  • Little Jerry Should Play A Guitar In This Sketch!

  • The Sketch Should Be Set In A Stage,

Which Is Also Used For "You're Alive",

    "Thinking Of 'U'", Etc.

  • GO LITTLE JERRY!!!!!!

  • FTW

  • RIP Richard Hunt

  • Long Live Jeff Moss!!!!!!!

  • RIP Jeff Moss

  • Wish They Could COULD Tape This Sketch!!!!!

  • cooooooooooooool

  • This is my list of performers to do the lip sync:

Little Jerry (Green) - Matt Vogel (most likely)

    Chrissie (Lavender) - David Rudman

    Richard (Pumpkin) - Martin Robinson

Big Jeffy (Fat Blue) - Kevin Clash

  • @1RichardHunt Good Choices however I think Jeff and Richard would be better switched around and I say there should be an announcer voiced by Rick Lyon (okay that's enough about Rick Lyon) yeah but the Pumpkin Monotone's name is supposed to be Rockin' Richard not Maximum Marty or if is Marty Robinson performing him what about Musical Martin? (Monotones have two names)

  • @1RichardHunt That Could Work

  • I was born in the 70s so I had a few records from Sesame Street, but not this one. What a treat!

  • Thumbs up if you think the Beetles would sound cool singing this song!

  • One of my favorite Little Jerry and the Monotones song ever.

  • @Dekobee Me 2

  • i wish someone would load the other tracks from this album

  • that song sounds 50ish

  • Big Jeffy's voice cracks me up

  • @Nicwuzhere yeah same love how he says four

  • Had this record-still know the words, this was my favorite....

  • thanks for for adding this! i have been looking for this for years! i grew up on this! :)

  • I wouldn't mind seeing them again... but the only problem I belive is that the puppet for Rockin' Richard probably got messed up somehow.

  • Comment removed

  • I'm starting to think now it MAY have been possible that this was also performed on the show; just shown rarely.

  • Comment removed

  • An assumption.

  • @wattamack4: Do you think "Four" could have been seen on the show? If so, then I hope Chrissy and Richard have the right voices. Otherwise, Chrissy with Richard's voice would sound almost like Disco Stu from the Simpsons. x-D

  • @TelephoneRock4ever:I really doubt it. I think it was pretty much album-only and the cast already assumed the viewers knew which characters had their regular voices.

  • Comment removed

  • And besides, Chrissy's name was already changed to "Little Richie" (for reasons unknown, but I think I might know why, and you can PM me on the details), so I doubt it'd even work now.

  • Comment removed

  • If you ask me, I think they're pretty much in the trash by now.

P.S. yeah, that's what I was sort of thinking, but I'll pm you on the main details.

  • Oh, don't say that.

  • Well, I'm not sure, but just don't be negative about yourself.

  • Looks like Big Jeffy and Dr. Teeth have the same tailor!

  • The tune is fairly similar to that of "I'm Gonna Always Love You" from The Muppets Take Manhattan.

  • Well, you could be right, wattamack4. The music video for Mountain of Love looks like it's from the 90's.

  • linjunqiang, Telephone Rock was recorded in 1974, and Mountain of Love wasn't recorded until sometime during the 80's (I think). This song is from 1977, and no, the performers didn't change, except for Mountain of Love, where Jeff Moss performed Rockin' Richard.

  • I heard that Mountain Of Love was made in 1990.

Also, I still think they had Rockin' Richard in that song as Big Jeffy, due to the fact that Jeffy was being used with Little Chrissy and the Alphabeats.

  • Is there a change in the cast of little jerry? Comparing with the song telephone rock and mountain of love, this sounds different.

  • You know, wattamack4, if Jerry Nelson died or left, I'd say Kevin Clash would be a very good current performer for Little Jerry, by simply using his Elmo voice for the voice of Little Jerry.

  • Maybe... it'd just be a pain to hear him talk EXACTLY like Elmo though.

  • I can't really imagine Joey Mazzarino performing Rockin' Richard. If you've heard him perform Ready Stan on the Sesame Workshop resource video "Happy, Healthy, Ready for School," you'll get the idea.

Furthermore, Tyler Bunch could do Rockin' Richard, because I've heard him perform Ready Eddie from that same resource video, and the voice just sounds right.

  • Comment removed

  • Now you tell me. I just saw the Dr. No sketch, and the James Bond muppet sounded like Don Music.

