@andyli916 Those of you with the problem of the unchangeable 192,000 bit rate are running a version of Vegas that had an annoying bug. Two options for solving the problem: use the SONY AAC/AVC encoding instead (works just fine, is compatible, and WILL let you set and store a different bit rate), OR upgrade to a newer version of Vegas. I've moved up to 10 and haven't found any bugs or kinks of any kind in it yet.
@EastAlabamaMedia Version 10.0a has this so-called "192,000" bug. I'm upgrading to the latest one (10.0e) to fix it. Thanks for your video. It was very helpful.
864x486 is a custom size TurnHere required for AT&T videos after the new digital upload process went into effect. Otherwise, a vertical black space appeared at the edge of the video after their final conversion for AT&T.
@scarson4 . You must be using the version with the bug that wasn't fixed. Fix is to buy later version (update) from Sony. But there is still an easy way around the problem: Don't use the MainConcept AVC/AAC. Use the Sony AVC instead. Creates the same files (MP4). Offers a few different tweaks and options, but will create a fully equivalent file with minimal changes (like setting the bit at 3,072,000.)
You must have your annotations turned off. I added an annotation regarding the new 864x486 before TurnHere officially announced that being the new size. They had to do that because the new transcoding process involved in their new upload system was putting a black bar on the edge of the videos prior to being sent to AT&T. This new size takes care of that.
thank you much!!!! rofl been having so many problems. but now i have to work with a video that was rendered by the client first instead of sent to me as a raw file and then put through the intervnet so the file is badly messed up. im fixing it up though.
I can't change the constant bit rate, when I click "ok" box, it resets to 192,000. What can I do?

Just letting you know 864z486 is wrong
For 16:9 content, 360p = 640x360; 480p = 854x480; 720p = 1280x720; 1080p = 1920x1080.

Good tutorial.
YouTube now uploads every video in HQ(So they say) And the WxH is 640x360. As the Bit Rate, I believe YouTube excepts up to(Or More) 6 Mmps

NOTE: the 16x9 video specs for TurnHere have been changed. Instead of 854x480 for 16x9, you should now render the file at 864 x 486 pixels.
