Hilarious! I've never heard this take. "Yoda" by Weird Al Yankovich also makes me smile. The Chipmunks should have used the KinKs original arrangement, however, as Van Halen tended to overplay the song, often squeezing in a few notes where a "rest" in the measure was part of it's charm, but they certainly brought the classic KinKs song to a new generation. They did a nice version of "Where Have All The Good Times Gone" by the Kinks though, so I'll give 'em a pass.
