  • the guitar is not tuned well

    ornaments are weird

    not practiced enough

  • @CharlieSabbath - What does this have to do with Asians, other than the fact that this player happens to come from an Asian country? There are plenty of players on Youtube from non-Asian countries playing the same thing as well or better.

  • Way too much low end, its too boomy. Very hard to listen to, theres no sweetness about it. Visually its stunning and I would love to play in such a theatre, but lets face it, its the sound that is important. This is not balanced at all and yes way to much fret buzz. Overall, a well accomplished player, just tell your sound engineer sort things out :)

  • 4:20 its a sign!

  • Comment removed

  • Yamaha....CG101A????????

  • The video was nice, but the audio was painful. His guitar is completely out of tune and he has way too much fret buzz. On top of that, his hands don't sound synchronized. Oddly enough, the rhythm, especially the faster scales, is pretty spot on. Thanks for the attempt, but please rerecord the audio. I'm sure you've nailed it in the year since!

  • Not much, except its blue or green.

  • BRAVO! Almost as good as ESTEBAN!!!

  • You have decent tone, but your right hand technique is terrible.

  • Belle interprétation

  • OK, PEOPLE, GIVE ME YOUR GUESS IF THIS IS A GREEN SCREEN OR NOT WITH YOUR REASON!

  • 1. tune your guitar before playing (6th is out of tune)

    2. don't play chopin like someone who doesn't feel music because obviously you do (listen to arthur rubinstein e.g)

    3. it's green or blue whatever screen, because no one would let you play on such a scene with slippers on, what leads to:

    4. don't wear your house slippers when you're wearing a smoking

    but nice job

  • @PureSoulProductions It's a green screen because you can't hear the real acoustic of the place. If it were in that location the sound would be like if it were in an empty church or something like. But it's just a theory :P. You probably edited the sound, bla bla bla

  • @PureSoulProductions It's perfectly obvious to me as a non-pro that it's not green screen. Partly because I doubt if there's a screen that big anywhere in the world but mostly because why? But please tell; where did you hide the mike?

  • @nuclian Audio was pre-recorded in studio.

  • It's funny if you believe in this being green screen, it kinda looks like it even to my eyes. lol. I don't blame you guys.

  • AMAZING! But oops, this happens to be Asian again... :P

  • @HySipher Any problem him being an Asian?

  • @PureSoulProductions haha what? no! Im's just kidding! btw Im asian too... ;)

  • @HySipher oh gosh...what is "Im's"? *I was

  • @HySipher Aight B.

  • @PureSoulProductions haha yes...Asians are awesome!! I didnt mean to be rude and if that offended you, I'm sorry :( But Im chinese so... Im proud of being asian! :)))

  • @HySipher LOL. Linsanity here in NYC!

  • @ezjapanesecooking hahaha right ;)

  • @PureSoulProductions Not at all. The phrase "Asians" is frequent, new used joke about the skills that asian race has. If you search through the web you will find it for sure. Its not racist, and im sorry if you got insulted.

    Love Peace and Happyness <3

  • @Pel0r Happiness* :D

  • @Pel0r OK. I was wondering "what's going on here with all the Asian reference?".

  • this is an inspiration for me, im learning guitar, and you makes me grow up my level, my feeling, about the guitar, thanks! from Colombia

  • I love the guitar, but this piece is for piano only piano, Chopin=Piano.

  • "Asians"

  • @Pel0r Any problem with "Asians"?

  • NICE TO SEE THIS GUY PLAYING A YAMAHA... PROBABLY A CG180S OR 190S... LOOK AT THE HEADSTOCK AND CATCH A GLIMPSE OF THE INSIDE LABEL.... THESE ARE FANTASTIC GUITARS....

  • し◯∨モ刀 工丅! Very well played! がんばれよ!

  • He'll be fine with more practice and some work on his phrasing. ALOT of work went into getting to this point. Well done.

  • i love this video

  • I like the concert saloon but arrangement is not good, I don't like it.

  • ASIANS.

  • @CharlieSabbath What about it? ASIANS?

  • who is the player?

  • @billkchi He is anonymous.

  • @PureSoulProductions if so, where's his mask!!!!?? :p

  • Many awkward pauses in this performance.

  • some songs are just meant for piano...but i still thought this was incredible

  • This is a beautiful piece arranged for guitar, despite this, I think he is not the appropriate guitarist to play this arrangement, but also I think he could make it sound better.

  • Amazing. Does anyone know where that theatre is?

