  • You could go to Disneyland for that much

  • It just seems to me as someone tried to make a bridge across the grand canyon but got scared and turned around and made a U

  • @xxkera722

    Good point :(

  • Fuck the greedy redskin indians that charge 80 bucks to go out on the skywalk

  • @MegaSpongebob94 In case you havent noticed, we kinda stole a ton of land from them in the first place.

  • "Keep moving! Come on you gotta keep moving! Keep it moving!" SHUT THE FUCK UP I PAYED 30 DOLLARS FOR THIS!

  • What a joke this is. They don't even let you stand there long enough to enjoy it.

  • I would laugh if someone threw a used tampon in that trash and he had to push it down so it wouldn't fly off!

  • woops drop the camera !

  • no zajebicie ,,,jankesi macie po czym w powietrzu chodzic :))

  • holy crap cool

  • all of a sudden it breaks and everyone screams but superman comes along

  • How do those constructino workers make it??? I mean, we're scared like hell when we step on it, but how about those workers that made it?

  • @SimmerLady Aliens...lol!!

  • There might be a lot of people waiting to get on - so it seems not out of the ordinary that they would as them to hurry along - besides they may have not been paying customers.

  • Don't like the way that nothing is supporting it expect itself, I don't wanna go on it :(

  • -keep moving

    -FUCK OFF

  • Wow this is sad....the Grand Canyon selling out.

Money is all people care about these days.

  • @TRazor88

These days? You really shouldn't mistake your recent observations made in your short life for an accurate perspective on the world and "people". Since money determines how comfortable one is in this world, even you are not immune to its charms. This is not meant to be insulting so please do attempt to find flaws in my statement or start an argument. Thanks and happy youtubing man.

  • i hate people that say"keep it moving...keep it moving people"....i drove so many f------ miles to see a canyon..let me enjoy it... -_-

  • Rip off..this is the western rim go to US national park from flagstaff ..better view and you can go down too for free...

  • Rip offf

  • HODAJU KO PO JAJCA... ;)) axaxa

  • So, If I was on it and I heard "KEEP MOVING!" I would just run through at full throttle and make everyone else run as fast as me even old grandmothers and I would run and run and not care because nobody can run as fast as me.

  • Will how can you enjoy such wonders of the world have someone with a microphone tell you to move i guess i go 50 feet away form that place go look all day

  • if that skywalk would of fell they would have been shittin their pants lol hey shit happens

  • don't waste your time or money......F-ing Indians

  • Complete ripoff..a family of 4 could take a helicopter tour for less money and see a hell of a lot more! Word of mouth is already killing off the tourists....visitors are down almost 70% since word of this tourist trap/highway robbery has gotten out...save your cash-look over the edge anywhere else-same view......

  • If you wana see the Grand canyon...drive the extra 2 hours and go to the US National Park which is 55mi North of Williams Arizona. USNat Park charges $25 per CAR, NO camera fees, NO extra fees. The view from the edge is just as impressive as the skywalk.

Skywalk is a RIP OFF !

  • Skywalk IS A SCAM

Adult $43 ea entrance fee + $30 ea skywalk fee + Pictures extra $20 and up

Child has only a 10% discount...if they can walk they pay.

No cameras or phone cameras allowed on skywalk.

Lots of security in yellow shirts pushing you screaming "move it along"

After this they feed you a subpar meal and you visit a different place quano point.

That averages out to $70 per person minimum (more with pictures)...serious rip off.

  • i went on it you have to do it also get a helicopter ride to the bottem

  • They should make a arch bridge but for walking like the one in hooverdam its freakin huge

  • This thing is owned and operated by the indian tribes.. I dont know about you, but I damn sure dont trust no indians.

  • Appropriate that it resembles a large animal trap. This thing couldn't be any more of a tourist trap than if they lined it with jagged metal teeth and attached a huge spring to it.

At least if you go to the Sears Tower ledge (another glass floor attraction) it only costs $15, you haven't wasted an entire day getting in, you get to take your own pictures, no one shouts at you to hurry so they can fleece the next sucker, and you get to look at downtown Chicago instead of a bunch of rocks.

  • pay to walk on it?...what a rip off.....I wouldn't walk on that thing if you paid ME.

  • @Reeda1414 There's no kinda damn way in hell you could get me to walk on a glass platform hanging over the grand canyon lmao. Hell. No.

  • The Skywalk is NOT WORTH IT!!!! Just a few hundred yards away you can walk to the edge of the canyon for free look over and get better views. You also are not allowed to take your own pictures but have the option to pay a ridiculous amount of money for a picture done by them on top of the ridiculous amount of money you already paid to walk on this. I regret spending the money on this trap, it seriously was a waste.

