PC howie censors the show far more than the FCC ever did. I don't know if it's the marriage to beth or all the therapy he does but he's ruined his show. With the exception of a few choice bits the show hasn't been funny since Artie left.

And the Stern show has gotten better too, now that the bloated, unfunny, execrable, homophobic piece of wasted space Arte Lange, is gone from the airwaves. His seething, blatant, hatred for gays was apparent in every breath he took, every "joke" he spewed of his rhetoric. I suffered through Lange for years on Stern. The show is infinitely superior this year-plus that he's been gone.

I've been listening to Stern since 1984 and while he's clearly not as funny anymore,or relevant to the masses, without the disgusting lowlife Arte (which was my main point was), the show's been better. Sure, the "old Howard Stern that mattered" is dead. But give the guys some slack - he's been doing this for 30+ years. One wish - If Arte tries to off himself (good riddance), I hope he takes Ralph with him.
