  • I actually saw "Off the Minnesota Strip" at some point in the early 80s on late-night television (with like 300 commercial interruptions). I thought it was a good movie but I never realized that was Mare Winningham up till now. Didn't know she won the Emmy for it either. It was a lot more realistic a movie than other teen prostitute films like "Dawn, Portrait of a Teenage Runaway" or "Angel".

  • Mare Winningham won an Emmy for her amazing performance in Off the Minnesota Strip. It's such a haunting piece of work, and I love d how the character looked up to Mick Jagger, as he had all the control in the world.

This telly movie is so rare...I was hoping that someone would upload it on Youtube.

A&E ran it back in 1987...It's a shame se few even know about it.

  • I love that old Captain D's sign! I had no idea that they ever sold hamburgers.

  • Love the looks of them olds wish I could go back in time and Buy all of them man that would be something
