  • @feministsAreCorrupt,

You are spot on, these feminists are destroying today's society.

  • The Domestic violence industry is running at full steam. Little is said about the fact that men and women commit domestic violence at the same rates while women easily exceed men in violence against children. That's no surprise, because women, not the pedophile on every street corner, spend more time with children, be it a mother or a female child care attendant.

  • This ad should have been banned because it is sexist towards men.

  • truthhitmanisback, you are talking about a totally separate issue to DOMESTIC ABUSE. Stop undermining the fact that so many women are suffering, mentally and physically. And it's not laziness that stops women leaving... perhaps fear for their lives and that of their children, which may be being threatened if they dare leave? What if everybody they turn to for help is ignorant and just rants on about women in Iraq - is that going to help, or just lead them straight back to danger?

  • Domestic abuse is horrible to watch. No-one neither man or woman needs to go through that. So instead of sitting there and accusing one gender being more quilty than the other, get of ur lazy arse and DO SOMETHING ABOUT!! God.

  • wow....is it just me or does truthhitmanisback seem to really dislike women, I know that there is ugliness in the world, this add just shows one of them that needs changing. Everyone is capable of horrible things wether it be men or women.

  • Like women in Iraq who are GUILTY of murder and torture, and White Supremacy. Women in prisons that YOU seem to ignore. Women are in there for killing their husbands for money.... In there for killing their own babies.

  • Women chose to join the army to prove they can be Just as voilent as men. There are a lot of women in prison for murder, on men, babies, and other women. You have ones who just wanna be with a ganster. They even did a show called BNP wives !!!

  • you really have some problems just because people advocate for something that is wrong doesn't mean there is nothing else wrong in the world. You really need to shut your mouth and pay attention rather than running your mouth on something that you know nothing about.

  • Even white women used to threaten black men to sleep with them during slavery, in the 30s,40s, and 50s, even as late as the 1960s. And if she got caught she would cry rape to protect her white honour. The innocent black man, or boy, in a lot of cases, would be LYNCHED ! Or burned alive. Women take cocain while they are pregnant, some smoke skunk, and drink alcohol. Its a fact that some still continue with their prostitution while pregnant. But they blame everything on MEN. No responsibility

  • There are women who are guilty of killing babies, and tourturing people in Iraq. There have been police women who are guilty of joinning in with their racist police man , and causing Murder in police custody. If women were stronger than men they would be voilent towards men, this is one of the reasons why they cause domestic voilence on children. They fuck Just for pleasure and bread recklessly causing gangs on the streets. Some do it Just to get a flat. They are incharge of their legs.

  • You show men beating and raping women in movies and TV shows with no consequences, but when you come out with an ad showing the same thing but advocating against it it gets banned?? Really, there is so much sickness in our media and this is supposed to be too much for us to handle...Good God.

  • NEW MUSIC VIDEO ABOUT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE...if you allow him...check it out

  • i cannot believe they banned that ad, i really can't

  • i know what you mean, they show child abuse one's why not adult abuse ones?

  • Women need to know theres support out there for them, when ads like this have been banned from TV how are they suppose know?

  • agreed!!

  • still having flashbacks after 30years life is never the same again, the guilt i still feel at seeing my child traumatised ,will never leave me they,re the most innocent victims, having to watch their loving father beat their mother within an inch of her life whenever or wherever,,,,TERROR AT THE DOOR ,

  • I wouldn't teach her anything. I'd just beat the crap out of the man.

  • I looooove Keira Knightley! If she was my woman, I would teach her self defense in Chinese kung fu. Then no man would lay a hand on her

  • teach your mum some chinese kung fu

  • if someone slaps you, slap um back or just get away from that person!! dont stay around and noone will be able to be slapped

  • That's easier said than done. Women who do have the nerve to walk away usually have to file a restraining order and those don't do shit. Guys like this just keep coming and most women wind up dead from this kind of abuse even when they try to run. You think someone with this kind of problem would just let her walk away?

  • I agree. Restraining orders don't do anything but make the violence worse and a lot of the time end in death.

  • @34Chelsea34

I'm sorry, run that one past me again? "Most" women wind up dead from what? So, while you're busy running your mouth about wild assertions that are based on the idiotic projections the media feeds you, how many relationships that have altercations, do you actually imagine are defined by the nerfarious garbage Knightly is peddling?

  • yes because escaping someone like that is easy!

  • I don't care how old this comment is. Are you serious? I've been there with stepfathers, and when they are twice your size and strength it is NOT easy. Wait until you experience domestic violence yourself until you talk about how "easy" it is to get away.

  • I don't even remember making that post now but I can tell I was being sarcastic.

  • easer said than done, and you can't really say that unless you've been in that situation. the more you fule the abuser the angrier they get. i ended up in a womens refuge to hide from my abuser and that was over 19 years ago. theree was no support back then, even police couldn't get involved

  • it's a much more difficult and complex issue than just getting away from the person and slapping them back. There's a lot of feelings of guilt, vulnerability, shame, and weakness involved. There's also a feeling of dependency involved towards the abuser, financially or for the kids, etc. What victims, of either gender, need is help and understanding., not criticism.

  • husbands and boyfriends are supposed to love and protect you, not be the ones to hurt you. something needs to stop and i don't care what anyone says, domestic violence CAN come to an end if enough people try

  • @taylorswiftrox59 That's a very sexist comment.

  • @StinkyKnobcheese

How the heck is that a sexist comment? So you think that husbands shouldn't protect their wives?

