  • @emmamarzetti Thank god not Alice. Cuold be confusing for a "normal" kid. I named my guinea pig Alice and got told several times, that my girl is in fact a boy. I always said "yes, I know". Some folks even understood. ^^

  • ....

    and incredibly sexy ;)

  • '73... discovered Alice via 'Billion Dollar Babies'...so intrigued by this band ... Love it to Death, Killer ~ amazing LP's !!! RIP Glen Buxton

  • This song has a nice Proto-Punk appeal

  • What a band!

  • That Killer album was just dynamite. As for this song, what a guitar riff. WHA

  • In 2006 Alice's daughter Calico Cooper starred in the motion picture Puppy which has become a cult classic home and abroad (Europe). We had the honor of creating the theme song for this cult classic. Hope you enjoy this as much as we did making it!

  • i used to listen to my moms alice records when i was 14. oh god i was so upset when she got rid of it!! then all i had was the new alice cooper cd with poison on it... i missed the classic alice!! so my step dad burned my a cd with old alice songs! :) but it still wasnt the same as the record player lol.

  • I never get bored of this song.

  • I love this band. I've been 18 (for 42 years) and I like it (still).

  • @avlisk I lost count :))

  • i used to listed to this on one of my daddy's records when i was little.

    i love alice.

sadly, people my age don't really even know who he is.

  • @HillaryUC1410 shit man I know what you mean. if your around your teens and you show Alice Cooper to anyone you know of, many dumb asses would think he might be emo because of his gimmick if you are around your teen I just want to say your Generation BLOWS! no offense.

  • old ladies sick and i cant leave her home

  • so thats where dr rockso got his jump suit

  • dig it, classic R&R 's very best.

  • The Hall of Fame needed the whole group and this is why.

  • I photographed Alice in 1975 and 1977 in Canada. To see the shots go to ianmarkmusicphotos (.com)

  • Hottest man on the planet!

  • Saw him in '72 in Cincinnati. The best thing was that Flo and Eddie opened for him.

  • he is ugly, wasted, wear fucking weird clothes...cant it be anymore entertaining? he is a clown

  • @989Saher He's a picture of ugly stories. He's a killer and he's a clown.

  • @989Saher alice is not here to be beautiful. he is an icon and if you dont like him why the fuck are you watching this clip. this page is for alice fans only!!!

  • I like' em when he is older

  • Alice had a band of taleneted musicians willing toi to do whatn he wanted

  • Its incredible that Alice Cooper(ne Vincent Fournier) was President of his High school class, and a Varsity Letter Athlete just a few years earlier!

  • @Jgeneraledger23 *Furnier

  • @EvoVocalChick still, he's one of the coolest cats around ;)

  • @Jgeneraledger23 One? He IS the coolest cat around :D lol

  • Great Song

  • Hammer,Goiles Liedchen.Rico.

  • @legofreak2000 Yes, he does an excellent job with with his classic rock show, and the different segments he includes, not to mention, he plays great tunes. A living legend indeed. 3/28/2011

  • this dude is hilarious on the radio.

  • BEAST MODE!

  • i so much preferred Alice Cooper the group to the subsequent solo artist.

  • Remember the Coop!

  • Desde mi tierna infancia escuche esta rolita, me trae muchisimos recuerdos

  • Looks great, great song, but the audio is the album cut.

  • @BobBerkeley I just compared them side by side. This video is definitely NOT the album cut. They still may or may not be lip-synching, but it's definitely NOT the album cut.

  • Second concert I ever went to in 72. They've done tons of great stuff but the killer album was the best. Way ahead of their time. Nobody to compare them to in 72...

  • @TampaBayster

Absolutely agree TB. I saw them at NC State in April '72 performing material from Killer and Love It To Death. The boa, the doll baby, the gallows, the white top hat and tails finale, the works. Excellent concert and way ahead of everyone else on glam rock, theatrical rock, goth, etc.

Love that white Gibson LP Custom SG too. RIP, Glen.

  • me encantaa.. clasicazo!

  • Alice rocks still love it...

  • I was just at his restaurant in Phoenix last weekend. You wanna see some cool rock and roll stuff people,,,Go,,,Go now,Buy yourself airfare to Phx.You won't regret it one bit.It has to be one of the coolest places to Eat,Drink and watch Sports that i've ever been to.Even the waitresses have their eyes done like Alice's!!

