  • Carbon dating shows the Bayeux Tapestry was created in the 15th century, during the Renaissance. There was also a battle fought in Normandy during the Hundred Years War, in which a duke called William also fought. Is history repeating itself? Or is the history we know as history FALSE?

  • vive la normandie

  • "During the century and a half after the Conquest, there is no English history. The French Kings of England rose to an eminence which was the wonder of all nations (). The Conqueror and his descendants were not Englishmen: most of them were born in France: they spent their lives in France: their speech was French: every high office was for a Frenchman: every acquisition on the Continent estranged them from our population".

  • HAHAHAHA! Everyone wants to be a champion of course! Who likes to lose?

The Franks wanted to be considered as Romans, HAHAHA! In their early years. When they had established themselves, they became the Holy Roman Empire! WAHAHA, a joke (when they are actually GERMAN barbarians).

HAHA! And the Norsemen aka the Normans, the Vikings. Wanted to be like the established FRANKS!! WAHAHA! These Normans kicked mainland French ass under Willy the Duky. Its all Mafia business......Capish?

  • wtf.. English please

  • The Normans call themsleves "FRANKS" on the Bayeux Tapestry.

The Bayeux Tapestry was made by NORMANS, not by Anglosaxons.

It was a command from Guillaume himself.

  • That's an impressive beard on Edward the Confessor. Very John Lennon-esque! :P

  • I am from Poland and I understand everything :D

  • There's definitely one thing the Bayeux Tapestry tells us if nothing else : There were lots and lots and LOTS of horses in 1066 :D

  • well, they had the same function like cars nowadays. there is lots of cars...

  • and in an analog case nowadays we have

lots of trucks, tanks, fighter jets, missiles, etc...

  • lol ;P ye,seems to be ;))

  • Why is the title and description in English when the video is in French without subtitles.

  • The video is in polish. I had no time to write and place subtitles. Narrator describes the action on the tapestry with small intro about Normandy and the place where it was made and exhibited.

  • Tres super. deux/deux

  • english???
