And he added some overdrive, which will get you lost, almost as a garuntee as a bassist. I honesly think he got mixed in the back, too. It's not as even as GN'R...

I was there at this event, and I agree watching this video makes the crowd seem lifeless, but having been there I can attest to a few things.

1) This event lasted like 14 hours... people were passed out for an hour or 2 during the concert.

2) Most people treated this like a picnic with killer music in the background.

3) Finally, there were some AMAZING bands there... some people weren't into this one and I'm not sure why...

This was a charity gig called Live8 . Mariah Carey and Robbie Williams were also on the line up , so unfortunately the crowd wasn't a true rock audience . I remember watching this performance live on MTV , and was blown away by how good Velvet Revolver's performance was . It's a shame this line up broke up .
