Brilliant video but i went last year 2010-2011 and the snow was awful. Go elsewhere if you want lots of area to ski! There were only 4 runs open!

A group of 11 first timers just got back from bansko and had a brilliant holiday. The ski schools there are very good and we were surprised at how much progress we made. We'd completed all the blue runs by the end of the week! Mind no one warned us about the pain in your shins!!!!!!!

we went dec 07 for the 1st time skiing and my dad cud ski so me and the rest of my family had lessons on the first morning and they were so boring we we learning to ski with one ski on first and then walking with our skis, awful so my dad sed forget the lessons and he took us to a blue run and chucked us down it and sed follow me and we learnt tht way the best way to learn in my opinion. The best thing was on the day before last we saw our ski group go down the same run we did the first afternun

i love bansko this 3 years i went to bansko every year i gone and in borovits and i dont like so mush but i love very mush bansko i tell you to go to bansko try it its very nice

Not been to Borovets, but Bansko has plenty and the ski runs are the largest in Bulgaria. Also a good range from basic to quite posh restaurants in Bansko. I've been to Pamporovo and its tiny and the mountain runs less than half the sizxe of Bansko

ski school package ( passes, equipment and 4 hours a day 6 days school,) costs the same for foriegners as just passes and equioment hire, so for those wishing to improve its a good buy, but not compulsory and some go in the morning and some the afternoon, some stay all day

oh and to all who havn't, you have to try the off piste in bansko.. its awesome! especially with steve haha (he runs the mountain biking in summer down at the intersport shop)... bollocks i miss bansko!

I only manage to go once this year in Bansko. I wish in 10 days it will still have snow, because i ll be there. The last track in your video is my favorite ski track from whole mountain. The black Tomba track rulez

ahh yes. i'm not mark, i'm his son and i'm only 13. my tips would be= try staying at the Kempinski, 4* (should be 5) lovely rooms, spa, 2 jacuziis, out and indoor pool (i like rolling in the snow then jumping back in, fells like being hit with napalm? not that ive had the experiance). really lovely place, and don't (cause of my personal review) feel as if you have to go to the kempinski, but its my personal fav :D
