  • Thanks so much for sharing your experience i am sharing it on my facebook page in hopes that others will be touched as i am.

  • "Jesus the groom and I'm his bride"

    chinaculiacan.

Poor Jesus. Someone must stop this woman cause she is offending Jesus.

"I would have liked to kill Joseph Smith with my own hands"

"I am a Saint a redeemer, Jesus is in me"

    chinaculiacan

How could Jesus be in a potential criminal? Blasphemy!

Also she called me b**h with no reason but she is saying she doesn´t owe nothing to nobody, that she has peace from Jesus.

    Could anyone believe her?

  • Let´s see who is talking about the kingdom of god:

"How does it feel being a b**h and be licking the BOM" THIS IS CHINA, AND YOU SEE THIS PEOPLE? YES I DID SAY THIS TO DORIS, I DON'T DENY IT. I HAVE SAID THIS SO MANY TIMES, I'M NOT DENYING, THIS IS FOR YOU PUBLIC.

  • congrats you traded one insanity for another.

  • She asked to soften her heart against Jesus Christ Church. Everything fell away from her that she learned? We read and teach the new testament all the time. It's my wife and my favorite book of study and everything in it correlates to our faith. This is very suspect to me as the the validity of their claims. Doesn't sound at all right to the way what we believe. We preach of Christ, teach of Christ, we testify of Christ, and I know he is my personal Lord and savior period. I'm a Mormon.

  • @vintageyellow71

Then how did you miss the entire Gospel of Grace as taught by the Stewardship of Paul? By Grace you have been Saved through Faith...NOT OF WORKS? After one is Saved already he will do Good works, which means he will testify unceasingly of The Grace of Christ and the absolute Power of His Blood to free us. Do you read and study the New Testament or do you skip the things you do not understand, when you really you do understand but they contradict what your "prophets" teach?

  • @vintageyellow71 - "I know he is my personal Lord and savior period. I'm a Mormon."

You are so indoctrinated that you can't even see it. You CAN'T be a follower of the Jesus of the Bible and be a mormon in good standing. They are opposing viewpoints. Do some research.

  • That softening of your heart wasn't by god and your heart didn't soften, Satan was fooling you into believing the church isn't true I hope one day you and your husband can find the light again and know the truth once more, and for all the moments bellow I bet half of you don't know your facts ok and stop slagging the past prophet Joseph smith off you have no idea what you are talking about your just basing your stories on a load of rubbish your broken religions tell you that Satan controllable

  • @TheSoulamore

The truth is in God... not a book.

  • @Sk8er408 God said that the truth is in his word. word=book.

  • always sad to see lds couples weaken in the gospel, you either have a testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ or you don't. it's not debateable. Joseph Smith did see God the father and Jesus Christ in a Vision, and translated the gold plates with the power of God, . I beleive the church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints to be the only true church with the Authority from God, upon the face of the earth, The book of Mormon is another Testimony of Jesus Christ.

  • @alayche02 Christ did not come to establish a church, He came to establish a kingdom! John 18:35-37, Yeshua declared he is a king and his kingdom is not of this world. Another Bat.

  • @Chinaculiacan I fail to see the relevance of this comment in regards to a statement of my testimony. my testimony is not debateable it is mine to make. end of story (articles of faith 11.) We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.

  • @alayche02 Articles of faith? how about the bible? you worship the almighty? how? how joseph said you should? by his claims? by his lies? or how how the word of God says we should? Try to find a world setting for the book of mormon, and then try to worship the almighty.

  • @alayche02 For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcome it not as the word of Men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believed. 1 Peter 1:23, having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible seed, through the word of God which lives and abides FOREVER, see, your prophet didn’t believed in this word.

  • @alayche02 and so arrogantly he wrote another book saying Gods word wasn’t true, he didn’t believed this true, so he invested a lie, and posted around the world. Shame on you, and poor you and many other who have believed in this lie, and have their salvation depended on this fantasy. Like i said, find a world setting for the BOM. And wake up. but then again, God is a gantleman and he will not push to believe in his word, you'll say, i believe in his word, but then again, you don't.

  • @Chinaculiacan (and again and for all of your responses forever). I fail to see the relevance of this comment in regards to a statement of my testimony. my testimony is not debateable it is mine to make. end of story (articles of faith 11.) We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may. if you reply, this is my answer. amen

  • @alayche02 Your testifony<, i mean testomony and your articles of faith r balonies when you put your trust in a man who took other men wive and little girls for his wive behind emmas back. u can't avoid your history, is full of holes. Which god do u worship? the 1 Joseph taught?God is increasing in Knowledge Journal of Discourses, Vol 6, p 120; God has a form ofa man (Joseph Smith Journal of Discourses, vol 6, p. 3. Or the one in the bible,oh, try 2 find world setting 4 ur book. Amen

  • @alayche02 Now read PSALM 90:2 and compared it with your prophets teachings, shame on you, and poor you. No body puts my savior second, NO body.

