What the Fairness Doctrine is supposed to do is create Fairness in the Media. Imagine if they only thing you listened to was Rush Limbaugh. Sure its your choice, but you are never going to get a fair and impartial view of world affairs, only black and white conservative discussion.

Their is nothing fair about that doctrine. It is discrimination and censorship. Knowing it is doa the new threat to free speech is localism. It is a scam to provide local content. But it will hurt the industry and is the back door fairness doctrine.