  • Alice in his prime. Love KILLERS album.

  • First concert !! Eighth grade 1972 Minneapolis Armory. Awesome!!!

  • ALICE COOPER...DAVID BOWIE...MY FIRST TWO LOVES..YES AT THE SAME TIME...I ROLL THAT WAY!! lol

  • not bed

  • Alice Cooper, congrats on going into Hall of Fame. Like many who are not in yet, Alice Cooper did not need the "Hall of Fame", the Hall needed him.

  • @DAVWAVE The Rock n roll hall fame sucks they don't even have Maiden or Priest but they let Metallica before cooper that's dumb.

  • @Chemicalwarfare84 I agree, they the RRHOF is somewhat of a joke. We all have our favorites.

  • great post! I know this song isnt from the album, but "Billion Dollar Babies" is in the top 5 for the best albums of all time (in my opinion)

  • FUCKIN' ALICE!

    Never ceases to amaze!

  • 5 people wish they were the mic stand at 1:45

  • This is one of my favorite numbers from one of his first albums. I saw him in 1977/8? and again in 2005. The show was smaller but the showman was alive and well. Love him.

  • I've never seen him this young before. His voice sounds great.

  • Hey, LoveMetalForever100, you remember the Gasworks! Wow, what a blast from the past! Oh yeah, by the way, great video Bozonono13, thanks for posting!

  • Saw the band during their Killer tour at the Agrodome in Vancouver on Feb. 12, 1972 while peaking on Orange Sunshine acid... They played the whole album starting with 'You Drive Me Nervous'... The opening power chord with drum intro totally blew me away ! What a sound, what a trip !!!... the visuals were unfuckingbelievable. In terms of rock concerts (and I've seen a shitload), nothing comes close.

  • This tune always gave a good start to a night of partying, especially at the Gasworks on Yonge St in Toronto.

  • cool alice

  • It is a sham that the ORIGINAL Alice Cooper GROUP is not in the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame...hopefully that will change this year!

  • It is a sham that the ORIGINAL Alice Cooper GROUP is not in the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame...hopefully that will change this year!

  • I got to see Alice Cooper in the early 70's before he got famous. He is still the Man.

  • alice cooper drove a stake thru the heart of the "love" generation

  • Alice Cooper is still great, He inspired everyone from KISS, to Marylin Manson and Rob Zombie!

  • gotta find the thumbs down voters and . . . (insert nasty bits here lol)

  • Alice, you are unique. Hope to see you soon ;-)

  • My first concert was Alice Cooper ( Billion Dollar Babies tour) back in 1973 when I was in 9th grade.

  • Lip sync

  • @alwaysopen hardly

  • I can see them in the control room...OMG what is he doing to that mike!!!! Close in! Close IN!

  • Alice Cooper has one of the very best signature voices in rock & roll. He is a fantastic song writer and as a performer of the early 70's and the father of shock rock, not to mention one of the most influential artists to EVER take the stage. Alice Cooper is the most untouchable legends that the human race has ever had the privilege to have seen perform live.

  • @TSAllenBRP absolutely - I feel incredibly lucky that I got to see him/them four times in concert

  • @integral Thanks for the reply man. That's awesome to hear you've seen Cooper four times. I've seen him three occasions, one of which was the Dragontown Tour in Germany.

  • when he says 'anticipating fun' it sounds like 'anticipating fuck'

  • THEE rock GOD!

  • The beginning on my teenage decline.....

  • The drummer looks like Karl Logan of Manowar

  • wat year was this?/how old is alice cooper now?

  • did he have a sunburn on his chest cause its red

  • Vince always seemed to find the hottest guitar players. Always......

    Vintage Cooper-love it!

  • Does anyone else think that he's lip singing in this video

  • finally coop is a finalist in 2011 for the rock and roll hall of fame

  • DWI!

  • G o d = G o (O)DD..

  • Saw the late seventies show in Louisville. Welcome to My Nightmare tour. An actual show not just a musical adventure. Dancing teeth, chickens, giant spiderweb, cyclops chopping off his head and hot dancers. Great experience.

  • Lady Gaga in her brunette phase.

  • @oldrazor -- omfg priceless!!! roflmao

  • i dont know why i just don't dig this i gess i am more of an 80s-90 guy :-(

  • omg he was so young tht time

  • Was this "Budweiser Alice" or "vodka Alice"?

