  • See Amir Khan THIS is what a robbery is; a fighter fights hard, on the inside AND outside, gets fouled along the way and they stop the fight prematurely.

  • @PrimeMike1 Cotto understood english back then and maybe a year or 2 prior to this fight but his pronunciation wasn't all that great, so he chose to just reply in Spanish. He speaks great English now....

  • he aint on judahs level... lol come on now thats why cotto beat judahs ass this man is just pissed off cuz he got beat by one of the best fighters in boxing today... and response to mfeld418 he asked him a truthful question but your right try and dodge cottos punches .. not even pacquiao could get away from cottos combination.. even tho cotto lost the fight with manny i still think he remains the best.. can we call a remach with pacquiao .. or get a fight with maywhether already DAMN!!

  • He said Cotto is not on theyre level but he lasted 12 rounds with Zab & May without taking a knee or getting knocked down.. Hmmm I think that blow might have done more damage than what was earlier thought.. LOL

  • OF COURSE HE NOT ON ZABS LEVEL HES WAY MUCH MORE OVER HIM ,,,,

  • thats why the ref stopped the fight cause chop chop didnt want it anymore if u didnt get hit and take a knee that means u dont want to fight so fight over.

  • he was like "dont fuck with us, this is our town bitch" haha KNOW DAT

  • Terrific and classy interview by Chop Chop after one of the biggest robberies ever seen. Despite Merchant and HBO's efforts to promote and prop up Cotto (their protected fighter), Corley refuses to cooperate and maintains his steadfastness in a professional manner. Probably why HBO hasnt had him on since.

  • legs turn into spaghetti. LOL damn larry merchant!

  • this is the worst referee i have ever seen, he deduced the points holding the wrong boxer, he have no control in the ring and he stopped the fight prematurely

  • well, I guess Cotto proved that at least he's on Judah's level...

  • Even though Corley went the distance with Mayweather, Pretty boy nearly broke chop chop neck in that fight with LR HOOKS. FMJ isn't out to destroy competition but only to prevail over the B,C, and D-CLASS Fighters. This fight didn't prove anything to FMJ that this prospect was a threat. At this time, FMJ was chasing Shane and " The Golden Boy."

  • I've always liked chop chop. Great movement. Classic stick and move style. But how mistaken was he when he said Cotto's not in judahs level. lol Come on man, you went the distance with both fighters. He said he took a knee because he felt endangered. Which is fine. But he also said that Cotto didn't even touch him. So why take the knee? Truth is, he never felt power like Cotto's and didn't want any part of it.

  • This was a helluva nutcrackingly good fight.

The kind people want to see.

It should not have been stopped.

  • larry merchant asked corley some really dumb questions...

"you fought mayweather, judah, and cotto. give me an assessment."

    assessment of what??

no wonder he had to ask 3 times... nobody knows wtf he's talking about..

anyway, cotto is one of my fave figthers, but corley definitely got robbed here.. maybe cotto would have won later on... maybe not.. but corley definitely deserved a chance to fight...

  • @elnegrobembon

Corley has never been KO and the referee but that blemish on his record in this fight. And I believe de la hoya and chop chop when they say Mayweather is on another level than Cotto.

  • @PrimeMike1

if you've ever spoken more than one language or tried to learn a foreign language, you'd know that you can always understand more of a language than you can speak it..

cotto didn't know how to speak english that well back then, but he could understand a lot of it..

  • I'm not sure if Demarcus was right about saying he isn't/wasn't at Mayweather and Juddah's lever at that point; however, for sure Miguel was not as good then as he was prior to being cheated and beated by Antonio "Hands of Cast" Margarito and Emanuel "PED" Pacquiao! That is all.

  • @PrimeMike1 when Cotto started boxing pro, he took lessons, at first he understood english but didn't answer, but now he is holding interviews by himself

  • CORLEY WAS ROBBED FUCK COTTO

  • @dreadrollin i think u mean fuck that dumb ass ref, it wasnt cottos fault the fight got stopped prematurely

  • I agree with Corley. Cotto is not on Mayweather's level, and yet, Cotto beat the crap out of Mosely, and ruined Pacman's face, and people think that these guys have a chance against the Mayweather? They have got to be kidding me.

