Of course the giraffe's "wish" to streach has nothing to do with it's eventual evolution, we found that out to be wrong 200 years ago, but since the giraffes are stretching for food, the ones that can stretch the furthest will in average live the longest and have most babies carrying tall-genes to their offspring again. BUt "wish" has nothing to do with evolution, it's just who happens to get the tall genes.THe "genes that fit the best"; )