  • @Chinaculiacan (and again and for all of your responses forever). I fail to see the relevance of this comment in regards to a statement of my testimony. my testimony is not debateable it is mine to make. end of story (articles of faith 11.) We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may. if you reply, this is my answer. amen 03

  • Just to be clear there are many members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints who didn't grow up in the Gospel . They had all the so called ''freedoms'' growing up everyone claims on these videos makes them so happy now They left the world behind and have been members from 3 years to 6 years and more and they say they can't imagine their lives without the gospel . So everyone doesn't fall under the grew up brainwashed in the church and glory be I'll finally free to be me catagory .

  • @mollymu1 How does a person obtain Eternal Life in the Kingdom of Heaven according to Jesus Christ?

  • @mollymu1 I fall in that category... I have been a member for almost 4 years!

  • Is the full version available?

  • Sarah ,were you living the standards of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at the time you left the Church?

  • @mollymu1 "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus," Rom 3:23-24. mollymu1, if you could make yourself perfect and free of sin by living the standards of the LDS church, why haven't you succeeded yet?

  • I'am ex mormon mormon destroy my life

  • @woodcchuck2020 Just a simple question . Were you living the Standards of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at the time of your departure ?

  • I love this video-CHRIST IS KING OF ALL KINGS!!!! HES LARGER THAN TEMPLES

  • IF you are looking into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints be sure to ask a active member not a non member or someone who is having problems at this time in their lives . If you want to know about the Baptist Church go to their site . If you want to learn about us ask us. And ask yourself about the fruit you see from us.

  • @mollymu1 Actually if you waht to know what a organization is that of God you need to test it like the Bereans did. They took what was being said by Paul and tested it to the scriptures (Bible) to see if they were in line. If even one part was out of line it all was not to be listened to. For if you take 9 truths and add one false item, how do you know what is false or if anything else is false? You must disregard it all.

Also what are the fruits of the LDS?

  • @Exodus314IAM well look at the state of utah!!!! oh wait um actually nevermind-look at our architecture,oh wait the vatican has even better .......i know its true i know its true i know its true.!!!!

  • @mollymu1 Amen.

  • @mollymu1 the mormon.org site is nonsense and lies.

i use the word of god to determine what is true or not,NOT A website.

i like how your church says stay off the internet while investigating but yet only go to mormon.org hilarious.

why not just go to the library??? or read the first edition of the book of mormon

  • Thank you for sharing, Sarah! You are awesome! You have a testimony of Jesus Christ that is so wonderful and beautiful.

  • I just watched this video again and it appears that Sara and her husband never did the necessary work to gain their own personal testimony of the Savior and the Book of Mormon and the LDS Church and Joseph Smith's calling. We cannot depend on what others say. It seems they are following what others are telling them again.

  • @LDStothecore I'm sure they have heard your excuse hundreds of times. It us much easier as a believing Mormon to think that they never had a testimony to begin with. It can't be that they read the Bible and actually believe what it says can it? I know them personally. Stefan served a 2 year LDS mission. Sarah was a young womens president and they were married in the temple. But the real point of their testimony is... Jesus did all the work on the Cross and they are saved by their faith alone.

  • @escarpa2 I read the Bible also and I believe what it says. Doesn't matter if Stefan served a mission or Sarah's callings. The elect will be deceived in the last days. I have a testimony of what Jesus did and the LDS church is still true.

  • @LDStothecore I am open to discussion then. If you believe what the Bible says, then lets discuss specifics on where you think Sarah and Stefan are in error and how their faith contradics the Bible. I would like to know first: What are the requirements for Eternal Life according to Jesus Christ in the Bible?...

  • @escarpa2 Not everything is written in the Bible. John 21:25 says, "And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be awritten every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the bbooks that should be written. Amen."

  • @LDStothecore Obviously. But that was not my question. If you don't want to answer my simple, straightforward question than just say so. Or if you don't know the answer just tell me and I will show you where Jesus and His Apostles say what the requirements for Eternal Life are. God bless.

  • @escarpa2 There are places in the NT that say we need faith and other places where He specifically uses action words, that we have to DO things.

