First off, the Democrats took control of Congres & Senate (the ones who control the spending) in 2006. The changes after 2006: Unemployment went from 4.4 to 7.6; gas went from $2.32/gal to over $4/gal.; house sales were at record highs to foreclosures getting to record highs. Since Obama's been president, unemployment went to over 10 & hasn't been below 9.4, foreclosures hit 2 NEW record highs!

It's midterms, history shows that most registered voters don't vote compared to the less important presidential "general" election, this is why we have a failed congress and always will unless everyone gets out to vote. Other problems are many party candidates run unopposed, no majority is required to win and third party candidates have a whole different set of rules if they wish to run. No matter how you look at it, we're screwed. The reason I say this is because who are you going to vote for? A corrupt Democrat or corrupt Republican? I want nothing to do with these nut jobs "speaking" for the American people because your not.

in a world where people can get instant everything, they still think that the most difficult problems have the same kinds of instant solutions. the right kind of progress takes time. when grown men and women want to behave as children and get in the way of progress, then the people for progress need to unite. im so tired of these "instant" progressives turning tail and jumping ship. look at the big picture. libs of today lose heart so fast because of hurt feelings. buck up and have patience.

our family business is actually picking up, so much that we are turning work away. We tried to get a loan for a new building(tired of renting) and several banks turned us down. they told us we would have to prove our current stability over the next three years.
