Sorry, this is too simply song to be bothered for just tutorial. Just try to find the midi file with this piano intro and then download this handy little midi player called 'MegaMID' which I use for learning songs without notes as it shows you the keys indicating what are being played! And it's freeware too!
In fact the sound IS exactly same! It's just different processing how and what Vangelis used and that makes it a bit different... besides this CP-60M have already build-in graphic equalizer.
there is no anything to show you about midi capabilities. It can send midi, have only note messages with great velocity and sustain pedal sends midi too. Then there is midi split button in which you can split keyboard anywhere you want to have one zone sending midi and other one is not sending... that's all.
How should I know??? I am creative and spontaneous musician and I never care about theoretical and mathematical parts of the music. The feeling of the music is themost important thing for me and I play always as I feel it to be.
Nicely done....did you have the sheet music to this or was it by ear?....if you do have the sheet music , where can I go to get it? If you did it by ear....Nice work
Both, but in fact I can't read notes. I just used a midi song as a source of notes I found from somewhere... but it's more important to listen original song because those midis are rarely so correct.
In USA they can go pretty cheap but in Europe... sorry but you have to be extremely lucky to be able to find CP piano for sale.. without even talking about the condition!!! Original models CP70, CP-70b and CP-80 were made already in 1978! And these newer 80' models (1986?) CP-70M, CP-80M and CP-60M are even more rare and expensive!

Nice sounding... sounds very close to an acoustic until around 0.55 and then the CP nature comes through...
