  • why so many Dislikes?

    This is Wonderful!

  • @conpocotelomontas Could be a lot of people don't like orange lasers and prefer green or blue instead :)

  • yellow isnt very common is it?

  • @jasonchuu The most uncommon color for lasers

  • please respond... can Dragonlasers ship to australia because i am a fan of the Viper series and australia can only accept 1mw lasers soo i am asking you can Dragonlasers ship to australia. BTW Dragonlasers is the best man

  • @afroninjaiscool PM sent, Dragonlasers can safely ship high power lasers to Australia.

  • how bright is it compared to a green laser?

  • @yettii0077 a 5mW green laser will be much brighter than a 5mW orange laser.

The advantage of orange lasers is their unique and cool color.

  • @dragonlasersfanman yeah i have i violet one for the same reason

  • @yettii0077 i have one of the orange lasers and a yellow one i have all corlors eccepet for purple

  • @flameinghead123 how far do the orange and yellow ones go at night?

  • i would like to have this...

    If it was 10WATTS!!!!

  • The yellow is a diode pumped solid state just like the green lasers, they use a ir diode to pump a 2 part neodium doped crystal and in time the yellow pointers will cost 5 bucks just like the green pointers do now, the green pointers were stupid expensive at first too, its just a matter of production numbers, theres nothing about the build thats any more difficult to align with the yellow than the green, SERIOUSLY just wait and prices will come down.

  • @Desaster6 espacially since it's only 1mw

  • Comment removed

  • you stole this vid from WINDOWSEVEN

  • orange lasers are so badass.

  • LOL 388 Euros for one Orange Laser... No way

  • why so over priced?

  • @thingyee1118 orange lasers are harder to make than green lasers and more specialized so they cost more.

  • @dragonlasersfanman Ok thanks plz tell me the cheap why to buy lasers!

  • can you see the whole beam at night? or do you need fog or smoke?

  • Can somebody tell me, that what kind of medical or biological effect the yellow laser can do on human skin??

  • I don't think that yellow would be a good color for laser, but that is cool!

  • Yaaaaaaay! Got my $375 laser from Singapore today! Think I'll lock myself in my room and drop some acid. DUDE, send the little toy back and get yourself a hooker. It'll do more for ya than that over priced nerd toy. Does your daddy have stock in dragon lasers or whats the fuckin deal?

  • @HFTONE You are not having a good day are you!?!

  • @dragonlasersfanman can you see the beam at night?

  • is a black laser possible?

  • @JZAW11 that makes no sense, a dark blue could (and i say COULD) look like an inferred light (purple not black though)

  • @JZAW11 no because a laser is basically focused light, and the color black is created by the absence of reflected light.

    You cant make black light.

  • @JZAW11 do you have any basic understanding of what light is ? or did u mean a blacklight, like an UV light ? in that case, there's always the violet lasers

  • @JZAW11

  • what happens when you take the IR filter off?

  • The beam is then made up of 594nm light and IR light around 808nm. Not a good thing.

  • @dragonlasersfanman Would it burn things or just blind everyone?

  • 0:43 IR filter?is that not dangerous?

  • With out the IR filter, it can be dangerous

  • what does the IR filter?without IR filter we can see the laser beam?

  • This is detailed. Do a search for IR lasers and danger

  • would normal sunglasses protect my eyes when using a laser pointer or do i not need any or is there a certain type of glasses i will need

  • Normal sunglasses are useless. You need safelty glasses designed for laser protection.

  • is a 570nm laser brighter than 532nm?

  • No. 532nm is the brightest color to the human eye.

  • I think 555nm is the brightest color to the human eye.

  • Never I think it's so expensive :(

  • it'a the hardest to make. Almost NOBODY has them above 2mW O.O

  • when are these going down on price

  • Hard to say. We regularly have specials and price reductions at Dragonlasers

  • when science advances...literally

  • lol yellow my fav color

  • @aeronw00t M2

  • which is brighter a 20mw blue laser or a 5mw green laser?

  • Close call, not sure. I'd say the green.

  • @JZAW11 depends what wavelenth of blue. violet blue (405nm) then the green would be brighter. 473nm blue then the blue would be brighter even at 15mw (from what iv seen)

  • The 20 mw blue is brighter, your eye just does not pick it up as well as it would the green, but I would also say the green would be more visible, You see green about the most, then blue and orange and then the least is red and violet.

  • i love the video at 00:31 seconds

  • I noticed you used Energizer Lithium batteries. I think was so fast. I just replaced batteries in my green pointer with new Duracell and the beam is very dim. I know the colors are different than in this video but are Lithium the batteries to use only? Could this be the reason why or perhaps a damaged laser pointer?

  • @Gig540 there energizer adcanced, not lithiums xD

  • u can have the same light-saber effect with ALMOST any type of laser

  • hey um i have a 5 mw laser red and it never makes a light saber effect like urs does and its 5mws to help even if its dark

  • pretty cool. yellow laser i so rare.

