This is really great! I have a question about breathing. Sometimes I lose track and I'm inhaling when you're saying exhale. Is that really really wrong? For example, when reaching up, you MUST inhale and when going to downward facing dog you MUST exhale? Thanks so much for all the videos. I prefer doing yoga at home instead of in a class and you've been a great help for a beginner like me.
@TheCloudXTraining Palms face the head. Imagine you are holding the moon in that space between the arms and above the head. This practice is so beautiful. It really does mimic the moon phases. So incredibly different than the sun salutation too : )
@mogroovee Hi, is it ok to have the palms facing the front instead? I briefly learned that, but done facing front. What is the right/recommended way actually? thank u. :)
Great, I missed Moon Salutation so much, last time I did it was long years ago, now just Sun! Guess I'll start my days with Sun Salutation and ending it with Moon, thanks Ester XD
wonderful stretch but i don't think i warmed up right i almost pulled a muscle in my lower left back and it hurts LOL! guess thats what i get for being to sure of my self!
I have (had) the same problems. To make your learning curve more humane, you can always stay in each pose for a number of breaths. This allows you time to remember what to comes. With practise, you should be able to 'dance' the salution.
I have to agree with Rasmuzzen, I was surprised just how complicated the sequence actually is... That said I didn't even know there was a moon salutation, never occured to me.
It's funny how yoga shows how unbalanced your body is when you start. I can do almost any stretch with my upper body and the muscles in the front of my legs but my calf muscles are so tight I cant plant my feet in Down Dog, that said I'm working on it.
A vid on planing your own sequence would be great!

From my point of view the Sun Salutation is relativy simpel, so I was guessing that Moon Salutation is allso simpel, I think your salutation is ...kind of difficult...but I have seen another moon salutation in a book I will find later...
This is my favorite one, Esther. Thank you!

Hi, can anyone tell me what is the name of that pose in 4:00 ? Are the palms supposed to face the head (ears) or towards the front? Thanks. :)
