Around 26,000 feet. The death zone starts at an altitude just slightly above Camp Three... from there, you have a very definite time in which to summit and descend before your chances of survival drop.
@strathpol Please, think up a better comeback than that or else I'll have to match it with 'no, but I understand what girlfriends are and I have more of them than you'
@strathpol Your life seems so oriented around money. If you think that going on youtube, trolling people and telling them how much you earn is going to make you friends, that's probably why you have no friends, which in turn explains why you're so angry and insecure all the time.
This is nothing to do with money, but if you must know then I'm not doing too badly either :)
ahaahha!! thanks

It's a gorgeously technical and stable shot, but the resolution and graininess does not do it justice.

why is the sky so black
280az 3 years ago
Because of the rarefaction of the air...up to the everest there's no atmosphere, no oxigen, no air.
PaneroChecco 3 years ago
Actually above the death zone (last 900 metres untill the top) there is only 1/3 of the oxigen.
skillbill83 3 years ago
how far is death-zone though? stratosphere are we talking about?

@strathpol Strange, your videos seem very low budget. You couldn't even get proper wind sound effects!

@3kliksphilip
Wind sound effects? on a video recorded INSIDE the car? are you a moron? why would anyone want wind noise. Pahahahagahagagaga.

Ahh, when you actually have enough MONEY to even think about climbing everest, come back.
I make €3200 a month, after tax, and you? Oh, I'm also younger than you, so who failed at life?

@PaneroChecco What are you talking about, no atmosphere and air? The Troposphere extends well over the height of Everest.
whatageeza 8 months ago
@PaneroChecco People climb it without the use of oxygen tanks. There is still air up there. About 1/3rd as much as at sea level.