  • @mrzottibrazil Gotham Hall, NYC.

  • what happen at 3.06

  • i think sound can be better

  • level ? Asiatic .

  • I didn't know there was a guitar arrangement of ths nocturne, does anybody know where to get the sheet music?

  • @patapirate Try classtab.org.

  • perfecto

  • IMPUSSIBRU!

  • Disproving everything everyone's saying there is indeed a lens like that there is a shadow but it's faint and below him I dunno if you guys are blind but it's pretty clearly there and his guitar playing really isn't bad he's quite good it sounds fantastic you guys are just a bunch of pricks trying to fuck up someones day because you have small penises

  • @johnnybernardman Tell 'em!

  • Keep up man, don't listen to trolls and stuff... Awesome video, your version was very good. Best regards from a fellow musician

  • @Manu220798 Thanks!

  • @PureSoulProductions you're welcome!

  • HAVE A NICE DAY!

  • HATERS HATE NO MATTER WHAT. THAT'S THEIR WAY OF LIFE. WE JUST GOT TO LIVE WITH IT. LOL.

  • I've never heard this nocturne played on Guitar. Your rendition was so beautiful, technically stunning and so emotional. Great job!

  • @avivadawn Thank you!

  • Lol, that guitar looks exactly like my Yamaha CG-101A...

  • @Raistlin605 I think it's Yamaha.

  • Love it

  • @prabutora Thanks!

  • Beautifully done. I also really appreciate the song selection.

  • @pixelmoshgreg Welcome!

  • Lol, on the side shots you can see the fucking shadows in angle and following him. And it could be a fisheye with shallow depth of focus, which explains the curvature of the background when it does distance shots. Even IF it's fake, shut the fuck up, its a guy who took the time to record a professionally made video and tried to post something nice for us and your all bitching about it. Always thought that classical musicians could find the finer details in things but i guess there just as whiny

  • @Supertasticaquatics blue screen is used here, still, good piece

  • @ZakharovPetitbon Dude, what do you know about blue or green screen?

  • :O! Asombroso :D!

  • @Davani89 Thanks!

  • @Tmonota LOL!

  • @Tmonota LMAO! You still saying green screen. You have no clue. Total amateur. Have a nice day and thank you for a laugh!

  • I WON'T RESPOND TO AMATEUR TROLLS ANYMORE, GREEN SCREEN ETC. SO GUESS WHATEVER YOU WISH TO FEEL AS IF YOU ARE AN EXPERT WHILE YOU REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT. LOL.

  • @Tmonota Dude, amateurs like you don't know what you are talking about. No green screen. Obvious if you know how lens works. Too many amateurs pretending to be an expert. Just comical. lol.

  • whats wrong with these ppl. so what if its a green screen? so what if the mic out of phase? he's sharing the music so lets just enjoy it. talk and talk as if you can play it perfect pfft

  • @captjazzelle EXACTLY!!

  • @krowmusic You are welcome. I like how he plays Nocturne personally.

  • @krowmusic Music was pre-recorded in studio as you see no mic in the video. No green screen. Hope you are happy now and can sleep well.

  • @caperneoignis I used 2 lights from about 45 degrees angle on both sides. As you can see in the wide shot, this place has some nice lights from above, so I just supplemented to light him up nicely. Are you an expert in photo/video? This speculation thing is getting crazy. lol. I take it as a compliment.

  • @caperneoignis Sorry, but there's no truth in your green screen guessing. I hate doing green screen because it can turn out to be a very fake looking slight green on the edge of the subject nightmare. To do this video with green screen will require much more work than just shoot it on location. It just makes me laugh when some people are trying to be smart and getting totally wrong. I just take it as an entertainment and not an offense. Cheers.

  • @caperneoignis No, it's not green screen. You got it wrong. It just makes me laugh when people talk as if they were there and know everything. lol.

  • i like, tabs please anyway.

  • weird rhythm... xD but still good

  • Laws of physics just called, they want to apply shadows to the player.

  • @OktoberStorm The 70s just called, they want their joke back.

  • @mowdelon Tell them it's mine now.

  • @OktoberStorm lol. there's no talking to them. They're always too high.

  • @krowmusic *hear :P

  • @krowmusic U fail liek a troll bro

  • great job but my only thought is that classical guitar (believe I have played it for over 15 yrs) cannot sustain notes like a piano and chopin needs that sustain to give it its beauty. Notes die much too quickly when plucked on classical. Anyway this is good though!