  • @LDStothecore Are you referring to James 2? "Faith without works is dead"? What have the hundreds of millions of Christians done since Christ? Absolutely nothing? Was it required Sarah and Stefan to go on television and share where God brought them in order to have Eternal Life? I perfectly agree with James, as it reconciles with the rest of the Gospel of Christ. If you don't produce fruit, you don't have true faith in Christ. Don't put the cart before the horse. Eternal Life is a free gift.

  • @escarpa2 Not only James, but many other places in the New Testament talk about DOING things. You cannot only believe and you're done.

  • @LDStothecore Who was James talking to is where the LDS are way off. It is not what is said but who they were talking to and why. To the unsaved Paul shows the way, to the saved (knowing) it is then our works that shows the truth in them or the lack there of.

Are you saved, do you know? How do you know by your works? or by who you are??

Seek the truth, it will save you! eternity is a long time!

  • @Exodus314IAM The problem with you people is you interpret everything in the Bible to mean whatever suits you.

  • @LDStothecore The Bible is alive and shows us the truth that God wants for us, it shows us who Jesus is (God) and what He did for us (paid for our sins). Jesus is the ONLY way to salvation, there is nother we can "do" to earn our salvation. God so loved the world that... if we could do it ourselves we would not need a sacrific, Jesus.

Do you understand who Jesus is and what He did for us? Do you know the true God?

Seek the truth my friend! People like me do not want you to miss out!

  • @Exodus314IAM You people simply lie about our beliefs. We know that Jesus is our Redeemer and that He paid for our sins. We know He is the Way, the only Way.

  • @LDStothecore Show me in the Bible. Verses please. What is the kind of faith that produces works? Is it a dead faith? A faith in love? What is it to be born again, baptised by the Holy Spirit in Christ? If you cannot even show me/tell me what the Gospel of Christ is by the Bible, are you even worth your salt? If you can't show me where I'm wrorng and tell me what the Gospel of Christ is, what further need will I have to communicate with you?

  • @LDStothecore So do any of these "places" say it is required for salvation? Yes works come into effect when we are saved but not to be saved. If you are going to use James make sure you read all of James 2 not just one verse. In Matthew 19:16-17, Jesus was speaking to a Lawyer who was self-righteous since he wanted to put Jesus to the test (Luke 10:25).

READ the Bible and trust the Bible, most of all trust Jesus of the Bible.

  • @escarpa2 I would be glad to explain it to you, but there is not enough space on here. Email me if you sincerely want to learn.

  • @LDStothecore Perhaps there is not enough space for the LDS gospel and its requirements for eternal life, but the Gospel of Christ is simple and beautiful; forged in love and bound in grace. You stating that I may or may not want to "sincerely" learn your religion is a mute point. I know everything about the doctrine of the LDS religion. Try me if you don't believe me. And so knowing full well what LDS doctrine is, I ask you personally: What is the Gospel of Jesus Christ to you?

  • @escarpa2 Your statement that you know everything about the LDS church is proof that you don't. If you were humble and sincere you might be open to the fact that you don't know all. Only God does. I agree the Gospel is simple. See 3 Nephi 11 for the explanation of the Gospel and Joseph's statement. No space here, but part of it says that all other things are only appendages to the Gospel. Look it up if you know so much.

  • @LDStothecore The doctrine of the LDS religion has specific standard doctrine and requirements within the parameters of approved books. Therefore, LDS doctrine in its entirety can be known and understood by any human. The Gospel of Christ does not include the Rosche Principal of a Querytengent Singularity. Gospel means "good news", which is simply that "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

  • @escarpa2 I don't disagree.

  • @LDStothecore I'am ex mormon mormon destory my life

  • @woodcchuck2020 Not sure what you are trying to say.

  • @LDStothecore Ahh then what is missing? hmm it must be in the Book of Mormon then right since between these two books you have everything the Mormon needs for salvatio right? No...hmm then what else?? oh all these new changes that the LDS gods have made right? Polygamy then no polygamy (even though they are ever lasting) Blood atonment and then no? how do you know what to do and not anymore, are you sure??

  • @Exodus314IAM You don't know what you are talking about.

  • @LDStothecore You have a testimony? how did you get this testimony, by feelings? Or did you get it by the truth of the Word of God? I am sure you read the Book of Mormon and prayed and waited for the warm feeling to come right? did you give the Bible the same respect ever? It actually does not matter since this is not how you test the Word of God! Seek God, trust the Bible!

  • @Exodus314IAM You are obviously just mocking me, so there is no need to respond to this.

  • @LDStothecore I was not expecting a response, in fact the lack of response shows where the LDS stand. The LDS are lost and really have no idea if or how they can be saved. The truth is not in them and there fruits show this very clear to the true Christian.

