  • You, OKK, are a badly needed antidote to our society's infantile biblical silliness.

  • The open oetter was in response to

dr Laura saying in her radio show that homosexuality was an abomination according to Leviticus 18:22, and cannot be condoned under any circumstance.

  • As a Canadian, can I own an American?

  • @CJGibsonfilms Yes you can, I'm jobless right now and if you can provide room and board.... lol

  • Ha ha ha ha ha ha!

In answer to the slavery question, it is indeed acceptable to own both Canadians and Mexican, especially Mexican Canadians.

  • @wubblesful and jewish mexicans. Cannot forget them.

  • One nice thing about our religion that --- unlike Islam --- we can bring it up to the present.

  • the whole bullshit against homosexuals isnt gona last. good luck tryin to keep them from having the same rights as heterosexuals. people like dr laura are close minded as fuck they just need to let it be

  • lol

  • The worst part about this Hogwash is that Dr. Laura is NOT anti-gay. This is just uninformed hate mail against Dr. Laura, who has a sense of morals. This serves no other purpose than to show that the author knows little of the woman toward whom this is directed, nor the topic which he is addressing. Just another "witch"-trial.....

  • @shepdog069

Nobody can be all bad. Percentage wise (just a rough estimate mind you), I would say75% to 80% bad. Get the witch!

  • Love it! just read it on stumble :) this was great... Did she answer back? Why does this woman have a talk show? She clearly shouldn't.

  • @ToxicOdiousOne ...religion is to be mocked...how can you let the stories of some desert folks thousands of rule your life? get your own burning bush or drop the cotton polyester blend. pointing out exact passages from the bible becomes mocking when you see them as metaphors, but you only see the metaphors when other people speak them, why? could you not read those passages yourself and see the ridiculous of times this book was written in?

  • @TrueJLD points are definitely being missed, but not yours. read your own drivel, rump ranger; you're the one who divined only homosexuality from this stupid bullshit. you and the jerk who identifies by his pants should get together.

  • Thank you for posting this, I hadn't read it before. I really needed the laugh!

  • @guyNbluejeans was it really just the "libs in the media" who charged the nword with all its baggage or was that years of slavery and jim crow. people like you always try to hide behind children. her "wisdom" is nothing but hate. you're an asshole.

  • @bogohoboho If you had more than two brain cells you wouldn't take her comments out of context and try and make her something she's not. Shame on you.

  • @guyNbluejeans if you weren't a foaming at the mouth bigot, you wouldn't think she had a point or a context, or that she were a she. truejld likes the way your butt looks in those pants. fuck both of you.

  • @bogohoboho Go eat a carrot.

  • @TrueJLD a little touchy about one fraction of the content. curious? trying to be satisfy yourself by forcing your oppressed point of view on everyone? sickening.

  • I'm pretty sure she made up this gay friend because anyone who calls you deviant would not want to be around that.

  • WHAT THE HELL?......

  • Laura is getting what she deserves for trying to take away the 'First Amendment' rights of almost all people not like her over the years. She is quitting at the end of her current contract, no one is silencing her. She, like Coulter, Palin, Bachman, Malkin, other anti-liberal gals that love to open their ignorant mouths, forget that it was the "Liberal" ideology, those who they all try to silence, that has given her the right to even open her mouth, leave the kitchen, and wear jewlery.

  • @cpmondello WELL SAID !!!

  • @cpmondello BRAVO!! A Brilliant Analogy!!

  • How sad that her brilliant advice won't be available to all of those that really need it. Children will be the biggest ones that suffer from her wisdom not being on the air. I hope the libs in the media are happy with what they've done.:-(

  • @ ooofest - your comment ASSUMES that homosexuality is genetic. There is no proof that homosexuality is genetic. Being born with two arms is, however, unless someone was capable of having an additional two arms attached. In the latter case, I would be perfectly proper in judging them, and their actions. Your opinion may be that homosexuality is OK. Mine is not; and my opinion is not generated out of fear: there is no 'phobia'. Regardless, they are both opinions.

  • stupid copypasta......You steal someone else's comedy and claim it for yourself? You suck ass.

  • Interesting, OurKrazyKulture...But are you assuming that yourself and Dr.Schlessinger subscribe to the SAME "Holy Book"? If I was you, I would ask to see hers first. ;-)

  • I LOVE this! My mom got it in an email one day! And it just made me laugh so hard about the WHOLE christian community! I mean can they be that stupid?! I have to say i am racists but ONLY to the christian community who badger and make-fun of everyones life style! So now i return the favor and do it back to them! I quoated this on a youtube video (Melissa Etheridge on Prop 8 on The View) bc people were trashing homosexuals and this shut them up... For awhile....

  • PROOF THAT CHRISTIAN EXTREMISTS ARE AS BAD AS ISLAM EXTREMISTS. This was great and the author is one smart queer. Let she who has never done a beaver shot in porn cast the first stone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Vegheadsrock SO FUNNY and SO TRUE!!

