a busy office building and he suggested that an elevator upgrade -by a particular named company - was how it could be done, with the collusion of the people on security in the building. I'm suggesting that is a highly implausible (as are most of his arguments). Am I not allowed to make that argument? How is my argument 'redundant' but his is ok - because he's Richard Gage?

Instead, you are trying to deflect to more speculative subjects, how & why. An investigation would uncover how, and who had access to the building. Maybe start with Marvin Bush of Securacom. What you can't argue is the abundance of scientific fact that supports controlled demolition, i think that deserves an independent investigation.

@matPolaschek An investigation is a process of assessing evidence. If Richard Gage and others say the buildings were brought down by controlled demolition then they are reaching that conclusion without the investigation they are asking for. They are also reaching that conclusion without the data they would need to come to that conclusion, i.e an examination of the buildings before they collapsed, data they would insist on getting if they were asked to sign off on the buildings being safe.

Just because something looks a certain way from one angle, and ignoring information (the fires engulfing the building all day), doesn't mean it is. The sun looks like it orbits the earth, doesn't mean it does. Structural experts explained how this happened years ago.

Furthermore, NIST states their own model only has a 'low probability' of occurring. Furthermore, it is fact they have ejected very significant information, such as people hearing explosions, molten metal out of the sides of the buildings and at the bases, flashes occurring before the collapse.