  • if that guy told me to keep moving i would just push him off the canyon right there.

  • scribd (dot) com/nb812

  • LOL! sigh at 0:39 says executive..hehehe there all gonna die!

  • It was an awesome experienced even if you have vertigo...no problemat all for the 4 people in my party. Good Spring Break 2010 Liked the Military discount, thanks!

  • We received Military discount of 15% for the bus and the Sky Walk, we had a flight into the small airport there from Las Vegas, and had to ride the bus, even though it was at a walking distance...The glass that was broken was replaced by a metal sheet, the glass is already all scratched up and I understood the reason not to take any personal items into the bridge, is to protect it from the objects falling on the glass, and braking it.

  • If they were forthcoming about all the fees involved, I would not have a problem. But once someone goes to the trouble of driving there on tedious, unpaved roads and wastes all that time, you are almost committed to paying all these fees if you don't want to feel like you haven't COMPLETELY wasted your time. This tactic is sneaky, and underhanded. I would NEVER recommend this to ANYONE. Drive a little further down the road and see the canyon for next to free, its a muuuuch better idea.

  • ...Say that (somehow) you are still in a cheery enough mood to get your picture taken. The employees will snap your photo for an additional $20. All in all, we as a group spent more money on this "attraction" than we did for our hotel room for a several day's stay in Vegas. Do yourself a favor and save your money for the blackjack table, hell even burning the money would have given me more joy than the feeling of being manipulated and taken advantage of that I got at this place. RIDICULOUS!

  • ...After realizing the total bill for our three-man party is $225, they inform you that no personal affects are allowed on the skywalk and enforce this via security checkpoints and metal detectors. But don't worry if you've forgotten to leave your items in your car prior to the bus ride, they are more than happy to loan you a locker (for a price!). Once you get out on the walk, you are kept at a distance from the edge so that viewing the bottom is damn near impossible...

  • Avoid this attraction at all costs!!

We just drove from Las Vegas to the famed skywalk today and were met with extortionate, underhanded business tactics. First, you drive roughly 50 miles through a shitty town and a 20 mile winding DIRT road which ends up being about a 1.5 hour diversion just to get to the FIRST checkpoint. Once there, you have to pay to take the MANDATORY bus ride to the damn thing and the entrance fee to get on it (two separate fees). This comes to about $75 / person....

  • Lmao you cant even see through the glass because there is so much glare from light!

  • once a torust gets on that skywalk a few seconds later you see them shag ass out of there...lol

  • if you are called luke, are you then a luke skywalker?

  • Lol a 500 pound weight limit ''sir you can not get on''

;;some one un wraps a twenkie''

''agg NO agg NO aggggggg NO SIR WAIT LIMIT PLEASE!!!

    AGGG!1

SHIT SHIT SHIT GET OFF THE BRIDGE AHHHHH!

BOOM!!! SUPPORT BEAM 1 IS DOWN 5 PPL HAVE JUST FELL OFF SOME JACK ASS PARKED HIS CAR RIGHT ON THE BRIDGE WE CANT GET OUT CRACK! SUPPORT BEAM 2 IS GOING DOWN GET THE FUCK OFF THE BRIDGE!

    Buzz:See ya bitchs my parachut!

Bang Bang!! you shot me you bitch...

Bang Bang yeah see we going down togeather!

    see yeah!

  • As for now, only four people have fallen down and died from the skywalk. The glass beneath them broke for two of them, while the other two was unfortunately thrown out because they started to fight.

Fortunately, the glass have now been replaced by stronger ones.

  • They should all jump at the same time >:)

  • scary

  • scribd (dot) com/nb812

  • perched on the edge of a cliff with expensive equipement trying to get that great shot during a heavy windstorm.

    smart

  • SNARKY

  • all of a sudden it breaks and everyone screams

  • @killallwemust LMFAO NICE

  • half of people there are walking like they be have sh*t pants...

  • crack

  • I wish I could jump off with a parachute and then a black hole could be made all of a sudden and take me forward into the future or another dimension and I could understand everything and I mean everything (the universe, the dead, life, chemistry, mathematics, quantum mechanics).

  • understanding the universe and life would be too much for you to handle. I Personally believe there is an edge to the universe. would i give my life to find out? ..... i would never answer that question.

  • is a lid for a rubbish bin so expensive in america that they would rather hire someone to stop rubbish flying out?

  • In our case the problem is with the rubbish coming in. We don't build any lids or hire anyone to stop it from coming in either. Apparently some of us like rubbish.

