@ThePOWERMAN101 Well that depends on your definition of fan base. I mean, Alien came out in 79' and Predator in 87'. So the debate for AvP didn't start until 87'. Freddy and Jason came out in 81' and 84' respectively and that was a huge debate on who would win. However I still think Frankenstein meets the Wolfman is first as it came out in 43' and had a few other showdowns since. And then King Kong Vs Godzilla started building steam when Godzilla debuted in the 50s.
