Kid's what? Fourteen? Of course he's behaving like a jerk. All fourteen year olds behave like jerks. He's got enough of a clue to do some video editing. Not very good video editing, but what do you expect? And there's even a little bit - only a little bit - of actual wit. Not much, and he thinks it's a lot funnier than it is, but hey. It's a start. At fourteen, I started writing the world's worst novel. You grow up. That's how it is.
The video you refer to, is the one where he realized he was being interviewed by two creationist weirdos, as creationists are the only ones who ever ask the question about "increased information". That was the reason he was a bit disappointed, he found out he was wasting time talking to creationists of all people. One example of the thing they asked him, by the way: *Down's Syndrom* Just one example of a mutation leading to an increase in information. But it's an uninteresting question anyway.:)
At least he doesn't actually BELIEVE in Thor. Have you seen the number of times the asshole loser presidential candidates mentioned 'god' and 'jesus'? I'd laugh at them if they weren't so scary. Keep believin' them fairy tales, kid.
Interesting - that same science that has made it possible for you to make that video and post it on YouTube is the exact same science that humanity has used to push back the frontiers of human knowledge and to not just believe was written by different people thousands of year ago...
Evolution has nothing to do with science. If you want to believe that we all came from a rock 4.6 Billion years ago, go right ahead, but don't call it science. It's a religion supported by taxpayers.
1. Evolution isn't a religion, it is a theory, much like the theory of gravity or the germ theory of disease.
2. Religions are also supported by the taxpayers. Under the current administration in the US, "faith based" organizations have recieved unprecidented funding fron the federal government.
The theory of gravity and the germ theory are testable observable phenomena. The faith-based initiatives aren't meant to teach people you're religion. They're specific programs designed to tackle specific issues.
Faith based inititatves are not supposed to teach religion, in fact there are laws specifically written to prevent this, but they do. If we look at faith based initiatives imposed on the state of Texas by Governor GW Bush we see:
The Texas Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse found that "Teen Challenge," a residential drug treatment program, stated that its mission was "to evangelize people."
Another program "Jobs Partnership" had a stated mission of helping clients "find employment through a relationship with Jesus Christ." The group's budget and curriculum show that $8,000 of state money was used to buy Bibles.
That faith based initiatives are not supposed to teach religion is common knowledge, but if you would like to look it up, check out the faith based community initiative website. The information on "Teen Challenge," is from a report published by the Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse in the State of Texas. The information on "Jobs Partnership" is from
"American Jewish Congress v. Bost" which was a court case in Texas from I think 2002.
"Dr. Dino" is an idiot and a fraud, while Richard Dawkins is a brilliant biologist... lets see.... more credibility... the Atheist and brilliant biologist, or the creationist who thinks a snake can talk, and the guy with a phD from a nonaccredited school....
I thought you were inspired with some of the great editing work,5/5 stars, also,Dawkins was in B'ham recently and his last point was that humans should rise above the dreadfulness of evolution by wearing condoms!
Please save this video so you can look back on it when you are about thirty years old. I am sure you will find it even more amusing. Only then you will realize little boys know nothing about religion -- or life for that matter.

I am Thor's creator, who himself created heaven, hell, and earth.
You must believe in me, I order it.
I need someone to write a bible which will honor me.
Believe in me, and you will be saved.
Don't believe in me, and I'll make spaghettis with you.
You are warned!

Dawkins does sort of use Thor too often. Someone needs to get him an archaic deity rolodex.
fairuse69 4 years ago 2
I think that is because most everybody know who Thor is. If he were to use a more obscure god, no one would understand what he was talking about.

Well if this is a video about showing off editing, it still gets 1/5.
I cannot help but think your point about Dawkins is either made up or a twisted version of something which could have been funny.
In any interpretation of what you think he said, it's much better than the "every sperm is needed" attitude of the Catholics!