  • cool

  • but which mw of yellow would be brighter

  • mW is a measurement of power, the more power, the brighter the laser so the more mW, the brighter the laser

  • which mw would a yellow be brighter than 5mw green?

  • A 5mW green laser is MUCH brighter than a 5mW yellow/orange laser

  • yeah point it at your face stupid.

  • can this be pot modded?

  • No. Pot modding is mainly for green lasers.

  • howfar would a 5mw yellow laser go?

  • Normally a kilometer at the most

  • Hey Frank. Can you see a true 5mw green laser bean at night with no fog or smoke?

  • Normally you can.

  • Alright thanks. :) Just wondering is D.L ever gonna sell a 5 mW Viper?

  • Probably not. You don't need high quality and performance at that power level.

  • Alrighty cool just one more thing. Is there a big difference in dot and beam brightness from a 55 mW to a 75 mW?

  • A significant and noticeable different but not a big difference.

  • nice. I have a green :O

  • do you need a nigfht vision goggles to see an infrared laser clearly?

  • Infrared or night mode on a video cam will normally do

  • how far would a blue laser go up?

  • wat power output? a 55mw would probably go up to 2-3miles

    125mw reaches 4miles

    200mw is 5-8miles

  • no the orange laser really powerfolllllll

  • is 200mw red laser better than 1mw orange laser?

  • Depends on what you want the laser for.

For a unique color, presentations, meetings and research, 1mW orange is better.

For burning and beam visibility, the 200mW red is better.

  • the world is full of dumbasses like you... if you dont like it, just shut the fuck up and get the hell out...

  • least i am not familiar with that shinning a laser up there ass, maybe your looking for someone to join, not me so get a life gay mother fucker

  • Comment removed

  • That is very harsh, especially for a classic like this song.

  • this is my secend comment..

ok um how did you guys make an orange colored laser light?

what did you guys fill the diode up with pee or somehing? ahaha

and the green one is filled with 500 pounds of green horse shit

and the red one is filled with blood

  • it sucks for this kind of video but the song is great. Was only a bad choice.

  • cool but i wonder what the price is

  • $289.99 From Dragonlasers

These lasers are difficult to make and costly so that is a good price.

  • i might think about getting one but at the min my new 125mw is fun.

    -zac

  • they realy have to make a more powerful one. and when u showed the beam was there smoke or just darkness?

  • ??????????

  • would a 2mw blue be still be bright and goes like 5 miles away, does it make flourscent glow, or does 125mw violet laser (adjustable focus) burn peoples eyes

  • A 2mW blue will not have a range of 5 miles

  • Comment removed

  • A 125mW laser can only cause injury at ranges of closer than (approximation) 100 meters where the beam is still narrow.

  • Aren't these laser really expensive?

  • The price ranges from $100 to $1500 or more.

So they can cost a lot but considering the quality and power, they are excellent value.

  • would a burning laser burn its own lens?

  • No ....

  • i have a green laser, i bring it outside it gets low, (in my house it works great)- is it the batteries or the laser? - do oyellow lasers do that?

  • Could be too cold outside. Lasers are temperature sensitive.

  • A good way to warm it up outside is to put it in your armpit... thats what i do

  • why are the orange & blue expensive?

  • They use a different method to produce the beams that is less efficient and cost more.

  • Explain the point of the device.

  • Why is this 1.5 stars?

  • The channel was spammed with negative feedback

  • its 1mW? u shure? coz 1mW laser dont have a visible beam. i know so coz i have a 4.5mW laser and it doesnt hae a visible beam.

  • The official power is 1mW but the laser is probably over poweredto around 3mW. In th dark, that is more than enough power to have a visible beam close up.

  • do you know if violet laser 50mws & 120mws clear and easy to see without smoke?

  • not as easy to see as green but better than orange

  • Whats the best handheld laser for burning stuff

  • green or IR. but it really depends on mW or W

  • If i put my hand infront of it would it like burn and can it burn threw like tight pants or other tight cloths

  • no not 1mW. TO burn stuff you need more power. Preferably 100mW +.

  • This laser is less than 5mW so it has no burning power.

  • wait. what are you asking

  • That would be the Hulk Ultra 400mW green laser but that cost ALOT.

How much do you want to spend?

  • are blue lasers visible?

  • Yes, You can see a number of videos on blue lasers where the beam is visible

  • haha thats 1 way to wreck your camera

  • its like a miniture sun

  • this is scary if u read this this far u will die in 10 days if u dont send to any 15 videos in 2 hours good luck hope u dont die !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • are 1mws visible at night without smoke?

  • Yes.

Not the same way a high power green laser would be visible but still clear and easy to see.

  • why is this orange i thought its yellow

  • ITS THE ATTK OF DA LIGHTSABRES!

  • wtf bitch dont ever point a fucking laser at a camera u dumb fagget

  • You take this video very personally

  • wtf dude don't aim lasers at the camera. EVER.

  • in 0:43 was that the ir filter

were do you get an ir filter?

