whats weird is what apple wrote on their website: "a battery live of up to three times the normal laptop-up to 5 years" since when is the normal battery life of a laptop only 1.67 years?! my sisters is going on to a solid 4 years and still retains a charge almost like new.
by the time you would need a replacement on this, the slowest laptop in production would probably be many times faster than the MBP, and cheaper than the battery replacement would cost.
i'd also like to know. Anybody knows?

He forgot to mention that these batteries bloat and break out of their casings. It happened to mine and was not replaced by Apple.

No, but I think you can give it to Apple so they can replace your battery for a fee. And it would take years before it would die.

ummm the bottem case is just held in with skrews u know.. all you have to do is unskrew the skrews

but 1000 times is nothing i have MBP old one and i have cheard it 2000 times and need 3 battry is in 2 years and it is still as fast as the that one

1 gen and yes it have do it 1250 charcd is now 40 mins but 3 monthes a got some times 2 hours on in 15 inch