Seek the truth my friend it will save you.

Sorry if my words were hard to hear, but the truth is hard to take sometimes!

    God Bless!

  • @Exodus314IAM On the contrary, we LDS know exactly what we need to do to live with God. What fruits do you refer to that are bad in us? I know the truth.

  • @LDStothecore Hmm? so who do you follow? do you folow your biship, elders, prophets, apostles?? who has the authority in your life? the Church?

  • It's Friday! Friday! Gotta get down on Friday!

  • ALL of christianity is a ruse of the evil forces of cosmos. Read the bible and answer me why a good and almighty "God" needs to kill babies in their mothers womb? You are all devilworshippers though you don't know it.

  • SUBTITULOS AL ESPAÑOL SE LOS AGRADECERIA BASTANTE...

  • I am thankful for being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It truly is Jesus Christ's church. My faith in Christ and knowing the scriptures as well as witness from the Holy Ghost are reasons for being a member of the church.

  • @majinish

"I am thankful for being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints"

    May God forgive you.

  • @maximusjay For what? I know I sin but being a member of Jesus Christ's church is not a sin. It's one of the greatest blessings.

  • @majinish

You teach a different doctrine that does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ. You are puffed up with conceit & understand nothing. you imagine that godliness is a means of gain and can be earned by works. In this way you have rejected the Cross of Christ and Christ Himself. May God forgive you even though you persecute Him and his followers.

  • @maximusjay Wrong. We teach THE gospel of THE Jesus Christ. I understand completely. You're completely misguided. I know what Christ did on the cross and am grateful. You forget the Bible says our faith is dead without works. We're saved by grace through faith and that faith is dead without works. I follow Jesus Christ. I pray that God will show you why you're wrong so you will stop rebelling against Him.

  • @majinish

1st: Deceiver... what exactly is the Gospel of Jesus Christ that you are referring to?

2nd: The Bible teaches that those that say they have True Faith, yet produce no Good Works as the Fruit of such True Faith, do not have a faith that is capable of saving them.

It is Salvation through Faith, without works, then Good works out of gratefulness that you have been saved already by resting of your works toward salvation in Christ. Works do not lead to Salvation silly bible twister.

  • @maximusjay The true teachings of Jesus Christ.

About your whole no works thing, false. The book of James teaches works are a necessity. We're saved by grace through our faith but without works our faith is dead. Sorry little boy but I'm the one explaining what the Bible actually says.

  • @majinish

About your whole James thing. False! James is speaking of to those who claim to be Saved. Sorry ignorant one but you must reconcile the Biblical Scriptures with Paul. Paul and James are in agreement 100% yet you are so naive that you cannot understand how. So who is the little boy silly one? Faith without Works is dead yes. But if you have Faith then you are already Saved by Grace SIlly One. You however are trying to work for your Salvation therefore you have yet to find Faith.

  • @maximusjay Get over it. Yes, I have faith yet I'm able to show it. You believe in sitting back and doing nothing. The whole "you can have faith and not do any works" is a sin according to James. Sorry but I have shown you what the scriptures say. You sound like a baptist. You are the little boy because you do not understand the scriptures. I have told you what the truth really is.

  • @majinish

If you had Faith then you would not be working for your salvation Silly one. You show you have no Faith by teaching that there is something other than Faith in Jesus that you need in order to be Saved. You have no understanding of James or Paul. What comes after Faith is a True Testimony of Jesus. That is the only Good works that shows you are grateful for being saved already. If you do not have that then it is very unlikely that U have a faith that is capable of saving you.

  • @maximusjay Please try to pay attention. Yes, I have faith. Sitting back and doing nothing and just saying "I have faith" isn't what the scriptures teach. You're to act on your faith. Yes, I understand the teachings of James and Paul and I'm trying to get you to understand them but you refuse. Before sending more comments I suggest you reading the Bible again because you have no understanding of what it teaches.

  • @majinish

So you agree that we are Saved by Grace without Works then.

  • @maximusjay You haven't paid attention one bit have you? We're saved by grace ALONE through our FAITH and that same faith is DEAD WITHOUT WORKS. That's what the scriptures teach.

  • "Exmormon to Jesus" Can't go to Jesus by leaving what he puts on the earth. The church being the only true church on the earth is more than a mere belief for me, it's something I know to be an absolute fact. We have God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost on our side. We are the Biblical Christians and we do know the real Jesus.

  • @majinish

"We have God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost on our side. We are the Biblical Christians and we do know the real Jesus"

How can you be something that you do not even follow? That is the most absurd thing I have heard from a Mormon thus far.

