I live in Maryland and fish for shark and larger bill fish at the Canyons as much as I possibly can, about 5 x per year. A lot of trips out there end up being "blue shark trips". I consider myself a "decent angler", definitely a "dedicated angler". I DON'T FISH 4 SHARK ON 15 lb test! This is a great catch, and the way you caught it on another hooks' eye! This is a great video. All others who "diss" the angler need to go fish for blue shark themselves on 15lb test line. Congrats, TY for sharing.

Its my brother on this video. And if you think fifteen lb. Test is no light for shark fishing then you have no clue what you are doing. One... I've caught perch at the pond bigger than dogfish... Two... 200lb shark vs. 15 lb test without breaking is ridiculous. Three... All his tackle was severely light for this fish type so all those haters out there I'd live to see you get winded on 100 lb blues.

i forgot to add that the boat is a 31' fountain tournament edition with twin mercury 250 Verados.... boat runs 65+ mph...perfect for shark fishing under the gun and haVing to run home in a hurry !!
