I breed American Bulldogs for 10 years and most of the people i sold too used them for hog hunting,after seeing Zoey in labor I was pleased with her performance.It is best to let the mother do her thing the time assisance is needed is when a dog is real small or the breeding was with 2 different breeds,most dogs know what to do in labor

@NikkieRoxxx usually it's easier for the dog, the birth itself is not so painful - the size of the offspring is smaller. It's rather tiring than painful.

TO al of the people who love giving advice to people when theyve never "helped" a dog give birth.- if you did , you would know you cant "help" her .what can you do? pull out the puppy?you can only do what you would do during a human pregnancy.and oh, DONT tell anyone how to raise any dog they paid THEIR MONEY FOR.

1st off, unlike people who run "Puppy Mills" we KNOW and love our dog. We know what is best for her based on years of caring for her and being familiar with her character, even while in labor, as this was not her first time.  Thank you for your opinion, however considering it may be coming from someone who breeds these little dogs for money, I will choose to ignore it.

1st off its never wise to move a dog while they are in labor, they can snap.you should have had her set up in a whelping box of some sort and stayed out of her face. you didnt give her any room at all. i have been breeding chi's for going on 6 yrs. also when i have a breach i never ever let it just sit there. i help the mom , always.
