I wanted this game so bad I went trough the trouble of ordering a copy and a Freeloader on Ebay. It cost me almost a hundred dollars, but what can I say... It was totaly worth it!

This battle is incredibly hard btw, it almost made me give up on the game, I'm glad I didn't.

There aint nothing better than kicking Giacomo's ass, ESP if you've played the original first. That "inferior" logic reminds me of Asch and Sasuke(Naruto), since they use the same voice.

Just walk in the direction of the wall and KEEP moving to that direction, that way you will push the wall, do the same with the other (they are the ones underwater BTW)

Man it looks like you can't defend at all in this game or is it just me??

They made it easier. You automatically defend if you're not currently taking an action (waiting to attack), and the 'defense' cards are now equipment which last for several turns...except for shields, which function as items and last for one turn. They pretty much stop you from getting hit at all, though.

I rarely use defensive items at all. You didn't consider that you can't use a defensive item without getting rid of your weapon or whatever other item you're using, so you can only do one or the other.

Stack your deck with enough and it shouldn't be a problem of running out of either defense or attack bonus items.