  • @maximusjay Yea, we do follow the Bible. We follow the real Jesus Christ.

  • How sad. Rather than seek answers in logic and reason, they exchanged one superstion for another that is actually much worse. I predict they have a decent shot at finding the truth if they can abandon the real enemy here: the fundamentalist mindset.

  • That women gets emotional because it still hurts her. The husband hid it from the wife because he's dishonest.

  • Congrats!

  • i can see now from you are going. but tell me this. How come all, ALL those people didnt die when they saw jesus the christ, the LORD? that in exodus was before new testament. my dear brother it really hurts me and astonishes me that you believe we serve two masters. i assure you we do not. and furthermore we do not "lead people astray" as you say we do. read the bible thoroughly because the authority of the real church died when jesus was crucified. else why didnt the same church stay...

  • @LDSmonalisa

Jesus is not God the Father. No one can see God the Father and Live. We know it is referring to God the Father because Jesus said it, and there were times in the OT when men saw Jesus and thought He was God the Father. The LDS Church and Biblical Christians both agree on OT CHRIST. As to the authority issue, Authority did not come through apostolic succession as your Church claims. It came through the Holy Spirit to the builders on the foundation of Christ, first at Pentecost.

  • @LDSmonalisa

"read the bible thoroughly because the authority of the real church died when jesus was crucified" You know, you are the first Mormon that I have seen that at least recognizes that Authority died with Christ. The problem is that you do not know that it returned to the Earth at Pentecost as promised in Isaiah 42. Jesus told the Apostles to wait and do nothing in Jerusalem until the Holy Spirit came with the Authority to act in the Name of Jesus. They did not wait did they.

  • Comment removed

  • umm brother i believe that was referring to the different sects that were there at the time ok. because the lord clearly said concering the preacher of the different sects: "they draw near unto me with their lips but their hearts are far away from me" and if you are talking about the prophets first vision it clearly says in JH 1:20 "and many other things did he say unto me, which i cannot write at this time." please open your mind and stop being so hard hearted. God Bless.

  • @LDSmonalisa

Different sect there at the time? These are the same Christian Churches that are still on the same corner to this day. Hard hearted? If you had wolves dressed as sheep in your sheep pen you would be no less "hard hearted". I am not sure what Smith was communicating with but it was not God the Father and His Son Jesus the Christ. Otherwise he would have died on the spot. No one can see the face of God the Father and live. So Smith is either a liar or he was deceived. You decide.

  • @maximusjay and that's what i am trying to point out to you, there were so many religions that the prophet did not know which to join so he inquired upon the Lord. no one would risk their family, their LIFE for something that was not true. and the prophet risked everything to restore the true church. and how are you so sure no one can live after seeing the Father? where in the scriptures does it say so? because i dont believe it does. and besides there is proof in the bible...

  • @LDSmonalisa

Polygamy, power and fame was not enough? Many Christians have fallen for the same reason. The other denominations that Smith said were an abomination were not religions they were all of the same Christian Faith. It never ceases to amaze me that you know so little about the four Gospels in the Bible which chronicles the Ministry and death of Jesus or the nature of God the Father. Exodus 33:20 But," he said, "you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live."

  • @maximusjay of ours so that the can live happy with christ and that they may be at the right hand of God come Judgement day. i am content, blessed, happy with my religion. if you must know i am a convert. i wasnt born into the faith and once i even said the same things you are proclaiming. i was stubborn and didnt want to believe in this church either because i thought how dare they say that they are the only true church? but i had a real life changing experience and i know with a surety in my

  • @LDSmonalisa

I am sorry that you have left the truth for a false god but at least there is some hope that you were saved already before you made such a silly move. In that case what it means for you is that you are now building falsely on the foundation of Christ and you will still be saved but only as one escaping through the flames. You will however suffer loss for all that you now build falsely on the foundation of Jesus. I pray that the spirit of blindness be bound and taken from you.

  • @maximusjay heart that this church is the church of jesus christ. i believe in it with all my might, my strength and my being. you call me a hypocrite. maybe i am. i am not free of sin, but i know that my joining the church was a right thing to do in my life because i not only have i changed myself, many others who live around me see how devout i am to christ and to being like him. and its not the church, its the doctrine of christ, the religion the Gospel that has helped me. it has answered

  • @LDSmonalisa

Don't call the blasphemous lies of the LDS Church the Gospel! There are only four winds, and they are Matthew, Mark, luke and John. these four winds were embroidered on the Temple veil. There can never be another gospel and as the Bible teaches us that we are to reject anyone claiming to bring another gospel, even if it is an angel from Heaven. Such a Gospel is cursed along with all who follow it. You have returned to the law and fallen from Grace.