  • @taylorswiftrox59 You specifically said that husbands shouldn't hit their wives. Inferring that only men do it. Therefore, sexist.

  • @StinkyKnobcheese

I said that because this video features a man beating a woman. 86%

of domestic violence ctimes are against women. Besides, men are

stronger than women in almost all cases. A man can do much

worse damage to a woman than a woman can to a man.

  • @taylorswiftrox59 Atudy after study show that women commit 50% of domestic violence, not 24%. Just because someone is stronger does not make intent any less.

  • @StinkyKnobcheese don't know here the hell you got that statistic. All the ones i found are either 84 or 86. Besides, maybe the intent is different, but the injury is worse for women.

  • @taylorswiftrox59 Look it up. So by your logic, if a small man murders a big man it's not as bad.

Also if you care to look up the stats you will read that men actually suffer the most serious injuries not women. Women use weapons far more than men.

  • @StinkyKnobcheese

A good place to start defeminizing some of these misguided souls, who have gobbled the hook of self-aggrandizement fed to them by nefarious feminist dirtbags, is to direct them to Happy Misogynists "Women are half the problem" post. Hey, if facts are allowed to be thrown around then "let's look at some, eh?" Funny thing is, his neutral sources can be verified. Uh oh.

  • @taylorswiftrox59

You 86% statistic is complete bullshit. You need to find some sources that are from outside of the media regurgitations, that are generally feminist "factoids" (bullshit we made up) or statistics from WITHIN the "shelter industry" (Translation: Our stats have NO CONTROL GROUP, ergo are false projections onto broader society without comparative male studies who HAVE NO SHELTER INDUSTRY. Ergo, the studies are not empirical scientific studies. Ergo they are BULL-SHIT).

  • @taylorswiftrox59

Here's a good place to start gathering some ACTUAL information:

    watch?v=VOu_BszChIE

Let the deprogramming begin ; )

  • @taylorswiftrox59

Husbands do protect their wives. And the ones that do, are sick to fucking death of the media orchestrating wildly bogus inflations and deceptions about what actually happens in most relationships, at the same time completely absolving women of either their OWN participation in violent exchanges, or INCITEMENT OF violence in relationships. You betcha that women know fulwell, that the idiocy of your ilk drives the stigma that shields them to run their mouths and bait men.

  • fuck you MiamiACR10, has anyone of your family members been a victim of domestic violence. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. PERIOD!!!

  • violence is a part of life it will never stop

  • but domestic violence should, i mean what if somebody in your family was a victim of domestic violence. how would you feel!!

  • yes domestic violence should stop

  • i agree that violence is a part of life, but domestic abuse is an unnecessary, cowardly form of violence that is preventable, and can be stopped.

  • Okay, violence is a instinctive part of human nature, but human beings have the capability to control their impulses. We're not cavemen anymore, we can control our actions and diffuse our violent instincts.

  • Ive never given this a try, but I think its about time I do.

  • Domestic violence against men and women is wrong and should NEVER be tolerated. On some of the other channels posting this ad it's sickening the amount of people laughing at this advert. How would they feel if it happened to them, their mum, dad, brother, sister, daughter or son. Some people are sick in the head!! Well done Keira for doing the ad it's a pity most celebs are too far up their own tail end to think of doing something like this.

  • I agree. I believe domestic violence is serious.

  • y didnt anyone help her?

  • And how else can we stop domestic violence? Befriend neighbors. The more alone we are, the more vulnerable we are. And when you see the bruises, hear the yelling, say something. If your neighbors don't like it, explain it politely. Say you'd rather not let them get robbed or murdered and do nothing, muttering sadly to yourself that it's probably a family matter. Your rental agreement didn't include training to ignore crimes within knocking distance. Men and women are abused. Stop it.

  • And other women can get hit? Just because they don't look like Keira Knightley? Nice AAFlick.

  • obviously the worst an most frequent domestic violence is against women, but people often ignore or ar not aware of domestic violence against men. Its a weird area because a lot of men who get it don't consider it domestic violence even though they're geting hurt and men who are getting hurt get stigma from society. There's too much of a 'be a man' ideology attached to it that doesn't make any sense.

  • That is true. I know woman who have have violent partners (& one who was killed by her husband). I also know a young man who was in a relationship with a violent girlfriend, and he was afraid for his life (she tried to run him over with her car, he had to flee his apartment & stay with a friend). There is this idea that men can't truly be victims of domestic violence, and this makes it harder for them to get help. But women are usually the victims of serious DV.

  • It's quite sad, the humiliation for a man being abused. I suppose the reason there's a more frequent highlight on women is because it's more difficult for us to defend; I'm not afraid to admit that as women we're physically weaker. A man can overpower a woman; a woman can't necessarily overpower a man.

  • But men, it's "you're just a pansy" type thing, and it's sad what society throws at us, men and women alike. Just like how it used to be that "men can't be raped"; I remember reading that it used to be that way a few years ago.

  • you're right, JacobTrue, it's a sick double standard. As a woman, I must say that domestic violence, and in that line, rape is unacceptable no matter what the gender of the victim is.

  • Comment removed

  • I think it is good that some like Kiera Knightly can show what Happens to women who get attacked by their Partner.

  • They did a bad job making it seem like he hit he

  • watch the full ad

    it's actually pretty graphic

  • She's too hot to die! lol

  • omg. he hit her! YOU CANT HIT KERIA KNIGHTLY!