  • awsome!!!!! thats what i said the first time i heard this song. ;D

  • One of my inspirations, saw them 3 times in the 70s and met Dennis and Michael, Dennis was super super nice, Michael was a little stand offish and surly, but you all are right when you say what a great band they were great players all of them, RIP Glen Buxton.

  • this was a great group maybe mr, rock and roll hall they could get a long look to see if they qualify for your shrine

  • Alice Cooper was the first to have a real "SHOW" not just music!! Prop's & Rock! Like 7 & 7 or Jack & Coke! His songs told a story & he'd bring them to life one at a time! Sorry Gene & Paul, but Alice was the FIRST!

  • his eighties make up looked cooler

  • God = Go(O)d . . . . . . ..

  • classick!!

  • The original band was pretty awesome. Wonder what happened to them?

  • I went from country music to Alice Cooper's Billion Dollar Babies. Thank God for Alice Cooper and that Gibson guitar tone. Very underrated band.

I was 14 and innocent when I walked in ,an Alice Cooper maniac when I walked out,it was a few short months before Schools Out hit the Bigtime summer '72 I think !

  • wonderfull!!thanks for sharing!!!

  • Oh yes. Alice is such a babe. Uuummm. I love him so much. He is very different from the new rockers of today. He is in his own category. There is no comparison when it come to Alice. This man rocks.

  • His demeanor is hilarious in this video.

  • In the '70s when I was a teenager this man scared me to death. Now I can't get enough of him!

  • @TallncurvyinMA

LOL I used to be scared as hell of Alice Cooper as well, but now I love him to death. he fucking rocks.

  • so this is where kesha got her make ideas ;)

  • @CelkateProductions

LOL! her make-up does look simalar to Cooper's doesn't it?

  • a cool guy !

  • There is so much to hear when you listen to the Alice Cooper band, but I always end up hearing the brilliance of Dennis Dunaway.

  • Great show May 1st Vancouver.

  • Drummer looks like he's too big for those drums:P lol

  • Is this Goth Glam. Alice Cooper was a riot. Exciting guitar isn't. I find it quite relaxing. Watch how his outfit goes from being unzipped and "lowcut" to zipped up.

  • Will anyone go on his concert in Italy this year?

  • fabulous, alice!! A SONG ABOUT RUNNING OVER YOUR DATE,THEN, "OH WHY DONT YOU LET ME BE!!!',GREAT

  • @alezander666 As it should be.

  • best makeout song.

    ever.

  • Killer, Love It To Death, School's Out & Billion Dollar Babies were four of the best albums from the early 70s. I don't think they get nearly as much recognition as they deserve.

They were a huge influence for a lot of young musicians at the time. This lineup was the best as far as I'm concerned. And although Vince put out a lot of great music after this era, nothing can compare with those four albums. Of course that's just my opinion. ;)

  • my first inspiration, thank you alice

  • My first album in my first apartment happy BIRTHDAY ALICE

  • I have seen Alice Cooper live in 8 cities KC,Denver ,Tampa St Pete ,Miami Toronto and so on He is the best never slippin always great and now selling cars at Barrett-Jackson High Dollar cars..David

That's the way you do it :).

  • alice cooper is amazing :) loooove him! i had a dream that i met him once, it was so awesome!

  • Påtänd eller???? HA ha ha

  • Great Great Band! one of the legends during the best days of rock!

  • Tons of classic songs. No More Mr Nice Guys, School's Out and many many more. Unfortunately, just like many other great classic bands this one is really underrated.

  • @MrMee322 i agree

  • You are confused. The Beatles fell apart. Alice Cooper still rocks. Besides, Stones and Alice are totally different kinds of music.

  • @MrMee322 Alice Cooper or the Alice Cooper Band two different entities...

  • @KGRI That's heresy! Repent!

  • This band is the creepiest bunch of goons who ever crawled out of a moist cave.

  • classic song, one of MANY from the great Alice Cooper, i uploaded me signing this, my tribute!

Long live Alice and rock & roll !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 1:45, I think Alice is telling us a story with his right hand on the mike stand!

