@tacticalcheerio You most likely could have out run him. The state tahoes' have the active fuel management so he was only most likely only using 4 of his 8 cylinders. Also the faster the truck accelerates, the longer it takes for it to engage the other 4. Yes, i'm only talking about a matter of about .5 sec difference, but when it only takes you 2 sec to get from 70 to 120, the pursuit would probably be in your favor.

@blackpenguin69 We used to work on Tahoes for the HP. Beleive me they aren't that fast. You see I retired from GM as a mechanic and worked on MANY Highway Patrol Tahoes, they aren't as fast as the front wheel drive Impala's.