  • A question every Jew must ask oneself . . . Why can't I own Canadians? As a Jew, I will think hard on this questions and many others raised by this open letter to Dr. Laura.

  • Dr. Laura disapproves of divorce and pornography, but as a divorcee she posed for what can be called a "beaver shot" with her legs spread. In October of 1998, this and other naked photos of Schlessinger appeared on the internet. The photographer was Schlessinger's ex-boyfriend Ballance

  • I've been recommending people to google search & read this, Open Letter to Dr. Laura.

    I'm a non-practicing Catholic.

I heard it for the first time from Art Bell of Coast to Coast AM radio talk show a several years ago.

He read it on live broadcast & I had a good laugh.

All gay people should make posters of this & put them everywhere.

They should put it as advertisements on bus benches, bus stops, billboards, and so on.

They can make t-shirts w/ a few questions large enough to be read.

  • @KimInLosAngeles Well I am perfectly open to whatever floats your boat as most normal people are but I really don't want it shoved down my throat as something normal. Just keep that poster in your room and look at homophobes as just ignorant.

  • Believing that Homosexuality doesn't make one a homophobe - it makes one a person with an opinion.

The term "homophobia" is constantly misused to try and legitimize the practice by stating that those who disagree with it are somehow misled or mentally challenged.

A similar practice would be to call atheists "Chritiophobes", or those who disagree with pedophiles as "pedophobes".

  • @shepdog069 Not really, as a similar "practice" to homophobia would be to call those who "disagree" with people born having two arms, "dualarmophobes".

In both cases, you are "disagreeing" with how someone was born, apparently expecting that your expressed disdain for who they happen to be will eventually day influence them - and those who share that particular, non-threatening characteristic - to duly change it per your constant bias.

It's not a simple "opinion", but an irrational bias.

  • This letter is a great example that shows the Old Testament is over and out since 2000 years ago. The main function of the Old Testament now is to prove that Jesus is Christ, the anointed of God. Besides, we Christians can get much spiritual benefit and insight from reading it, but that is all. Those who still use it as a source of life regulations or prophecy about the future are deceiving themselves. As to homosexuality, we Christians are to abhor the sin, but not the sinner.

  • @mickaia The Old is not over, just fulfilled in Christ. Yea, some of the edicts found in the Old are not to be followed b/c they were strictly directed towards believers of that time(tithing is one example. Why people still do this is beyond me, except maybe greed or insecurity) No one in their right mind is going to stone anyone for breaking contracts or covenants with someone else. But I'm for stoning murderers or vicious rapists of every kind.

  • @slimdudeDJC what about the non vicious rapists, or people who didn't actually murder anyone, they just put them in the hospital where they died of staph infection? I'm not sure if I would stone a murderer, Hey they killed someone, that person died once,-- I would definately stone an Enron , Banc of Amerikka or BP Exec, and since I just realized that they are rapists of the most vicious sort, I guess I do agree with stoning vicious rapists. I'm not without sin, so Ill just kick dirt at em.

  • @kingtrae I simply picked stoning cause it was used in even "mild" cases of transgressions. But even in cases like the Enron and Bernie Madoff scandals, you don't put those kinds of people to death. BP Oil doesn't qualify either. Extreme punishment for people who are violent or murderous. You say what of the non-violent rapists? Still let the punishment fit the crime. For too long prisons have been treated like rehab or even rec centers instead of their orig intent; penal institutions.

  • @slimdudeDJC there are a lot of ways to kill people without being violent- and I would venture to say that the negligence of the BP corporation, the fact that this company intentionally skirted safety measures to save money and turn a profit has killed more people than the combined population of Death row in the last 15 years. Killing people gets classified as the cost of business every day.

  • @kingtrae So then BP willingly and premeditatively killed 11 people for profit?? C'mon, that will never fly in any respectable court. You may as well say Bush flew the planes into the world trade center. Madness is what it is. Yeah, I admit BP was careless and not being diligent enough on safety. Besides, they were told they could not drill closer to the coastline so they went farther out to sea where drilling would be, ironically, more dangerous.

  • @slimdudeDJC as far as prisons being rehab or rec centers, if that was true then prisons would actually be doing something useful instead of wasting everyone's money. have you even been to one of these rehab/ rec centers to see for yourself how lavishly these innmates are living and how well they're being prepared for re-entry into our society? if you knew how the inmates are treated and pitted against each other for CO entertainment etc. I don't think you'd support that last radio talk point...

  • @slimdudeDJC To say that the OT is over and out is the same as saying that is already fulfilled. Jesus Christ fulfilled it, as you say. There is nothing in the OT that anyone has to wait to see fulfilled. Only the heresy of dispensationalism teaches otherwise, contrary to Scripture.