  • Its not rubbish. You wear special covers for your shoes so you don't scratch the glass. They collect them at the end of the bridge.

  • i want to be the bin man at the end!!!!

  • cool

  • I want to take a shit on the skywalk

  • I want to take it FROM the skywalk, into the canyon man !

  • so bueatiful

  • coool. that`s awesome !

  • braindonater you fucking scumbag i am from poland and what i think ive got better job then you.

And ive got beautiful girl not like ur fat ass like all in usa and canada so fuck you asshole.

Fat American :D hahaha move ur lazy ass fucker

  • I beg ur pardon i don't know who was dissing you but, us Canadians didn't need to be dragged in on this argument on the fucking 7th wonder of the world...just chill man...and for ur information Canada is neither fat nor assholes so just leave us out of it!

  • Man i got dizzy just by seeing this video! dam! scaaarey!

  • i've been wanting to go there 4 the longest time and i live 70 miles away!

  • I went there....pretty view until you look down. The guy made me jump twice for a picture.

  • nice building

  • It seems pretty annoying that someone keeps yelling.."Keep Moving"..

  • @butterp7 And it costs $200.00 just to walk on it and its owned by the indians!!

  • sooo beautiful

  • Recently i went and walked on it..It is pretty expensive:$69 ,if you want a photograph on it then add another$30,because you cannot take your own photographs on it.Some one asked is it a lifetime experience and one fellow getting down from it said "YES IF YOU JUMP FROM IT".

  • Im going to kill myself there

  • Base jump!! anyone done this yet???

  • Oh yeah!

I have a FLiK 293 burning a hole in an Apex DP container in my closet. I'm on the east coast and I plan on moving west in Dec 09!

    To Be Continued...

  • the thing at the end with the open trash can in the wind goes to show just how stupid and lazy americans are: millions of dollars spent on this skywalk and they could not invest a measly $200 for a garbage can with a chute that closes with no chance of plastic escaping in the wind. yeah let's just hire a W.O.P. to stand there and break his back all day and hope the wind doesn't blow too hard.

  • dude its just for the things they wear on they're feet... they're not dumping anything else in it. us americans are smart enough not to waste $200 on something that will not accumulate to much

  • I was there a couple of weeks ago on a coach trip from Las Vegas.

Thought I wouldn't be scared - WRONG - I was OK until I looked down and saw birds flying below me. The gibbering started around then.

It's expensive but you get plenty of time at the 3 sites and we had lunch provided too, and buses between the sites are included.

We weren't moved along the Skywalk and didn't feel rushed. It was a wonderful experience.

The souvenirs are rather crappy and expensive though.

  • I am going to go there... but I wiil wear a diaper...

  • there is no way i'd ever get out on that

  • my god, im so scared of heights i could never do that, are they crazy?!?!

  • This this cool but I'am scared of hights and this scares the hell out of me lol

  • ummmmm......i did keep moving right on past the skywalk attraction to the next veiwing point! thanks for nuttin!

  • There is always someone who has to ruin everything. Why do people have to make such negative comments. If you don't like it , don't go there. In time the fees will be lower. I would love to go see this. I've been to the Canyon in the late 70s and "Everyone" see it at least once in your life. Take your Kids, your Grandkids, Just go and see this Massive Beautiful Canyon....

Your negative comments are Juvenile at best Get a life and quit spoiling mine! You Make comments that are not true.

  • If they said "keep moving" to me I'd say "screw you'. Its cost $400 for a family of 4 to walk across this thing, I'm not going to keep moving.

  • Lame. I thought it was a big scarry open thing over the canyon. Its just a narrow walkway. Its not even the Grand Caynon; its of off-shoot.

  • Fun if they all jumped at the same time so the glass cracked :D

  • wicked thought mate!!!

but i doubt it'll even scratch. & numbr of ppl on it are limited at once.

  • Hahah ;) It was pretty much a joke :)

  • 80$FUCK YOU i'LL STAND THERE ALL FUCKING DAY

  • they should just get a lid for the garbage with a hole in it lol

  • that would be smart

  • WHO is yelling "KEEP MOVING"?? This is sort of a tourist ripoff/prison/Native American ripoff/ experience...that only the wealthy can afford. And it doesn't look like you can even SEE the bottem of the canyon...who the hell thought of this one...

  • Only a stoner would come up with an idea like that, and to go there stoned would be the ultimate high.

  • are you kidding me, 85 bucks and they make you keep moving...what does it take 2 min. to go around?

