I know I am going to get lots of thumbs down here but for me Michelle was maybe middle of the nominees, I think Sigourney Weaver should have won this Oscar not Geena Davis. Geena is actually a lead and not even that good.

I am still baffled as to why Michelle didn't win this one. I love all of the aforementioned actresses, but she was absolutely ASTOUNDING in Dangerous Liaisons. A tour de force performance of naturalistic acting.

Your right. I am Michelle Pfeiffer's number one fan. I think she deserves every oscar for every character she protrayes. She is a without a doubt a phenomenal actress.

It might just be me but hasn't Michelle been robbed for 2 of her 3 Oscar nods??? She should've won for Dangerous Liaisons and she dhould have one for The Fabulous Baker Boys no doubt.

The Oscar, like many other things in life, is just a matter of luck!
Don't get me wrong, as a Pfan, I would love to see Michelle Pfeiffer getting her well deserved Golden Statue, but sometimes I think she's been already lucky enough and I bet she's well aware of that...

I do agree and that she is very lucky and that the skill of an actress isn't on what awards she has won but that doesn't change my opinion about her winning for The Fabulous Baker Boys!!!!

Sigourney or Michelle or Frances should have won. Geena never looked like she was that good in the role, though she redeemed herself with Thelma and Louise. Joan Cusack is always funny but lucky to be nominated. Frances McDormand looks really good there, but she would go on to do better things in the future.