  • Previous comment is spot-on and this performance is musical thunder, even without the live 'shocks'

  • Alice Cooper (70's era) was unique and way ahead of the times. I couldn't wait for the next album to come out, the shows were beyond anything the Doors or the Stooges could put off. He had sexy women, shock, a killer rock band, and would have been as big as anyone until booze wrecked his sense. Musically, they were dynamite, explosive and a lot of energy. That was not the case in the aforementioned bands. Alice Cooper was a unique entity and shouldn't be compared with other's in that era.

  • @portjervisinKorea I miss the 70's/80's kind of rock. what they put out now is just crap!

  • @portjervisinKorea WOAH. You CANNOT say that the Stooges were not explosive and had a lot of energy. That is denying the blatantly obvious seen as Iggy is a notorious madman!

  • @portjervisinKorea You rightt Dude .......but the Stooges , back in those days , was the real Killer Band ( they STILL are !!!!!! ) ......Alice Cooper , compared to the Stooges , was a Disneyland act .......

  • @portjervisinKorea I'd have to disagree with that. For one thing, Black Sabbath had already paved the way for Alice Cooper. Also, although I love his music, he couldn't possibly any more unique than The Doors. They were both lyrically and instrumentally different from anything ever heard. Alice Cooper's music is lyrically different than most during that era but the instrumental part of his songs was nothing that hadn't been done a thousand times before.

  • @portjervisinKorea Nah they all had alot of energy. Just Alice Cooper brought in a lot of new things that would be very big in 80's Hair Metal. Those are all great bands you metioned but Alice Cooper was definetly ahead of his time as you said.

  • @portjervisinKorea I agree with everything you said about Alice Cooper being explosive and energetic, but the Stooges were extremely innovative. They along with the MC5 basically created punk music. Alice Cooper did the same thing with shock rock. I'm not putting down Alice Cooper but to say that the Stooges were not dynamite and explosive and energetic just isn't true. I mean common Iggy Pop was breaking bottles and cutting himself on stage. Both are amazing and were ahead of their time.

  • Alice looks like Elizabeth Taylor.

  • I LOVE this song! Alice Cooper has been a fave. of mine for soooo many years! I like most of his stuff but the best( at least too me ) was when he was still doing stuff with these guys!

  • alice cooper looks like ronnie james dio.

  • Blonde Bomber Buxton and the rest of the group DESERVE to be in some kind of hall of fame! Maybe the "SHOCK ROCK" hall of fame!!!

    Yeah baby!

  • Like all institutions, credibility diminishes over time.

The Pistols didn't pay the RNR Hall any mind when they were inducted a few years ago - they knew better. . Did you know Blondie is in the Hall Of Fame ? What a joke ! You are right - big money and ego are the enemies of rock'n'roll.

  • Very good. Have you heard John Todd. Former family member of the illuminati and head of Zodiac records. If not you want to.

  • how in the freakin world can these dudes not be in the rock and roll hall of fame???!!!!! .... why does the music press discount these pioneers so so much???

  • The hall of shame is just that, nothing new- if an artist needs their seal of approval when they are beyond question-righteous rockers forever-then they need an attitute ajustment. Lessor artists crave mommies pat on the back. Glen would probably joke about NOT wanting in-so obvious the sloppy seconds.Hell non-rock and rollers are in for devils sake! Big heads big money-the enemy of Rock and Roll Long live Rock and Roll down with halls of shame

  • I lived in Albuquerque in 1967 and this band called the Spiders played at a club called Carnaby 66.I lived next door to the club and would clean up,and sometimes hang out and party with the band..Let me say this...Despite all the negative prress, the band was the most down to earth bunch ,your basic garage band ...Neil.Dennis,Mike,Glenn,and Vince/

  • old grey whistle test november 1971.

  • I love these old videos!! It's amazing how long he's been rocking!!

  • This is my ringtone.

  • My dad and I are both huge Cooper fanatics. I'm 20, he's 50. We both started listening to Cooper at age 13.

  • I couldn't help but notice the similarities. I'm 48, my son is 20, and we both love Alice. Only we're English. in the 70s I think AC was the only American music I had in my collection (I was only a teenager) Now I think British music stinks (mostly) and I love your music.

  • hey dont get down on british music unless of coarse you are referring to the imediate now as todays music.

  • AWESOME! =D One of my favorites with Alice!!

  • One of the best Alice songs!!!!!!!!!!

  • RIP Glenn Buxton...Not only all around a great guitar player but a great person.
