@arlahevioleta Dilana no ganó porque hizo malos comentarios sobre Lukas en una entrevista y los de Rockstar Supernova se lo echaron en cara, lo cual la perjudicó para la decisión final (Lukas y ella eran los favoritos). Mi opinión es que se sintieron intimidados por tener una mujer al frente porque obviamente les iba a hacer sombra. Lo que ocurrió al final es que ganó Lukas y se comieron una mierda como grupo, como era de esperar. Dilana sigue en activo dándolo todo (yo la sigo en Facebook)

you know she was the best on this show...and I loved INXS when Michael was in the band but even then they weren't edgie.... she was too good for this reality crap ass, circus of a show...and I'm a fellow Torontonian...so I'm not against the winner...but where are they now? Tommy is still chasing after his rock band dream and Pam...and INXS is still only known by Michael Hutchinson ...that's just my opinion...

This was a point in the show where there were problems with an interview she did and took heat for it from the guys and the fans on the show, they also painted her pretty bad in the weekly videos of what when on at the rock house in between shows. This song was more of a statement from her after the crap she went thru, thats why the looks from the men and Supernova. It wasn't pretty what went on.

I feel that Dilana was the hands down ROCKSTAR in the lineup. I also believe that perhaps Supernova felt threatened by this alpha female singer who quite frankly, could sing the phone book, and I would buy it!!! The powers that be made a huge mistake picking the lame singer that won... The album sales would have been off the charts if Dilana had been the one to front Supernova. Can we have a recount of the true votes?? T-Lee obviously loved her performances, guess his opinion was worth squat!!~

Yet it seemed that in the end only Gilby stood by her (and he was outvoted). I guess in the end ego won over genuine ability, they went with a safe loser and Superfizzer was the result

@alwayswildatheart I agree with you on that... Gilbey was outvoted and it should have been made known that there was a winner picked before any music was played! I guess that's what you get when the networks want to push a music act.... no upsetting the apple cart with a dynamic performer...just go with a lame act that has no chance of a second album... the networks get what they want AND they get to wash their hands of any future commitment with a one trick pony.

@wjs1710 The purpose of the show was to put the contestants through a battery of tests utilizing various styles of rock music to push the envelope of the possible to effectively audition singers. In my opinion, Dilana more than met the criteria. She had the stage presence, vocal abilities, and the style of what Supernova was shopping for. With apologies to Lukas Rossi, I feel he would be more suited to a Duran Duran type band than Supernova. His voice would serve power pop better than rock...

Exellent comment, she's doing all this stage performance, mood, stage vision on her own. Bands that are big time have help, lighting,

stage managers etc, to get the right show planned. Her myspace Say's she's unsighed, she's a diamond ready to blow! All she needs is anyone to back her, perfect songs, publicist, video, tour & you have a star. Her vioce, effort, lyrics are key. Hit songs would come from studio time hit songs pushed her way her song solid gold could be a hit if FULLY produced!

Met her after a show in Hermosa Beach. I don't think people realize how funny she is, she loves to laugh. Like someone said she sounds like a smoker, well she is for sure. One, thing she is a sweet person and yes does sound like Janice Joplin. I do think she should have won. She got a bad rap, like she was this mean person, when she is so funny and loveable. She is also tiny about 5 foot max.. But, you know what they say, dynamite comes in small packages.

In case anyone is wondering: the reason that the judges looked so concerned at the first round of "Ooh/Aj", was that they know this hit Talking Heads tune well -- so they knew immediately that she had missed the first half of the French lines. Dilana knew it, too. That's why she turned away from the audience suddenly. She forgot the words, and needed to cover up as best as possible--keep things going. How she handled it is what defined the vote that the judges gave her for "Psycho Killer".
