You are not only one. I really want to go to the conference in SF but I just found out this week and look not happy because it is too close on date. So I wish they can announce within 4 months ahead so I can prepare to buy airfare and come there. Right now I have no money for this cuz it is too close! Forget it due to high expenses on airfare!

Yeah airfare is extreme expensive when it's short notice.