  • @mickaia So Christ already came back and left?? I see the problem, you never read 2 books in particular, Daniel & Isaiah. Of course, Ezekiel, Joel, Amos and Zepheniah spoke of events future to our time now. Daniel's book capitalizes on political rulers from Nebachadnezzar to Christ(yes, he will one day rule here on this earth). Isaiah speaks extensively of that period when he rules. Ezekiel mentions war, especially between Israel and her neighbors. Please, there's lots that will happen ahead.

  • Christ has been reigning on this earth for the past 2000 years.

Israel had enough conflict with all its neighbours to fulfil most prophecies. Those prophecies you think unfulfilled apply to the Israel of God, the Christian Church.

Jesus inspired all prophecies; so NT takes precedence when interpreting the OT.

Jesus prophesied the complete rejection by God of fleshly Israel. This was fulfilled in 70AC with the destruction of Jerusalem and the whole Jewish system (no more genealogies available).

  • @mickaia I disagree. Christ ascended back to God so He's not reigning now cause He's not here in the flesh. He has and always will be in control of every thing and everybody. His will WILL be done, albeit, done in parts: His initial will, circumstantial will and ultimate will. Be very careful of "replacing" Israel with the Church. That is a solid road to anti-semitism in the form of what's known as "Replacement Theology". God has never left nor will He neve leave or reject Israel. False premise.

  • @mickaia BTW, when Jesus came, he fulfilled the law, not the entire OT. The rest is yet to be done, as mentioned in another comment.

  • This video disparages the bible, mostly. Not Dr. Laura. It's maker has a feeble interest in pleasing God. According to the Bible, practicing homosexuality is unacceptable to the Creator, as is ALL sex outside of marriage. Its not debatable The old laws referenced here in this video were meant for Jews living 1,000's of yrs ago. The point is they still reveal to us how God feels about certain things. This person clearly doesnt belive the Bible is a book from God, nor are they very educated in it.

  • @boogiemaam Certainly, if I'd read your comment first, I wouldn't have written mine! Gotta start reading faster!!! But I do disagree with you on the "7-day" issue written in your above comment. That's okay, though. Won't be any burning for that one!!!

  • Amazing, someone can be an authority on the Bible by just taking a few verses out of contest. The one aboutta man selling his daughter? He is actually a slave who had the daughter whilst keeping his slavage. The purchasing was to family members not in slavery. The girl was open to marriage of the owner or his son. There are 513 of these laws. Christ fulfilled all of these. So, like Abe, all we need to do is believe by faith and we're friends of God. Not by works or pushing old Bess to the alter.

  • @slarvage

hmm then could the statement in the bible that homosexuals are an abomination also be taking out of contest (context)? or a statement is taken out of context only if one does or doesn't agree with it? it's a pusselment that you should address with facts and references slarvage, since you seem to be an authority on the bible.

  • @slarvage . . . well, Bess had to be NEW to go to the alter or New and Old you and I would have been toast!!!

  • OMG, she did it again. yesterday she said on the air that saying we don't know if god exists is denying the facts.

    How stupid can you get?

  • @user19555 "Bible wielding a**holes should be aborted?" "People are as stupid as possible if they believe in a Creator"? Whats wrong with you? I know most religions is full of hypocrites who erroneously teach the earth was actually made in 7 days, but that does NOT accurately represent the actual bible story of creation. Simmer down crabby. Not all of us are uneducated, annoying born agains who talk nonsense all the time.

  • Also, I forgot to add that she regularly takes calls from educated and informed gays and lesbians. Regularly.

  • I've been a listener for about 20 years. Dr. Laura's best friend (besides her satisfied husband) is a gay man. "We LOVE to go shopping together." Fact. She's talked about him...never a name...just mentions her "best friend"....her thing is cowboy boots..she doesn't give away what he likes to shop for. I don't think she "qualifies" as a homophobe.

  • WTF is this all about New and Old Testament?

Are you saying God changed his mind and wrote a "Revised Edition"?

Is he so effing insecure that he is not sure of what he wants?

Idiots. The bible has been written by PEOPLE.

  • @user19555 this is so stupid - no one follows the laws of the old testament. Go cry somewhere else - or move to a country that follows this like Iraq or Saudi Arabia - oh wait they follow the koran and would just kill you. Get a life

  • Bravo! What a crap in the XXI. century.

Every bible-wielding asshole should be aborted before birth.

  • Dr. Laura is a converted Jew, which is why, I believe, the author of this letter directed it toward Dr. Laura...and it might also have something to do with her past record of throwing biblical references around to her callers. But, that's just a guess.

  • She does not respond to your species.

She has better things to do.

  • Like what? Avoid looking in mirrors, lest she be turned to stone?

  • Hey, where is everybody? I was sure there would be a lot of defenders on here. LOL

  • No takers from the Christians on any of this then. Funny that I thought they would be defending it.

  • This is great, i would love to hear her response to just one of these quotes.

  • @VetteGirlC6 How about thou shall not kill? as per this video, you probably think you have the right to kill when something doesn't go right.
