I really enjoy all your videos, and can tell you are a great teacher. I would have loved to have been in your class. I have wanted to get a lathe and mill to do some projeccts such as this and now at age 44 I am thinking about getting a Grizzly mill and lathe. Could you send me your thoughts on an entry level set quality up such as the Grizzly.
@turbinedoctor Thanks for the complements. My brother has a Grizzley mill (bridgeport clone. ) He said it is very good. Do not buy any of there cheapest machines. Save your money & get at least their middle grade.
Outstanding video! And truly inspirational for all of us home machinists. This project represents the apex of skill sets I hope to achieve. I can't thank you enough for taking the time and effort to produce videos such as this and share them with others. Truly representative of all that is good in our otherwise increasingly shallow and dumbed down society
now with all this being changed we cant get a copy for later use! Bummmmer! we will have to figure out how to do it again since the youtube downloader wont work. we love going back to look at your videos when we are making something you had shown in your videos pitty they keep changing things PROGREESSSSS or lose out huh? thanks for postng at least we still can watch them for FREE FOR NOW Joseph T (fly2000jtb)
Thank you for taking the time to post your videos.
I have learned a lot from them. Cant wait to see the new engine progress. I have a new Grizzly G0704 and an old S.B 10' (Dad's) Have built a couple of woblers. Do you cast your flywheels?
Thanks for posting this. I've was hoping you'd show us the engine building process while I was watching the pattern making series. Excellent work as always. :D
hello mrpete222, i was wondering if it will be possible to put a wire brush on as an attachment to clean out the bore real good?

Nice job,not building a toy one this time then! I hope your going to build a slide valve engine from that casting rather than and oscilating engine.