Oh well. If Joey Mazzarino could perform James Bond and Ready Stan, then I guess he has a good voice range.

  • What about Little Jerry if Jerry Nelson died/left? (And personally, I think Jerry Nelson is pretty close to dying, unfortunetly).

  • Comment removed

  • Just copy and paste the link. ;)

  • I saw it, it looks pretty good, but it doesn't look as good of an artwork as I could do.

  • Paint is all I can really do.

  • Members of Little Jerry and the Monotones (in order of appearance):

    1. Little Jerry

    2. Chrissy

    3. Rockin' Richard

    4. Big Jeffy

  • "Numbers" is one of my favorite childhood records. It's also one of the few Sesame Street LPs to make the transition to CD. I wish there were more of them! Do you happen to have "Ernie's Hits," by any chance? I would give my left arm to hear "Tiger Hunt" again!

  • Rockin Richard sounds a lot like Janice, since he's performed by my main man, Richard Hunt.

  • @muppetfan33: He does! Janice has a similar voice, but more feminine. Everytime I hear her, I'm reminded of Rockin' Richard, which is almost uncanny. :-)

  • omg. same as every beat of my heart song.

  • Big Jeffy sound like Patrick Warburton in this one.

  • Hey! You found it! I haven't heard this one in years.

  • I haven't heard this one at all.

  • Comment removed

  • Pretty cool.

  • Awesome find, wattamack_4_: I'd never heard this song and was pretty curious about how it went!

  • Hey Wattamack4. This is really cool. I have never heard this before. Could you upload some more tunes from this album?

  • I don't have the album,I just got this from Bahgwan's Little Jerry and the monotones Yahoo group.

  • anyone have links to the other songs from this one?

  • It's nice to hear the Monotones voice. Love Rockin' Richard's the best!

haha, It's also the same melody as "With Every Beat of my Heart"

    5/5

  • Yeah, I noticed the melody similarity! "With Every Beat of My Heart" is mellow and romantic, whereas in here it's energetic and fun. Flip sides!

I may have a major crush on Rockin' Richard now. That voice......

  • hehe...I'm w/ you ^^; I totally adore Richard's voice as well! It's cute. :) Heck. I totally ♥ Chrissy for many reasons lol...

  • Oh? I have to ask, but for what reasons? :-)

  • lol...i love his black curls, and his voice :O (especially when Richard Hunt performs him, and Chris Cerf as well) :P ♥ Heck, I remember having a crush on Little Jerry several years ago. :P

  • Hey, I love Chrissy for those reasons, too! :-D Him, Richard, and Little Jerry are the ones I have a crush on.

  • Lol, Big Jeffy will feel left out though.

  • I know, I know, ha ha. But he's not cute, he's good-looking. There's a difference. ;-)

  • lol. @ least his words in most of the Monotone songs are sensitive, especially in "Sad" and "W/ Every Beat of my Heart." >:P

  • hehe...me too. I have to agree that Richard's voice is sexy, especially in the intro. D: lol ♥ I remeber having a little crush on the Backup singers from Little Chirssy's band. :O :P

  • Hey, me too!

    But which one?

  • Both I guess. lol ^^

  • Yeah, I'll go with both. The green one's good-looking and so is the lavender one, but the lavender one has a great bass voice! ^_^

  • sweet

  • Dude, AMack my man, I love this Little Jerry Video so so much, that song is totally kick ass in my book, say I was wondering if you can make more originals I can help you out with like How Now Brown and the Moo Wave do Chocolate Rain and Little Chrissy and the Alphabeats do You're the Best around from the Karate Kid and also Little Jerry and the Monotones do Enter Sandman by Metallica also so whadyathink AMack, good ideas or what, lemme know soon k, thnx

  • Um,well,I'm not sure...depends on who the record company for those songs are.

  • Very nice! Plus, it's nice to hear Rockin' Richard's voice.

  • It is, isn't it?

And a little later on into the song, I heard a teeny bit of Little Chrissy in Chrissy's voice.

  • Interestingly, alot of Cer's "singing" characters sound ALOT alike.

For example, Chrissy, Little Chrissy, and How Now Brown sound alot alike to me.

  • Well, to me, Little Chrissy and How Now Brown sound different when they sing.

You know what's funny? Because of the name and voice similarities, it's really easy for people to confuse Chrissy with Little Chrissy. :-P

  • That actually happened quite a while back on Muppet wiki in 2006.

  • first view and comment nice video btw xD