  • i believe it's around 30$ now

  • wait, you have to pay to walk around that peice of donkey anal secretion diarrhea fanny douche bag crap? what bibmo indian fag thouhgt of that? stupid oafs go make money somewhere else, like in the mcdonalds stock market or something, but dont mooch money of people to walk across a glass horseshoe, its like charging 25 cents to drink out of a water fountain

  • Comment removed

  • I'm not from the USA..but dickheadr I don't have to know where you are from..I just figure it's from some pooor shothole in the world..where there are no jobs, the women have hair under their armpits and bad teeth and basically a filthy country...in other words you are just some jealous dumbfuck.

  • crazy indians

  • I was in Vegas with my wife and two teen kids right before the opening in 2007. I decided to drive out there in a Mustang rental for a road trip (we were there a week). We made it to the access road off of the state road there. The access road is about 20 miles long and dirt, its HEAVILY rutted, still we had drove a couple hours so I pressed on. 2 miles in I turned around, I thought an axle would break. The tour operators were using Hummers and flying to make it smooth. Big time tourist trap.

  • Wouldn't catch me on that bridge.

  • How much is ticket for skywalk ?

  • when we went 85 bucks, and no cameras allowed.

  • For one person? Thank you !!!

  • I hope that it crashes and falls from stupid people doing stupid shit like jumping on it so stuipd people with from now on respect the danger of heights.

  • Fuck. Thats Som Crazy Ass Bridge

  • It would suck if that bridge fell when some on was on there.

  • holy schneikes...no spank u.lol

  • Oh god... do you imagine...

  • thats scary as shit lol !!!!

  • this thing is stupid, you're not allowed to JUST go to the skywalk you have to buy an all day tour which costs about $100 at the cheapest

  • why do they employ someone to push down rubbish so that it does not fly out into the canyon...??? Ever hear of a flip top bin .....stupid yanks...

  • that might be to scary for me

  • same here it looks highly breakable is in it looks like a death waiting to happen

  • KEEP MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVING

  • Lol like in army :D

  • oh hell no!!!

  • Wow!! The skywalk has to be one of the 7coolest unnatural wonders of the world! This would make a great trip coupled with a jeep tour (cameras allowed:).

  • what if someone fell through there?

  • they would die...

  • hahaha! thats too funny. lol

  • i went to vegas in march08 on holiday from england and the best way to see the canyon is by helicopter and its not expensive around 200dollars. its got to be the best thing i have ever done in my life! try it.

  • Do you realize how annoying helicopters and planes are to the people in the Canyon trying to enjoy nature? Next time do everyone a favor and take a walk.

  • if it wasnt for tourists like us visiting vegas and the canyon, spending billions of dollars every year, these places would be like shanty towns and most people living in these areas wouldnt be able to afford to live.

  • Actually if the federal government would give the mining and water rights back to the indians who own the land around the canyon they would be able to thrive financially. Because the federal govt ripped those resources out from under them they are forced to prostitute themselves out with stupid gimmicks like the skywalk and casinos to tourists in t-shirts. I ache for the day that Vegas dries up and blows away. The South Rim is an abomination against nature.

  • do you know how annoying are the airports to people living nearby while they are trying to enjoy their morning coffee? so are you suggesting to stop using airports too?

  • The vast majority of airports existed prior to the current neighbors moving in. The same can't be said for hiking/boating the canyon. People have been doing that since the dawn of time. Airports serve a necessary function. Recreational tourist planes and choppers serve only a selfish endeavor. Apples and oranges. Humans should only be as loud as the other animals in the park are being.

  • For $80 you should be able to actually stand and enjoy the view but those workers keep shouting 'Keep moving' which kind of ruins the whole experience..You pay that kind of money and then you have to keep walking while on it.. Like a herd of cattle. Looks like GREED to me.

  • i was there

  • Yes, the skywalk of Grand Canyon is so cool. I live in Arizona, yes, and I have been to the Grand Canyon for many times, but I have never been to the skywalk, my dad asked some old lady in a shop how much it was, and she said it was $80 a person, and I almost fainted. Weird people who like to steal your money. Thank you for the video, I absolutely <3 it, today I said I hated Arizona, because I was angry, but I was wrong, I love it, maybe just because of the Grand Canyon, wow.

  • Isn't it like $30 a visit? Hurry up and put my cash in your pocket my ass. I'll take my time, thank you very much.

  • i bet that bin's heavy by the time he's finished

  • fbairos go to suck a black dick, this is not the place for deliver your frustrations.

  • Your mom must be proud of your conduct.

  • She would make you shut up even with ruder forms.

  • tvgirlnyc, the topic is whether or not americans are foolish in comparison with the rest of the world for paying $90 for a skywalk tour. me, i think not. thats the topic at hand.

  • who?

