Eydie Gorme y Los Panchos do an awesome cover of this song. I think Eydie's version is way better than Ersi or Bertha. No offense to these ladies...they are very talented, but Eydie is a much more accomplished singer...that's just a fact.

SABOR A MI is a bolero written by the great Alvaro Carrillo in Mexicos Golden Era.We still haven't been able to equal that incredible talent of yester year.Song Writers like Alvaro Carrillo,Agustin lara,Conzuelo Velasquez,Roberto Cantoral y Maria Grever...and so on,WOW tough act to follow. The point is " Sabor A Mi " is a song that has been sung by many great voices and to compare Erzi Arvizu with Bertha interpetion of Sabor A Mi...IT'S A TUFF 1 !

In response to all the negative people posting ridiculous comments Bertha is a well known and established singer in her own right. She simply was trying to maintain the integrity of the song. Ive heard her sing this song live and she blew me away. To all those using the word disrespect, look up the definition. Ersi, lives in Arizona and is actually a boxing trainer! I don't know if she still does it, since I haven't seen her in so long, but I do know she lives in AZ and is a very nice lady.

No one is putting down the singer, she has a very good voice what Ersi's fans are saying is that her voice is unique BUT!the person who posted the video put on thier Heading that this is the way the song should be sung, now that is disrespectful to EL Chicano and to Ersi. It was wonderful to see Ersi get a standing obvation at the greek when she came on stage and through the whole song and even when she exited! That goes to show how much her fans love her and what she means to the raza!

whoever shot this video was a real amateur. the singer sings well, but she needs to stop imitating ERSI ARVIZU. Ersi has a unique sound, that is what sets her apart from other singers. A message to Bertha: You sing very well, but be yourself, create your own sound. By the way I picked up Ersi's new CD "FRIEND FOR LIFE"...IT IS AWESOME.....GOD BLESS YOU ERSI FOR KEEPING YOUR VOICE ALIVE:)

Whoever posted this video should be ashamed of themselves! Obviously they do not know the TRUE voice of the Queen Of East LA! Ersi's voice is unique and can not be confused with others. The women in this video is good but is not Ersi and all the true Ersi fans can tell. This is disgraceful to try and pass this off as Ersi! If you want to hear the song sung right she will be making a special apperance with the group May 25 @ the Greek Theater and will be singing the RIGHT way! DISGRACEFUL!

Ersi Arvisu was the original singer of "Sabor a Mi." I'm not sure if this is she. Ersi has a voice that can be confused with that of a male. The original by Ersi is the greatest version that I have ever heard. This version is good but is far from that of the original LP disc.