  • he didnt speak english to well back then probably didnt wana sound stupid i guess.

  • Cotto beat his ass but that has got to be the worst ref ever...

  • This is the fight that had me thinking Judah was going to beat him because Judah does alot of same things Corley does but hits harder. I give him credit tho, Cotto learned from this fight and fought Judah differently. But it goes to show he was able easy to hit with a right hook, something Manny took advantage of. I'm sure Roach watched this fight closely.

  • @Antrizzle2009

Have you ever been hit in the nuts? I'm guessing you don't have any because it fucking hurts like hell. A flick from the finger hurts like fuck imagine a boxer hitting you there?

Now imagine, a boxer hitting you there about 4 times. That's exactly what Cotto did to Judah.

  • @adxgr0undzer0 First of all these guys wear cups. It actually hurts more to get hit high on your gaurd than actually on your nuts, but if you've ever stepped foot in a boxing ring you would know this. Secondly, those low blows happened early on in the fight and while yes they did have an effect on Judah, we've all seen Judah fade in fights and Cotto wore him down throughout the fight.

  • @Antrizzle2009

Well obviously you have a vagina like I said to assume this. And I have stepped foot in a boxing gym. Lmao, In fact I used to train with Armando Muniz from Riverside. I used to attend Rubidoux High/Patriot. Look it up. :)

Also, you're trying to justify something that isn't justifiable. Like I said Cotto, is a good fighter I was going for him in the Margarito Cotto fight. But he's also a VERY dirty fighter.

  • That ref was a JOKE!

  • dodgy ref..cotto hit below the belt too much..corley should have been protected more and should have been allowed to continue for sure

  • he was right cotto wasn't in the same level as judah and mayweather... but now... its history.... cotto KO judah.... now he will defeat pacquiao and maybe!! if we are lucky we will see a cotto-mayweather fight

  • yah, keep dreaming

  • mtf vsf

  • he said it in a interview... he took english classes to imrpove it

  • Man I can't stand Larry Merchant askin' Chop Chop why he went down if he did'nt get hit, why does'nt he try to get his old ass in the ring and try to dodge Cotto's punches!!!

  • Cotto was hitting constantly below belt.

  • cotto is a dirty fighter, but thats rarely spoken about since hbo loves him so much..if it wasnt for the low blows vs judah he woudlve been KTFO

  • i like cotto he deals with adversity really well he looked really hurt early on in the fight but come back to win in style.

  • hes got better now thats y he tries to attempt to answer in english at times.but this fight was some years back so maybe he wasnt that great and didnt wana feel stupid

  • @sugarnadf could it be that he wants his fans to understand what hes saying in spanish?

  • Corley is a warrior, more focused he could have finished Cotto in the third.

Cotto is vicious man, he did it all, low blow, punch after the bell, punching when Corley was down....

the ref did a very very bad job, fight stopped too early

  • very true! but, do you think corley really had a chance if the ref would have continued the fight?

  • Yes I do, just look back at the Torres fight, Corley could have hurt Cotto an other time, this is more obvious since Corley wasn't really hurt but more overwhelmed and tired. Like said Larry, Corley could have regroup between the round....

but ok I also understand the ref, he was in Bayamon with the borricuas going crazy....

  • corley isnt torres. he doesnt hit as hard and hes a lefty. tired? he had four rounds to go. I honestly doubt that corley had a chance at the score cards and since he was "tired" he didnt have the power to knock miguel cotto out or even down.

  • eso si mochuelo pega duro, yes I believe he was exhausted after these 4 brutals rounds,

this is normal to me, I have seen that from other fighter after few rounds

Everything could have happen since Corley had already Cotto hurt in the 3rd

  • @littlehagler your probably a nigger

  • @EviLBoBrs -whats tht gotta do with anything

  • cotto slapped chop chop 4 times at 1:30 ! hahahahahahhahahah

  • lmao

  • nice post sugar!

  • thanks bro

  • wow...the ref was F'n up the during the whole fight tho
