Does the standard RNS510 have a 30gb HDD and sd card slot or is that something special that you have put in?

I like this RNS-510 I´ve watched your video about five times just to get an idea of how to use it. I really like it, will get one of my own. I have the 2005 VW touareg, mine does none of that.

It's HDD based. You update it using DVD's.

Yes you can play DVD movies but not while driving. There are modules that can enable that feature.
