this is nothing, i was goiong to long and mcquade for more drum sticks, and i look left and i see BNSF GR-35 with 2 tanker cars a gondola and get this, the look lister live caboose so we stopper, i try te whip out my camera and it f***ing dies, and that thing accelerated SO quickly. OMG.
Some Canadian trains are cool. I personally think the US trains are cooler but we Canadians have some cool stuff. Bayview is a great spot to railfan. Thanks for watching!
@LocalRailfan if you can check out my videos... you will see what runs by me and stuff... we have everything from overpowered trains(trains with 9 engines and 50 or so cars) to trains that are underpowered(2 engines pulling 163 cars)
Yes the C.P.R handles Toyota, Honda and Chrysler and C.N.R handles General Motors and Ford. I know for a fact that Norfolk Southern carries BMW. Im am not sure which railway carried MB ( Mercedes Benz )
Thanks! Yep you are right about where the autoracks will go to. CN also takes them up the Dundas sub. CP and CN both meet at Brookfield then cross into the US at Fort Erie.
very good video and great still shots I am quit fond of the NikonD70s I have one here in my camra bag with my eqiptment thats the camra I got my intoduction into digital camra shooting with I now am useing the NikonD300
oh yah I agree...man the D300 is an extremelly fast camra mine is set on fast shooting refex I fire off so many so fast the speed on it is unreal a really awsome camra great for really fast action train shooting..I amcomeing back up to Canada this July rideing thr Rockey Mountaineer to Calgary for the stampeede so I look foward to shooting the CPRR again and some of the CN when we are on there rails the first day
I dont know if this interest you or not its a bit ironic really I am watching your video here on Canadian trains on a former CN Buisness Car now in private ownership called the Metis
Very nice! How many trains a day would you estimate go through Bayview Jct in the average day? I was thinking of going there for my summer railfanning trip.
"Daily traffic density can vary. Upwards of 45 freight trains and 30-40 passenger trains per day can pass through Bayview Junction on both the CN and CP tracks." - Wikipedia
According to Wikipedia Bayview can get up to 85 trains a day. Those results might've been recorded a long time ago. Bayview is a interesting place. I find the mornings from 6:00-10:00 are great and 4:00-9:30 are also good. I also find Fridays to be the busiest railfanning times. The CPR, CN, VIA, GO, and Amtrak all run by Bayview Jct. You might even see UP,NS, and BNSF if your very lucky.
Thanks, I was very happy to catch all F40's that day instead of the usual P42DC's with the messed up "cardboard cars" as I call them. The horn was really nice too, your right!
wow great vid I though I would not see a vid with a cp at bayview I knew they had trackage but that was year's ago..

Thanks for watching! Back before the recession Bayview Jct would get 75 trains a day but now I am estimating there might be 45-55 trains a day.
LocalRailfan 2 years ago
Alright, thanks! My only other option would be Wellsboro, Indiana if the Chicago idea falls through like it seems it will.

How many trains was that?
At about 3:12, there is a CN ES44DC. Those are pretty rare! What's that train car with the load at about 3:21?
Favourited and up on my channel!
For some reason, your new videos aren't appearing in my 'Friend Activity' box on my homepage. Do you know why?
trainzandbridgez101 2 years ago
Those ES44DC's (GEVO) are more common in western Canada, because of the DPU capabilities to help trains through the mountains.
