1) Jordan never once averaged below 28 pts/g from his rookie season to retiring in chicago. kobe has 7 times, including 7 pts/g his rookie year. jordan average over 28 his rookie year
2) teams played better D in jordan's time
3) you cant say a player is better just because of what he did in one game.
also, 1991 Finals Game 1, Jordan hits 35 points in the first half, 6 threes. averages 35 points in the finals. what's kobe's average in the playoffs? 24 pts/g.

Kobe's rookie year = barely get any playing time. He didn't come to the NBA as skilled as Jordan was. He is the best because he worked to get his skill more than any player and still does.