  • I just was there and all I can say is that it's pretty awesome - the feeling you get when you look through the glass and are staring four thousand feet down and yet you aren't falling is pretty much an adrenaline rush gone haywire kind of thing - I'm thinking extreme sports fans would love to do this....

  • Keep moving!!

  • I would rather eat my own big toe than walk out on that thing!

  • same here lol, fuck that in 1 million years i would feel so wonky and scared walking out on that thing

  • if you slip your dead!

  • just like 2pac, he dead 2!!

  • is it really worth getting 20m further inside the canyon

  • thats wat i was thnkin

  • Oh, and that's how I want to enjoy nature:

Someone pushing me from behind saying "Move it! C'mon move it people!"

The stupidity of the American public never ceases to amaze me.

  • lol, it was probably opening day or the first week it opened??

  • You've obviously never traveled abroad.

  • What makes you say that?

  • Considering the number of non-US tourists the Grand Canyon attracts every year, and the number of foolish things promoted by non-american cultures around the globe, your Anti-American jab seems completely out of line. Thats all.

  • Anti-American jab? I see it as an honest assessment of my fellow Americans. I enjoy the company of individuals who aren't sheepishly attracted to every money-making swindle that comes down the pike. As I wrote in my previous comment: There are several hundred miles of rim surrounding the Grand Canyon. In one little point on the rim, a greedy band of Indians builds a goofy bridge that you can walk on for $60 and everybody feels left out if THEY DON'T DO IT TOO. Sheep. Baaaa. Baaaa.

  • Well call me a sheep. Ive been to the Grand Canyon. Walking up to the ridge was quite a rush, but walking on an open-air glass bridge jutting out over the edge would be taking that experience even further, for which I dont have the nerve to do. We have the CN tower where I am, and walking over the glass for is *most definitely* not the same as looking over the balcony. Have you been to either?

  • What are you referring to when you write "either"? I've been to the Grand Canyon several times. I have no idea what the "CN tower" is. None.

If you don't see this bridge as a money-making scam, then fine. But it certainly is a money-making scam. Pure and simple. I'm hardly the first or the only person to make this judgement.

And Americans, as well, also promote any number of "foolish things" every minuite of the day. It's called advertising.

  • The CN tower stood (until a few months ago) as the tallest free standing structure *in the world* for over *3 decades*.

I just think you target Americans too specifically and harshly in your criticism of intelligence, nothing personal.

  • I still don't have a clue what the CN Tower is.

And give me an example of a "foolish thing...promoted by (a) non-american culture".

Again, American advertising is full of "foolish" promotions. It's a constant.

  • CN tower: at this point you should google it, I cant change what you knew before this conversation.

Non-American foolishness: Homeopathy in the UK, Witchcraft in southern african nations, numerical superstitions of all types in south east asia. Im not american, but I just need to stress foolishness is by no means a US phenomena.

  • Homeopathy, witchcraft, superstitions... all of these are alive and well in the U.S. of A. I live in California where the silliest belief systems are elevated to the level of tax-exempt religion. You've never heard of Scientology? Am I targeting the U.S.? Those things all exist. Stupidities piled on top of stupidities. America is full of them. Please don't lecture me about my country. I've had to confront the stupidities first-hand all of my adult life.

  • How often does the Government of California issue warnings against its residents to not kill Albinos as witches (Tanzania), or go on a tour promoting the benefits of homeopathy (Prince Charles)? I'm not sure we're debating, Im just asking you to not underestimate the foolishness beyond your own borders.

  • You REALLY don't live in America, do you? It is difficult to UNDERestimate the foolishness in the U.S. in general and in California in particular. I mean, LOOK AT THE INTERVIEWEES IN THIS VIDEO FOR CHRISSAKES! WE ELECTED GEORGE BUSH FOR 2 TERMS! FOR CHRISSAKES! Who the hell is arguing that there isn't foolishness in all cultures? Jesus. I didn't say anything about any other cultures.

  • Ive spent much time in the states professionally and personally, with much family living there. And Ive visited other countries. I just find a theme bashing americans lately that seems somewhat targeted.

  • Another example: Nancy Reagan, former first lady of the U.S. and native of California consulted astrologers on a regular basis. There are fortune tellers and psychics all over California. They make a pretty good living. How much more evidence do you need for me to convince you that Americans believe bullshit just as much as any other culture? Why do you equate pointing out the truth to bashing?

  • "How much more evidence do you need for me to convince you that Americans believe bullshit just as much as any other culture?"

    Thats my point.

  • shutup commie

  • kelstrophic if you read the thread, you'd realize Im defending the American population.
