Britain is the only country that has ever had its citizens living on the Falkland Islands. They have always been British. Just because they are not located near the British Isles does not deny them from being British. All the people living on the Islands call themselves British. The Falkland Islands are as much a part of Britain as Scotland, England, Northern Ireland, Wales, Gibralter and St Helena are. The Argentinians have no legitimate claims WHATSOEVER on the right to occupy the Falklands.
