  • BnZunni.

Buen Contenido. ♪♫

  • After the Conquest, music still played an important role on every cleberation in the towns of Oaxaca. This is a great example of Sacred Brass. Responsories for the Holy Week, kept the traditional structure of Italian Concertinos (Slow-Fast-Slow Movements). Friars made transcriptions, but some are the own compositions of local musicians during the mid 1800's when brass and woodwind were tought, which had their particular style and technique, making every piece unique and special. Good Content! ♪♫
