shit wingy is in this a lot but his best wave was at 1:04 doing the drop knee free fall down the face :) the best wave out of the whole video is the one where the guy drops down the face (only a little bit) only to get sucked over by the surge at 1:40 or the wave at 1:50 where he drops down the face and still powers on, sick charging :)

I'm pretty sure that someone who's spent 42 years surfing round the globe would know that

a) many many waves do that

b)its called surging, not "pulling themselves inside out

technically its cavitating . there water comes off the reef and it starts sucking air. Its unusual at low tides at surf spots..its rare at high tide. Any place where its common is not know as a surf spot , but an anomoly . I admit i dumbed myself down a bit for the sake of this crowd..lol

hahaha didn't know that's what it was called. At my reef the whole inside is a surge, high or low, until it gets deep enough to barrel, and around the east coast of aus there's heaps of waves that surge. but then my area is an anomoly...

This wave is my favorite wave. Great to get out there and get barrels. When it get too crowded I head over to deadmans and usually bodyboard it alone. Just don't get caught inside, thats all ya gotta worry about.. Cheers and thanks for posting!
