im sorry its really good music but can we all agree that the guy singer SUCKS? i mean, who the fuck put a mic in front of him it almost ruins the rest of this great band
They might write their own lyrics, but most of the actual music isn't written by the band itself. Especially with bands associated with Kisaki or Dynamite Tommy. I'm assuming you read that one interview thing that was published a while ago. If not, you really should.
japanese music is exactly the same as english music, but with japanese voices. Stop talking bullshit, if you search hard enough you'll find good music in any language.
That said, this band is pretty damn great. vocals need some gettin' used to at first, but then it's great.
I think it is matter of personal opinion whether you like music from a country or not. I say is I like music in Japanese language more than in the English language. And I am not trying to argue with you nor say music in English is not good, but based on the music I've heard I haven't found anything worth it.
Yeah thats true, but you just made a blatant statement "Japanse music is way better than music in English" And you probably havent heard enough music in english to real justify being able to say something that forthright
@CaptainWizardBeard I do agree with most of your points however I do not feel that the music is the same. I can't really explain it but I personally get a different feeling from Japanese music compared to North American music. It isn't a thing that I can describe easily but for me there is a distinct difference between the two.
@CaptainWizardBeard rock music began in the west. saying that this is no different from western rock aside from language is to suggest that japanese musicians have not developed any unique style and are just following some global herd. you effectively deny them an identity by painting them with the same brush as everyone else. j-rock is as valid a stylistic distinction as neue deutsche härte or brit-pop.
good (and bad) music exists in every scene. that doesn't make every scene the same.

Sorry, I must disagree, japanese music in general has a very own identity, and this sounds very japanese, for that matter.