  • @maximusjay What we teach is the gospel of Jesus Christ. That's not blasphemy, that's truth. Keyword: another. We do not preach another gospel. We preach THE gospel of Jesus Christ. I guess you've never read Revelation 14:6. It specifically says there will be an angel having the EVERLASTING, not another, gospel and it would be preached to all nations. The angel spoken of was Moroni and the everlasting gospel was the golden plates now Book of Mormon. The Bible backs the Book of Mormon. Sorry. :)

  • @maximusjay many questions that the catholic church could not. and would not. i respect whichever religion you are in. they are all good, so long as they preach of God, of Christ and not anything else. and although it sound cocky, they dont have the right authority, the aaronic priesthood, the melchezidec priesthood either, and if you refer the bible, you will see that jesus christ and his apostles had it; they had the keys of the priesthood.

  • @LDSmonalisa

I am sorry for you that you came out of the Catholic Church and entered into the Law once again without learning about the Word of God in the BIble. However, just because they say they have the answers does not make it true. It is not true it is a lie and if you would actually study the Bible you would see it for yourself. Don't tell me you have because it is obvious that you have not.

  • @maximusjay You being a Catholic explains a lot. No need to feel sorry for the person you're talking to. Apparently LDSmonalisa left the Catholic Church because she found Jesus Christ's church. The Bible and Book of Mormon are the word of God. I know the Bible quite well which is how I know the church is true.

  • @majinish

"You being a Catholic explains a lot"

Please tell me more. I had no idea I was Catholic. Thanks for pointing that out. I did not realize that you could be a catholic and have never attended a catholic church. Good to know.

"I know the Bible quite well"

Yea and Jesus and Satan are "spirit brothers" Silly silly Mormon. You speak such trash of your christ. If you actually knew the Bible quite well, which you do not. Then you would not be a Mormon.

  • @maximusjay According to something you said it sure sounded like it. Wrong, I speak truth about THE Christ. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because it is Jesus Christ's church. I've read the Bible and yes, I do know what it says whereas you do not.

  • @LDSmonalisa

The aaronic priesthood was done away with as part of the Law. There was a change in the Priesthood which necessitated a change in the Law as well. Christians are now in the Royal Priesthood which is open to men or women. The Melchezidec Priesthood can only be held by Christ & it is blasphemous to even consider it. There was never more than one high priest at a time and Christ holds that title. He still lives therefore there are no other High Priests as He is this Priest forever.

  • @maximusjay "Melchezidec Priesthood can only be held by Christ" False. The Bible doesn't teach this. It says it's unchangeable, not non-transferable.

  • @majinish

The Bible doesn't teach this. It says it's unchangeable, not non-transferable. Did you not say that you know the BIble quite well? Unchangeable is referring to the holder of the Priesthood silly. How could it transfer if it does not change?

Hebrews 7:24 But this man, (CHRIST) because he continueth (FOR)ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.

  • @maximusjay Do you not know the difference between unchangeable and non-transferable?

  • @majinish

    1. "Do you not know the difference between unchangeable and non-transferable?" I do, you do not.

Hebrews 7 "Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented them from continuing in office...but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood..."

Do your High Priests live forever?

    Continued

  • @maximusjay False. Unchangeable means just that, it doesn't change. It does not mean it cannot go to another person.

  • @majinish

    2. Hebrews 7 continued: "Such a high priest (Jesus) who is holy, blameless...exalted above the heavens. Unlike the other high priests, (Previous) he does not need to offer sacrifices... He sacrificed for their sins once for all when he offered himself...

THE LAW APPOINTS AS HIGH PRIESTS men in all their weakness; but the oath, WHICH CAME AFTER THE LAW, appointed the Son, who has been made perfect forever.

    Continued

  • @majinish

    3. Hebrews 7 continued:

18 The former regulation (law) is set aside because it was weak and useless (for the law made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God. And it was not without an oath! Others became priests without any oath, 21 but he became a priest with an oath when God said to him: “The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind: ‘You are a priest forever.’”

You have dared to seat yourself on the throne of God Silly Mormon.

  • @LDSmonalisa

Bottom line is that I can break down your religion precept by precept if you wish to consider what I have to say. If so then you can private message me. In either case please seek help. You are in trouble and there are eternal consequences according to the true Word of God for what you are now involved in. I pray that they will stop preying on you and that you will head the warnings that I offer to you from the Spirit of God out of the Word of God. God Bless.

