Basically it is a mix of the Shuffle (small form factor, clip) with a Nano (higher capacity) and a touch screen because Apple has a thing about touching their technology. If you ask me Apple should make their stuff less of a fingerprint magnet if they want everyone to touch it. Hope that helps.

Aww... c'mon man, Apple head phones are ALL bad.
They are free head phone jacks for all your strange needs.
Just slice of those peices of crap dangling at the end and you have free head phone jack ready for sautering or splicing...
Probably needs some resistors though.