  • magnificently

  • I agree with some that this is not the cleanest performance, but at the end of the day, it all comes down to whether you produced something likable or not. My vote is this is a lovely piece and a lovely performance. Thanks a lot for sharing.

  • @krowmusic You are free to guess whatever you want.

  • @billthegeek33 Someone's jealous...

  • excelente video pero al guitarrista le falta mucho

  • it's wonderful!!!!:D

  • @billthegeek33 excuse me but had chopin, there are rubatos is normal and it slows down! then clearly it is you who does not know much about music!!

  • It'll be very boring if anybody plays this on exact timing to metronome. No emotion. I'm simply amazed at such a comment.

  • I respect opinions of those who thinks he's not a good guitarist, but I like his performance / interpretation better than KAARE NORGE's. This one is much more emotional and I feel it. KAARE NORGE's performance for me is somewhat emotionless and nonchalant.

  • Did anyone notice there is a little chair under his left foot. ^^

  • @Prnzkamil Because sometimes your feet need to sit down also. :D

  • It's amazing, I MUST get that sheet music. Someone has it?

  • I don't know what everyone is complaining about. I think his interpretation of it, stumbling across the notes is a lot more like an emotional human experience. you know there are some things that are beautiful performed, but real feelings are not orchestrated, they are a jumble of things that come out in whatever way they want.

  • I haven't seen guitar (published) like this before - the musician has obviously not rehearsed enough to play it correctly, but I think it's nice. It shows the brilliance of the classical guitar - it deserves time and patience. And as my guitar teacher always says: you can never play it just correctly - the pieces will grow with you and you will always be able to find something to adjust.

  • if your think you're good at something .. there will always appear an asian out of nothing ;D

  • Hermoso <3

  • Love his rendition of the song! I like this performance better than some big name guitarists out there. I don't know the technical stuff in guitar playing, but the way he plays this song is really moving.

  • I like it...why people say that he need practice or he is not professional? In my opinion, anyone who can express emotion through music is called a professional or a professional musician!

    Bravo!

  • so perfect!... well done

  • BRAVO to the awesome performance AND the most awesome video!

  • VERY GOOD

  • professional video but not the guitarist:)

  • this place is so fabulous!

  • El sonido es muy metálico, el ataque con los dedos debería ser de uña y yema para el sonido redondo y dulce...Mis felicitaciones para el editor del video...

  • @Guitarrista7777 ademas de q le falta interpretación pero en general no es malo el vídeo

  • I love how he plays this song! Better than anything out there on guitar.

  • you were using yamaha guitar there, weren't you?

  • Tabs?

  • Preciosa interpretación, hermosa!!

  • creo q la sexta cuerda de su guitarra esta desafinada :/

  • intonation or tuning is a it out.

  • The bass tones coming from your guitar are epic.

  • this must have 10 million views.

  • I should play this to anyone who thinks Chopin can't be played on guitar

  • there's a lot of tension in that right hand - and i dont dig the brightness of this performance, also it sounds like he doesnt get good preparation before he strikes the strings - im hearing A LOT of nail scratching. I'd be shocked to find that this kid was actually a "professional" guitarist. but to each their own. Normal people wouldnt know the difference but a trained guitarist can spot these things in an instant.

  • @xXConfuocoXx I agree, but I can't find this arrangement anywhere, so I'd guess he transcribed it himself, or maybe his mentor, but he is has potential and you can't deny that. I wish I had the notes or tablature for this arrangement! transcribing this would take at least a few days

  • So beautiful. The performance is beautiful, the music is beautiful, the guitar is beautiful and so does the guitarist. :">~

  • he plays good,, in fact, better than me, but i think he plays better...

    watch?v=c8X2jyoW0Fg

    mi humble opinion..

  • the guitar sounds nice (:

  • this guy do it better watch?v=fIL1Vl78tpI&feature=related

  • vary nice. thank you for sharing

  • The guitarlist is also cute :) I thought he was Japanese.

  • @hiro7477 no one give a shit how he look , what matter is how he play ,

  • Wow.

  • your performance brought me to tears... that was absolutely incredible

  • Wonderful interpretation! Who is the performer?

  • Superb vid ! But i don't like some passage where i've the impression that it's choped.

  • Take a bow, mate!

    Regards,

    Pranjal

  • this is awesome, but his E string is flat...

  • beautiful piece

  • Where and what is this place?

  • @ikebanaJc Gotham Hall, NYC.

  • @PureSoulProductions

Yeah but the guy was obviously edited into it.

  • great Job ....

  • Amazing play! And great video as well.