  • @maximusjay You can "break down" the church precept by precept with narrow selective use of scriptures that you learned from someone else. You probably should start on yourself by actually reading the bible instead of bothering people with testimonies of Christ. Your misuse scripture is what is blasphemous. I've heard every argument you can possibly come up with and so have a great number of people in the church. You will never understand what you knowingly hate and lie about.

  • @Beckinz1

" I've heard every argument you can possibly come up with and so have a great number of people in the church"

On this testimony alone you deserve to be damned to Hell. Fortunately for you God is patient. Some learn by seeing others get burned by touching the hot stove while others must get burned in order to learn for themselves. Which one are you?

"with narrow selective use of scriptures that you learned from someone else" Daemon. The Bible does not lie, rather you do.

  • @Beckinz1

"instead of bothering people with testimonies of Christ" Testimony of Jesus the Christ bothers you Daemon? What more proof do we need of who you are. Get thee behind me Satan!

  • @maximusjay about the book of mormon- if you want to use the bible as a reference. i respect your opinion and thoughts and God Bless you if you believe in God and in His Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ, but i ask you to respect my religion and not bear false witness against it, or twist our religion to better suit you in your claims against it. what has the church done to you? why are you so against it. why are you so intent on fighting it? what has it done wrong to face such opposition from you?

  • @LDSmonalisa

I can respect no religion that wants a Christian to respect them when they send 50,000 missionaries door to door all over the World telling Christians that they have no authority to act in the name of Jesus. I bear no false witness against your religion, I expose the truth of it. You and your Church however bear false witness against the True Word of God as recorded in the Holy Bible. You say that you believe in it then you discredit it. Woe to you Hypocrite.

  • @maximusjay you are so intent on being against a religion that does no harm to you to anybody. if you want to talk about faults- no religion has a clear unspotted history. yes i admit we had a rough patch in history. but what about the others? what about the other oh so powerful church? God Bless you for your opinions for your beliefs but why are you so intent on being fixiated on claims of yours that you have mixed up? it isnt fair. we try to bring people unto christ, those unbelieving brethren

  • @LDSmonalisa

"you are so intent on being against a religion that does no harm..." You are correct about one thing. It is a religion. One Lord- Jesus, One FAITH- in Jesus, One Baptism- into the Word of God. Not into a Church. Does no harm to anybody? How about leading people away from the Truth? How about teaching them that all of the Christian denominations do not have the Authority to act in the name of Christ? How about that you can not be Saved (live with God) unless you are LDS?

  • @LDSmonalisa

"we try to bring people unto christ, those unbelieving brethren" I so wish that this was truth! The problem is that it is not. Have you ever heard of "Calling and election made sure"? Do you not know that this is guaranteed? Take a look at what your precious McConkie did just before he croaked. He testified of Jesus and Jesus alone, not Smith, not the Church is true but of Jesus is all you need. He jumped the sinking ship and they pooped him of the air in mid testimony.

  • @LDSmonalisa

Don't you think that if he believed when he knew he was breathing his last that the Church was true that he would not have used his last breath to say so? I believe you are a good person. I believe that you are sincere in what you are saying. I believe you are a good citizen and that I would not only like you but love you. I also believe that you are deceived. The LDS Church and McConkie have made you twice as much a child of hell as themselves. It is however not too late.

  • @maximusjay from the world? is it so bad that we want to bring people unto christ? to be with him again in his heavenly kingdom of glory?is it so wrong that we strive to follow jesus christ's footsteps and help the poor and the afflicted? what's so wrong with being good? what is so wrong with trying to live and be righteous, righteous enough, pure enough worthy enough, and help our fellow neighbour be the same? is that so wrong? please tell me why you are so against the LDS church

  • @LDSmonalisa

"People unto christ" You are not bringing anyone to Christ. You teach of another jesus with different terms for salvation. If you were under the Grace of Jesus you would have fallen from that Grace as a faithful Mormon. You cannot serve two masters. Being good? Is it good to lead people astray just because you can do it with a sugar coated smile on your face? You are trying to earn your salvation and have put yourself once again under the law. Now you drag others down with you.

  • @maximusjay that we do not believe in the bible. we believe, so far as it is translated correctly. we use the King James Version because everyone knows that it is the closest to the original. we follow doctrine that is in there. we apply the principle to our daily lives. that is one of the biggest misunderstandings that i've heard. it's flabbergasting that you believe we do not believe in the bible. absurd, brother. i dont want to fight with. but all these claims you have sadden me immensely

  • @LDSmonalisa

"so far as it is translated correctly" The problem with the statement is two fold: First, you are claiming that God cannot preserve his Word and thus is lying when he says that his Words will never pass away. Secondly, your Church passes out these bibles in slick adds to God's children like a pedophile hands out candy. If they are corrupted then shame shame on them! With all those "Prophets" running around couldn't they have corrected it by now? Blaspheme!

