  • I remember seeing her when she was an exhibit at Bressingham.

  • Remember seeing her years ago at Monk Spring Junction, near Barnsley heading towards Leeds on the Thames Clyde Express. Fantastic she is back in steam.

  • I wonder if they'll paint her in the right livery this time when they've finished overhauling her again.

  • Hmm... I doubt it, but it may happen in future you never know.

  • Grear video Ryan!! The bloke at 1:07-1:12 was lucky to get on the train!! 5*

  • i remember standing on the footplate talking to the original driver when the royal scot was a static exibit at skegness butlins camp 40years ago glad to see it restored to its former glory

  • Its great to see her run again after so long. And good to know that you saw the loco at Skegness all them years ago. I admire the loco in every aspect, hoping to get more shots of her when she goes on the mainline.

  • i went to that and sat ont he footplate an amazing engine

  • Great to see her back in steam. Let's hope she can now start earning money for Bressingham Museum. Things have been very tight there lately.

  • Lovely video of a lovely loco. 5*

  • Indeed she is, she's another favourite of mine, the sound of her when shes working is amazing.

  • Brilliant! The last time I heard of anything to do with the 'Royal Scot' was in October 2005 on a trip to Bressingham! And now its back in service!

  • Nice video Ryan, she is sure a nice loco.

  • Well done once again Ryan, you've chosen superb locations and produced an excellent video of this wonderful machine...5* Bob

  • Thank you Bob, it was fun getting 6100 on those spots, she makes pretty impressive exaust beats.

  • did they use the same coach sets all through the gala cos in every shot i've seen the coach sets look the same, not just in this video but in all others!

  • In many shots yeah, but I think they used various stocks in choc and cream and on some services they added some maroon stock which was the Quantock Belle stock.

  • cool. the thing i like about the svr is that the stock varies, you got lms, gwr, lner, then mk1s in maroon and blood/custard

  • Yes they used 3 sets of 8 and one of 7, plus the DMU set on the NF shuttles.

  • Fantastic video, Ryan. Thanks for sharing - Frank.

  • Cheers Frank!
