I had mine done 4/29/10 and today is day 2 for me. The gas pain is whats hurts me the most. My back, ribs and shoulders allk ache. I know what you mean about missing food.
honestly the lap band. Even though it was nice to have only once incision in the belly button - it's 2 inches and it hurts really bad along with the expected gas pain.
Yeah girl. I just weighed myself again and I'm down another pound!! So that's 12 pounds gone! I'm walking when I can, it does help with the gas pain for sure.

Congrats on your surgery. Stay focused. I started my two week pre-op liquid diet yesterday for my scheduled lap band surgery on 12/1/09. Wish you all hte success in the world.
It has been ok. 3rd night tonight and first time I am having a few cravings but I am doing ok with it all. I am sure it is hard right now for you, but remember your goals and you will be fine.
Keep those goals fresh in the front of your mind and you will be that person on the outside that you know you are on the inside! Great job, keep up the great work!