  • @LDSmonalisa

"we use the King James Version"

Could you please think for yourself? The King James is not the closest to the original anymore. There has been discovered over 2500 manuscripts predating the King James copies that have reconciled small errors in the King James, the same errors that can be found among 11 mistakes in the Book of Mormon that were plagiarized form the KJ, and erroneously (and comically) corrected in the JST without a corresponding correction in the BOM. OOPS!

  • @LDSmonalisa

    "it's flabbergasting... absurd, brother"

Look, you still have your sugar coating intact. Once I get a few licks in on you everyone is going to see that there is a sour ball inside there after all, and then you will have to start admitting that you do not follow the BIble at all. Grace after all you can do? Multiple God's? God was once a man who progressed to being God? We are all going to be God's with our own planets some day? That is in the Bible?

  • @LDSmonalisa

Why? The answer to that is simple. You are proclaiming another gospel brought by an angel of light and it is accursed. That in itself is enough, yet it is not the reason I contend for the Faith. The reason is because you make the claim that you are the only True Church and the only way that anyone can be Saved (Exalted). If the Church would be honest about what they believe and who they follow, and that they do not believe in the Bible, I would have no problem with them.

  • @maximusjay and not have numerous others spring up? we claim we have the authority because we do, the restored church, meaning the LDS church, is a restoration of the church that was in the times of Christ. and this gospel wasnt 'brought upon by an angel of light". are you suggesting that we are following a religion that an angel brough to us? no we do. the angel moroni was merely a messenger of God that was informing the prophet of what was soon to follow. you are in great mistake when you say

  • @LDSmonalisa

The Messenger that you chose to follow instead of the Ancient Apostles warned you not to listen to that Angel. You do not have the authority to act in the name of Jesus as that Authority came through the Holy Ghost through the Gifts of the Spirit to the Faithful and not to a "prophet" that claims to speak for God, when Jesus is the one and only Prophet who speaks for God (Hebrews 1) and he does this by way of the Holy Ghost through the Gifts of the Spirit.

  • @maximusjay You should do more research.

  • @LDStothecore

    You likewise.

  • @maximusjay I have done many decades of research. What have you done? Are you apostate?

  • @LDStothecore

Researched what? Mormonism or Christianity? I have researched both to a great extent and I have a very vast library of Christian and Mormon literature. So if you have done many "decades" of research then give me your best shot then. Should be easy for you to dispel me right?

  • @maximusjay It's not my purpose to argue with you, but if you have a sincere question, I am happy to respond. We in the LDS Church have as our goal to bring others unto Christ.

  • @LDStothecore

No thanks. You have nothing to offer a Christian. I already am a member of the Body of Christ. I am not interested in leaving Faith in Jesus for a religion that leads to a false christ.

  • @maximusjay I guess you are not a sincere follower of Christ.

  • @LDStothecore

By what Biblical Scripture do you make this assessment?

Something for thought if you are a follower of Jesus, then why don't you tell me where he is mentioned even once in the Temple endowment ceremony?

Why is it that Satan is mentioned but not Christ?

Why is it that Satan commands you to put on the fig-leaf and you obey, but no mention of Jesus?

Why do you wear the symbols that Satan tells you are symbols of his Priesthood? Just wondering.

  • @maximusjay How do you know what's in the Temple? I don't discuss that outside the Temple.

  • @LDStothecore

John 18:20 Jesus replied, "Everyone knows what I teach. I have preached regularly in the synagogues and the Temple, where the people gather. I have not spoken in secret"

For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open. (Mark 4:22)

As to you: John 3:20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. Eph 5:11 (expose the deeds of darkness).

  • @maximusjay Typical. You didn't answer my question. As for Jesus keeping some from knowing all, read Matt. 13:11, Mark 4:11; Luke 8:10.

  • @LDStothecore

How ironic that you would site where Christ spoke in parables as "proof" that he "hid" things. Now let me enlighten you. Only through the Holy Ghost can you know of the things of God. Those who did not know God did not know the meaning of the parables which were plain however to those who knew the Word of God. They were hidden from the unfaithful yet recited to each equally. You however are trying to say that keeping things secret in the "temple" is somehow related to a Parable?

  • @maximusjay Again, you have not answered how you know what's in the Temple. Also, I know that one can only know the things of God by the Spirit. And I am only telling you what Jesus said in the Bible regarding keeping the mysteries hidden.