  • That is the IR filter.

  • the guys getting a boner over the laser

  • Are you sure your not just projecting your own situation onto him?

  • no i hate lasers near got blind by one

  • This laser is 3mW so safe for your eyes.

  • Only 1 and a half stars? Jeez, I didn't think it was THAT bad... :/

  • Somone made a handheld battery powered 7 in one colour laser spirograph!!!!!!!

  • link?

  • Just because to laser colors are mixed and the COLOR seems different, the wavelength is still the same. So if you take a 650nm and a 532nm laser and put them together to make something approximately yellow in color, the color will indeed seem yellow. But the wavelength is still the same (532nm and 650nm)

    *end lecture*

  • then how can you make a yellow laser with out mixing both of them and to make it work right

and also when is pink laser pointer 621.2nm going to come out

  • not to be rude or anything, but you don't seem to know much about lasers, do you? I'm not sure exactly where to begin... First off, when you mix 2 lasers together, the wavelength never gets mixed. The APPARENT COLOR changes in a situation like that. Color and wavelength aren't always the same thing (fyi). Second, 621.2nm is most certainly NOT PINK! I don't know where you got that information but that is total BS. That wavelength is RED-ORANGE in color! I would write more but YouTube has a limit.

  • Also I'm curious to hear who is trying to sell you this "pink 621.2nm laser pointer". lol i'm still laughing from that

  • ok maybe not pink.. but there is white colored laser pointers very difficault to make costs 100bucks per mw i think..

    so 500bucks for 5mw and 5,000bucks for 50mw

    and white is 112.31nm

  • what in God's name are you smoking???

  • no there are white laser pointers you can check..but idk what the nm is lol

    but seriously whats 112nm?

  • 112nm isn't within the visible color spectrum.... it's deep deep ultraviolet. Basically it's invisible

  • is 112nm even any color? or any other like IR or UV..

    does 112nm even exist?

  • This never-ending conversation is really starting to annoy me... but I'm still gonna answer your questions. 112nm is deep Ultraviolet (UV) and it is invisible to the naked eye (the visible spectrum is roughly 400-700nm). Yes there are probably 112nm lasers out there somewhere but it's probably not something you need or would even want to have. Now can you please stop posting replies to my comments because they are filling up my inbox!

    sincerely,

    cmak

  • me to.. lol wat about 5nm? or what about 00.1nm what color is that

  • I think you can't do that.

If laser emits both red and green, then our eyes see a mix, but it's really both red and green, and not yellow. So laser has both wavelengths.

If laser emits *only* yellow wavelength, then it's one wavelength.

Depends on the way a laser is built.

So a RGB laser could be either 3 lasers on 1 line or just one (but then it would be white wouldn't it?).

  • i was just wondering... is 546.6nm the wavelength of an RGB laser?

and can you calculate the wavelength of a laser by counting up the numbers of the involved wavelengths and then : by the the amount of wavelengths? RGB - 532+635+473= 1640

    1640:3 = 546.6

    is this right?

  • An RGB laser is a colored laser with each of the 3 colors independently controlled to give you any mixture/balance of colors.

Adding the wavelengths is an interesting idea might work for other aspects of lasers.

  • a 1mW makes a beam like that?!

  • Indoors with artifical light, yes.

The 1mW lasers are normally over powered and can have an average power of upto 3mW

  • what do you mean by "artificial light"? Basically what conditions do I have to have to see the beam on a 1mW

  • wow that little laser cost sooo much is like $300

  • Its because these laser are only 1-2% efficient.

Greens can be at least >25% efficient which is why they can reach much higher powers. Blue lasers are 3-5% efficient so they can JUST fit 40 mW's into a portable. This lasers cost is purely because of the beams color.

    --hydro15

  • i attached a green one to my airsoft rifle and played at night it is so damn kool.

  • Be careful not to damage your laser this way or point your airsoft rifle at some one.

  • SHOOT! well i hardly played with someone but by myslef. but its weird when ur in the woods alone.

  • i have a c2o pistol and i was by my self hunting and had to kill a wolf that was charging me ready to attack me when i went over to look at it it was fucken creepy

  • lol rlly?? must have been scary.

  • bullshit

  • is it at all relevant to the video? you killing a wolf..

  • Ummm what wolf?

  • just buy a powerfull red laser they are legal in airsoft.

  • are you serious?!?!? they have special ones for airsoft guns???? man where have i been lol.

  • yes, they go for around 20-60dollars if your gun has a "rail" Go to actionvillage i think they have one

  • if a laser is under 5mW can it still hurt your eyes? or just temporarally blind you?

(yes, i know i spelled 'temporarally' wrong, or at least i think i did...)

  • How visible is the beam on this? i'm thinking of getting it...

  • In the dark a low power laser beam will reflected by particles in the air and be bright and clear to see.

That's why this orange laser is visible and looks so cool.

  • look at one throught night vision i have the same one as you and so dose my mate and he brought his night vision googles in and a laser pen it looks awsome throught night vision
