The longer it takes for you to beat your opponent, the more time they have to mount a comeback and Seth's weak hits and low life easily allow plays to do that since he feeds their Ultra meter with all those combos. Fuudo vs Poongko. Poongko dances and styles all over Fuudo, then BLAMMO ultra that wins the fight since it takes over half his health. Gotta play perfect with Seth. 0 room for error.

Wow scrubs, go drown in your own pool of stupidity and lack of SF knowledge. If you're talking about broken, then yes, AI Seth on Hardest Difficulty in Arcade Mode holds true to that assumption. However, playable Seth does not pertain any of AI Seth's qualities, not even close. The only thing playable Seth shares with AI Seth is pure intimidation, and that's taking into account whoever's using playable Seth is actually good, like Hiropon or Poongko.

@dragonfx310 Even in that respect, AI Seth has a pattern that people will eventually figure out and counter. A good playable Seth has a shitload of mix-ups and cross-ups every round. They may only seem broken, but that's only because they know how to space and time their moves. You try any of the shit you see Hiropon or Poongko doing without any prior practice, you'll get smoked in less than half the time they take to floor their opponents. Besides, Seth is an all-in or nothing character,

This is why Hiropon and Poongko are able to stun their opponents whenever they get a good combo string going. Seth is a beast when it comes to stun, but turns into a gnat when he gets hit. Not broken. If he was, Poongko would have taken EVO 2K11 easy.

That long range, nearly instant ultra that does a "ton" of damage is one of, if not, the weakest ultra(s) in the game. That and he has those "strong features" he however must work 3 times as hard. That and you know, having 750 hp makes it so that if you screw up, your in a world of hurt. (You do know that boss Seth and the playable one are no where near the same right?)

IMO, in the hands of someone like Hiropon, he would legitimately be broken. He would be too freaking good. The only real reason why hes not high in tier is because hes a glass cannon. Seth requires you to work almost 3x as hard to get the same damage output as a anyone else, and if you mess up once. You are taking (depending on the punish) a grip of damage. Seth has a great mix up game but you really have to work hard.

Broken? No. Powerful? Can be. Seth has something for every potential situation. But the negative side to Seth is that his attacks are weaker and his health one of the lowest if not the lowest in any game.

A quick one-two combo leading to ultra can change the game for Seth even if he has full health and you have less than half.
